A.Y. 2027/28. A valid and recognized first-cycle (bachelor) degree awarded by the end of October 2027 (international applicants: or at the first graduation session after the summer break if that falls after October 2027). No minimum GPA is required to take part: a joint Bocconi-Politecnico di Milano admissions board combines quantitative criteria (test score where required, GPA of passed exams) with qualitative criteria (application dossier and motivation); the selection is competitive (50 places). Graduates of Bocconi and Politecnico di Milano are assessed on GPA, dossier and motivation (Polimi graduates need a test only if they also choose Bocconi-only programmes); graduates of other Italian universities and international applicants also on the test. Applicants with an Italian bachelor degree: classes L-7, L-8, L-9, L-18 and L-33 are directly accepted; all other classes need at least 30 CFU in one or more of SECS-P/01-13, SECS-S/01-06, MAT/01-09, INF/01, FIS/01-03, FIS/07, ING-INF/04-05-06, ING-IND/17, ING-IND/22-27, ING-IND/35, ICAR/03, ICAR/13, ICAR/17, ICAR/20, ICAR/21. For non-Italian degrees no class or credit table is published for this programme.
A.Y. 2027/28. English at least B2 (CEFR). Not needed to apply or for the selection; required in case of admission to complete enrollment, by the enrollment deadline and no later than 30 June 2027 (dedicated Italian-degree rounds: B2 by the end of June 2027), otherwise enrollment is cancelled. For this joint degree the proof may be any requirement accepted by Bocconi for its English-taught MSc programmes or any requirement accepted by Politecnico di Milano. Bocconi-accepted: a university qualification (or secondary school diploma) awarded in English; an English exam at B2 level or higher passed in a university course; or a certificate: IELTS Academic (paper, computer, online or One Skill Retake) 6.5 with at least 6 in every section, TOEFL iBT 88, Duolingo English Test 110, Cambridge CAE 173, CPE 180, FCE grade B or 173, BEC Higher 173, BEC Vantage grade B or 173; nationals of majority English-speaking countries (e.g. Australia, Canada, New Zealand) are assumed to meet it. Politecnico di Milano-accepted (list updated for A.Y. 2027/2028): TOEFL iBT at least 78 (tests until 20/01/2026) or at least 4.5 (tests from 21/01/2026), IELTS Academic or General Training 6, Cambridge First grade B / Advanced grade C / Proficiency grade C, TOEIC 785 Listening & Reading + 310 Speaking & Writing, PTE Academic 59, Pearson PEIC 59, Trinity ISE II, LanguageCert B2 Communicator, or a bachelor taught in English for at least 3 years (75% of courses). No Italian-language requirement for admission.
A.Y. 2027/28. Test Name: GMAT / GRE / Bocconi online graduate test. Mandatory: yes for international applicants (a compulsory evaluation element; applications without it are not evaluated) and for graduates of Italian universities other than Bocconi and Politecnico di Milano
Bocconi and Politecnico di Milano graduates are exempt (Polimi graduates need it only if they also choose Bocconi-only programmes). Dates (Bocconi online test for international graduate applicants): purchase 14 July 2026 - 26 April 2027, test window 16 July 2026 - 28 April 2027, EUR 60 per attempt, 50 multiple-choice questions in 75 minutes; the score must be valid by the deadline of the chosen round (e.g. last test day for international Round 1 is 28 October 2026, booking by 26 October). Thresholds: Bocconi online test for international graduate applicants at least 15/50 (penalties included)
GMAT at least 500/800 or GMAT Focus Edition at least 485/805 (scores up to five years old)
