Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree in one of the listed classes: L-20 Communication, L-18 Business administration, L-1 Cultural heritage, L-3 Visual arts, music, performing arts and fashion studies, L-5 Philosophy, L-6 Geography, L-10 Humanities, L-11 Modern languages and civilisations, L-12 Applied languages, L-14 Legal services, L-15 Tourism, L-16 Administration, L-19 Education and training, L-42 History, L-31 Computer science, L-24 Psychology, L-33 Economics, L-36 Political sciences and international relations, L-37 Peace studies, L-39 Social work, or L-40 Sociology, or an equivalent class under the relevant Italian ministerial decrees. Applicants with a different degree class may still apply if they already earned at least 50 ECTS in the academic fields listed in the call, including philosophy/theory of language, linguistics, modern and contemporary history, computer science/information processing, sociology of culture/communication/general/political/economic-labour/environmental processes, political science, English language, contemporary art/theatre/cinema, Italian literature, political economy/economic policy/applied economics/business/management/organisation, statistics/social statistics, private/commercial/administrative/constitutional/public/international/EU law, and general/social/work-and-organisational psychology. An equivalent foreign qualification recognized as suitable by the University is accepted. The call is also open to students in the final year of a first-cycle programme in Italy or abroad, provided they graduate by 31 December 2026. The 2026/2027 manifesto states that 180 credits are required for admission.

Dil Koşulları

English proficiency at CEFR B2 or higher is required for admission. UniMi accepts three official routes: a recognized B2-or-higher certificate issued no more than 3 years before the admission application and uploaded with the application; a SLAM-certified English level achieved during a University of Milan degree programme no more than 4 years before the application date, checked automatically; or the SLAM English entry test scheduled for 24 September 2026. Applicants who do not submit a valid certificate or do not meet the required level are directed to the SLAM test during the admission procedure. If they do not pass the test, they must meet the language requirement by 31 December 2026; the programme page and the UniMi SLAM page state that recognized certificates must be submitted to SLAM via InformaStudenti by the programme deadline. For non-EU applicants applying for a visa, the call additionally states that enrolment is possible only if they pass the Italian language proficiency test, except in cases of exemption. The programme is not fully English at programme level: UniMi lists the overall teaching language as Italian and English.

Sınav / Test

For Italian, EU and equivalent applicants not applying for a visa, admission includes one test on 2 September 2026 at 9:30am assessing communication theory, computer science, marketing, statistics, and current events. Each correct answer scores 1 point and each wrong or missing answer scores 0. The final ranking weights degree mark or grade point average at 40%, communication theory at 25%, computer science at 10%, marketing at 10%, statistics at 10%, and current events at 5%. During the test, candidates may not use books, notes, calculators, smartphones, or similar devices. The call also provides suggested handbooks in both Italian and English. For non-EU applicants applying for a visa, admission is based on evaluation by an Admission Board of the academic CV and bachelor's degree score in lieu of the admission test.
