- EU Deadline
- EU candidates and equivalents: admission application from 22 January 2026 to 20 July 2026.
- Non-EU Deadline
- Non-EU candidates applying for a visa: admission application from 22 January 2026 to 30 April 2026. Non-EU visa applicants must also submit the Universitaly pre-enrolment application by 31 July 2026.
- Akademik Koşullar
- Applicants need a bachelor's degree or an equivalent foreign qualification recognized by the University. The programme normally admits graduates from Italian degree classes L-18 Scienze dell'economia e della gestione aziendale, L-33 Scienze economiche, and L-41 Statistica. Applicants from other degree classes may be considered only after positive evaluation by the Collegio Didattico or its delegates if, by the date of effective submission of the admission application, they already hold at least 6 ECTS in mathematics (MAT/01-MAT/05, MAT/07-MAT/09, SECS-S/06), 6 ECTS in statistics (MAT/06, SECS-S/01-SECS-S/05, SECS-P/05), and 12 ECTS in economics (SECS-P/01-SECS-P/03, SECS-P/06). Minimum curricular requirements are necessary but not sufficient: the Admission Board also evaluates personal competencies and skills through the admission procedure. The manifesto states 180 credits are required for admission. Applicants must graduate by 31 December 2026.
- Dil Koşulları
- English at CEFR B2 or higher is required for admission. SLAM verifies the requirement in one of three official ways: a recognized B2-or-higher certificate issued no more than 3 years before the application date and uploaded during the online application; an English level already certified by SLAM during a University of Milan bachelor's degree within the previous 4 years; or the SLAM English entry test. The MEF application page also states that medium-of-instruction letters are never accepted, even from fully English-taught programmes. If an applicant does not submit a valid certificate or does not meet the required level, they are directed to the SLAM test during admission. For MEF, applicants who fail or miss the SLAM test must submit an accepted certificate to SLAM via InformaStudenti by 31 August 2026. The SLAM test can be taken only once per academic year.
- Sınav / Test
- MEF uses a compulsory online background knowledge test in English to assess personal competencies and skills. The test covers Mathematics and Statistics and Economics and Business/Finance, is multiple choice, lasts 60 minutes, and requires at least 20 correct answers out of 40 to pass, with no penalty for wrong answers. It can be taken only once, and candidates must sit the session to which they are invited. Published 2026 sessions are 16 April 2026 for applicants who applied by 31 March 2026, 13 May 2026 for applicants who applied by 30 April 2026 (the last session available for non-EU visa applicants), 11 June 2026 for applicants who applied by 31 May 2026, and 30 July 2026 for applicants who applied by 20 July 2026. Applicants holding an Italian bachelor's degree with a final score of 105/110 or higher at the date of application are exempt from the written admission test. Candidates who do not sit or do not reach the minimum level are excluded from further evaluation. The Admission Board may also request an oral interview in English via electronic means. Non-EU visa applicants must take the compulsory online admission test by the first available session immediately following the visa-applicant deadline at the latest.
