A.Y. 2027/28. A valid and recognized first-cycle (bachelor) degree, awarded by the end of October 2027. No minimum GPA is required to take part in the selection; the GPA of passed undergraduate exams is evaluated together with the test score and the dossier/motivation by a joint Bocconi-Politecnico di Milano admissions board. Applicants with an Italian bachelor degree: classes L18, L33, L8, L9 and L31 are directly accepted; all other classes need at least 30 CFU in one or more of SECS-P/01-12, SECS-S/01-06, MAT/01-09, INF/01, FIS/02, ING-INF/04-05-06, ING-IND/35 (graduates must meet them by the deadline of their round; students still studying by the end of October 2027). For non-Italian degrees Bocconi publishes no class or credit table; the programme page says a multidisciplinary background (computer science, engineering, management or economics) is ideal.

A.Y. 2027/28. English at least B2 (CEFR); not needed to apply or for the selection, required only in case of admission to complete enrollment. Proof is due by the enrollment deadline and in any case no later than 30 June 2027, otherwise enrollment is cancelled. For this joint degree the proof may be any English requirement accepted by Bocconi for English-taught MSc programmes or any requirement accepted by Politecnico di Milano. Bocconi-accepted proofs: a university qualification (or secondary school diploma) awarded in English; an English exam at B2 level or higher passed in a university course; or a certificate: IELTS Academic (paper, computer, online or One Skill Retake) 6.5 with at least 6 in every section, TOEFL iBT 88, Duolingo English Test 110, Cambridge CAE 173, CPE 180, FCE Grade B or 173, BEC Higher 173, BEC Vantage Grade B or 173. Nationals of majority English-speaking countries (e.g. Australia, Canada, New Zealand) are assumed to meet the requirement. No Italian-language requirement.

The EU deadline shows both routes; the non-EU deadline shows the international route that visa applicants normally follow.
  • The Universitaly pre-enrolment rule for visa applicants (by 30 September of the year of enrollment) comes from Bocconi's immigration page for A.Y. 2026/27; Bocconi has not yet published the 2027/28 version.
  • The fees page shows A.Y. 2026/27 amounts (EUR 18,550 per year for first-year Master of Science students); the 2027/28 amounts are not published yet. Bocconi does not publish a separate fee for this joint degree.
