A.Y. 2027/28: IM Concentration – DD ESSEC Luxury Management is a separate programme choice within Bocconi's standard MSc selection and must be entered as a separate choice in the Apply2B application; about 20 Bocconi places per year. Eligibility: a valid and recognized first-cycle (bachelor) degree obtained by October 2027 (or the first graduation session after the summer break, if later). Candidates holding a French high-school diploma or a French bachelor's degree, and applicants who were rejected by (or refused participation in) ESSEC graduate programmes, are not eligible for the ESSEC double degree. All applicants except Bocconi applicants must provide a GMAT score of at least 600 (555 in the current GMAT format) or an official GRE equivalent with at least 150 in both Quantitative and Verbal by the application deadline; applicants admitted without it (for example with the Bocconi online test) may still enroll if they submit a qualifying score by 30 June 2027. Selection is highly selective and based on a GMAT/GRE or Bocconi online test score, the undergraduate GPA and transcripts (no minimum GPA), the Dossier and Motivation in English and a mandatory recorded video interview; the Admission Committee also assesses intellectual potential, international orientation and motivation. Preference is given to applicants whose undergraduate studies are still underway or were completed less than two years before applying.

The two-foreign-language rule and the English-speaking-country / CEMS / EQUIS-AACSB condition on English-taught diplomas apply to IM CEMS MIM, not to this programme. To meet Bocconi's language requirements during the programme, non-Italian native speakers take Italian A2 and Italian native speakers take French, German or Spanish at B1 Business; this is a course, not an admission requirement.

  • Bocconi has not yet published its A.Y. 2027/28 date for the Universitaly pre-enrolment of visa applicants; its A.Y. 2026/27 page set 30 September of the year of enrollment, and the national final date for A.Y. 2027/28 study-visa applications is 31 October 2027.
  • The EUR 3,710 first instalment for A.Y. 2027/28 is marked 'TBC' by Bocconi, and Bocconi does not say whether the EUR 2,000 special-programme administrative contribution is charged again in the second year.
  • For the English C1 certificate, Bocconi's C1 page gives 23 July 2027 as the deadline, while its results and enrollment page says the end of July 2027; the earlier date is the safer one.
