On 27 September 2026 the ASC joint programme page states that applications are currently on pause (Erasmus Mundus scholarships no longer available); the non-EU (partner-country) self-funded call shows opening and deadline 'TBA' and 'CLOSED'. No Universitaly pre-enrolment date is published for this programme.
Applicants need a first-cycle degree or bachelor's degree, or a foreign qualification recognised as suitable. The official curricular routes are a first-cycle degree in class L-27 Chemical Sciences and Technologies, the former class 21, the Chemistry Eurobachelor, or at least 90 CFU in one or more of the subject areas CHIM/01-12 and ING-IND/21-27. Candidates with foreign degrees are assessed by the Commission on their curriculum, and all applicants must pass the assessment of personal competences.
English proficiency at least at CEFR B2 is required. The programme enrolment page also states a preferred C1 level or an equivalent TOEFL score of 580.
No written entrance exam is published on the allowed Unibo domains. Admission is based on an assessment of personal competences and a programme-wide selection using academic records, scientific background, institution ranking, motivation letter, recommendation letters, English level, practical experience, and awards or grants; a ranking is then automatically generated and reviewed by the Program Board.
