Akademik Koşullar

Applicants must already hold a first-cycle degree, three-year university diploma, or another suitable foreign qualification that gives access to a comparable second-cycle programme. Admission requires at least 48 ECTS in the two modern languages to be continued in the master's programme, with 24 ECTS in the first language and 24 ECTS in the second language, chosen from L-LIN/04, L-LIN/06, L-LIN/07, L-LIN/11, L-LIN/12, L-LIN/14 and L-LIN/21 (Russian only). Credits in L-LIN/06 and L-LIN/11 count only when they are language, linguistics or translation courses and not literature courses; candidates with credits in those sectors must submit the relevant course syllabi. For Italian qualifications, a final bachelor's grade of at least 105/110 is required. Applicants who have not yet graduated cannot apply for this programme.

Dil Koşulları

English proficiency at CEFR B2 is required. The requirement is deemed fulfilled through the curricular language background in L-LIN/12 and L-LIN/11 when those credits refer to language and linguistics rather than literature. For applicants with fewer than 24 ECTS in L-LIN/11 and L-LIN/12, and for all applicants with a foreign degree, B2 must be shown through a recognised certificate or the Oxford Online Placement Test before the admission deadline. Accepted proof includes IELTS Academic or General Training with at least 5.5, TOEFL iBT at least 80, Cambridge B1 Preliminary with 160 grade A, Cambridge B2 First with 160 grade C, Cambridge C1 Advanced with 160, Cambridge C2 Proficiency with 180, Cambridge Business certificates at the published thresholds, Trinity ISE II/III/IV, specified IGCSE English certificates, or CLA or other Italian university self-certification at B2 or above. Citizens of an English-speaking country and applicants holding a foreign degree from an institution in an English-speaking country are exempt from further proof.

Sınav / Test

There is no written admission test. The committee first checks that the qualification, curricular requirements and language requirements are met, then calls admitted applicants to an individual online interview on Microsoft Teams. The interview is held in one of the two foreign languages chosen for the programme, provided it is not English, and assesses prior studies, any Erasmus or other study-abroad experience, internships or work experience, and motivation for applying. Candidates are declared either suitable or unsuitable.
