- Akademik Koşullar
- Applicants must hold a first-cycle degree or another qualification obtained abroad that is recognised as suitable for second-cycle admission in Italy. Curricular eligibility is met either with a first-cycle degree in class L-42 History (or equivalent under the previous system) or with another degree plus at least 30 ECTS in the subject groups listed in the official notice, covering the programme's historical, geographical, anthropological, political, sociological, philosophical, and area-studies fields. Applicants who have not yet graduated may apply only if they still need to complete the final examination, have a weighted average of at least 27.14/30, and obtain the degree by 2026-12-31.
- Dil Koşulları
- English proficiency at a minimum of CEFR B2 is required. The call accepts a language certificate listed in Annex 1, a self-declaration by native speakers, or certification from the awarding university that the applicant completed a bachelor's or master's degree taught entirely in English.
- Sınav / Test
- There is no written entrance exam. Admission requires verification of personal competencies and skills. For candidates with an Italian qualification, this requirement is automatically satisfied with a final grade of at least 100/110; for graduating applicants, it is satisfied with a weighted average of at least 27.14/30. Candidates with a recognised foreign qualification may be called to an online interview in English on Microsoft Teams.

- Transcript of records showing completed exams and grades; graduating applicants must also show the weighted average mark.
- English-language certificate or one of the officially accepted alternatives.
- Valid identity document; if the document is not in Italian or English, a translated copy is required.
- For applicants with a foreign qualification: the qualification documents required for recognition under the University of Bologna and Universitaly procedures.
- For visa/pre-enrolment where applicable: Universitaly pre-enrolment and the documentation requested by the Italian Embassy or Consulate.
- For matriculation: a passport-style photo uploaded in Studenti Online.
