A.Y. 2026/27: a first-cycle (three-year) university degree or diploma, or a qualification obtained abroad recognised as suitable. Curricular requirements: an Italian degree in class L-7 Civil and environmental engineering, L-8 Information technology engineering, L-9 Industrial engineering, L-27 Chemistry, L-30 Physics, L-32 Environmental sciences, L-34 Earth sciences or L-35 Mathematics (D.M. 270/04); or class 7, 8, 9, 10, 16, 21, 25 or 27 (D.M. 509/99); or a pre-reform four-year degree in Engineering (all), Physics, Chemistry, Geology, Biology or Environmental Sciences. The examination board may recognise other degrees if the applicant has at least 12 CFU in PHYS-01/A (FIS/01) or PHYS-06/A (FIS/07), at least 12 CFU in MATH (MAT), at least 6 CFU in GEOS (GEO) and at least 6 CFU in INFO-01/A (INF/01) or IINF-05/A (ING-INF/05). Foreign qualifications: the board assesses equivalence on the curricular contents, which must include exams giving basic knowledge of classical physics and mathematical analysis and knowledge of computing and programming; applicants with a qualification from a European Higher Education Area country submit the Diploma Supplement certifying at least three years of studies, 180 ECTS and STEM learning (programme page). No minimum graduation grade is stated. Applicants who do not meet all the curricular requirements cannot enrol. Applicants not yet graduated may apply; if admitted, the degree must be obtained by 31 December 2026, otherwise the enrolment is cancelled.

Applicants must have English at CEFR B2. The programme accepts a valid international certificate, another official proof listed on the programme page, or participation in the programme's internal language assessment dates if the applicant does not already hold accepted certification.

Sınav / değerlendirme

There is no separate written entrance exam in the official sources reviewed. Admission is based on a committee evaluation of the submitted documents and the candidate's academic background. The board may decide that an online interview is needed when personal preparation has to be assessed further.

• Front and back copy of a valid identity document; citizens of a foreign country whose identity document has no English translation upload a copy of their passport

• University of Bologna graduates or graduating students: the self-certification of the Unibo career proposed by Studenti Online (or a document certifying the qualification)

• Qualification obtained at another Italian university: self-certification of the first-cycle degree with the list of exams taken (not yet graduated: self-certification of the exams taken)
