- Applicants must hold a first-cycle degree, single-cycle degree, old-order four-year degree, or equivalent foreign qualification considered suitable for access. The standard qualifying Italian degree classes are L-5, L-6, L-11, L-12, L-14, L-16, L-18, L-20, L-33, L-36, L-37, L-40, L-41, L-42 and L-DS. Applicants with another degree class may still apply if they have at least 32 CFU/ECTS in the required disciplinary areas, including the listed political science, economics, statistics, geography, area studies, history, anthropology, philosophy, law and informatics sectors. Applicants with foreign or pre-reform qualifications are assessed by the committee on the basis of previous studies and curricular fit. Applicants who have not yet graduated may apply if they have at least 140 CFU by the application deadline and obtain the qualifying degree by 2026-12-31.

- English proficiency at CEFR B2 is required. Accepted proof includes the certificates listed in the University Language Centre equivalency table, TOEFL computer-based at least 213, TOEFL paper-based at least 550, Trinity GESE 8, IELTS at least 5-6.5, a B2 certificate or self-certification from an Italian university language centre, or a university degree taught entirely in English.
- Sınav / Test
- There is no separate written entrance exam. Selection is based on evaluation of the application dossier and titles. The committee assigns points for academic merit, congruence of prior credits in the listed disciplinary sectors, additional language competences, and other relevant academic, international or professional activities. Personal preparation is considered passed with a score of at least 60/100, and eligible candidates are ranked for the available places.

- First-cycle degree certificate, transcript of records, or list of passed exams with grades, SSDs, weighted average and final degree mark if already awarded.
- For foreign qualifications: the foreign degree certificate translated into Italian or English, with transcript of records and Diploma Supplement where available; if not yet graduated, the transcript of passed exams.
- For qualifications from another Italian university: self-certification of the first-cycle degree with the list of passed exams, or self-certification of passed exams if not yet graduated.
- Transcript of records for Erasmus credits not yet registered, together with the related Learning Agreement correspondences, if those credits are needed to reach 140 CFU.
- Completed and signed application form or self-certification module required by the call.
- Proof of English language knowledge at B2 level.
- Any additional language certificates or other titles the applicant wants evaluated for ranking points.
- Any certificates of professional or internship experiences related to the political-economic and international-relations sector.
- Copy of a valid identity document.
- Copy of a residence permit, if held by a non-EU applicant.
