Kampüs

VERIFIED — the historic CITY-CENTRE campus of the Department of Political Sciences, NOT any of the outlying Federico II sites. It is NOT Monte Sant'Angelo, NOT Policlinico, NOT Portici, NOT San Giovanni a Teduccio and NOT Frullone. This answers the research brief's "campus: to be verified". PRIMARY ADDRESS: Dipartimento di Scienze Politiche, Via Leopoldo Rodino 22, Napoli. Three independent official confirmations: (a) the orientation portal's "Directions / Department" field gives "Via Leopoldo Rodino 22, 80133 Napoli"; (b) the Department's own programme page gives "Main Offices: Via Leopoldo Rodino 22, 80138 Naples"; (c) the central unina.it course record gives "Sede: Via Leopoldo Rodino 22, 80138 Napoli" and locates the departmental library "Biblioteca Dipartimento di Scienze Politiche 'G. Cuomo'" at the same address. (The two postcodes conflict — see uncertainty_notes; 80138 is given by two sources including the central record and is the postcode of Corso Umberto I, so 80138 is the safer value.) THE DEPARTMENT OPERATES ACROSS THREE ADJACENT CITY-CENTRE BUILDINGS, and the 2026/2027 International Relations timetable uses all three. Mapping the rooms in the official first-semester timetable against the Department's official classroom directory ("Nome Aula / Ubicazione"): AULA SPINELLI (Aula 1 'Altiero Spinelli', 110 seats) = "VIA RODINO 22 - CORTILE INTERNO" (internal courtyard) — this is the main room for the first-year common route; AULA 2 (Adolfo Omodeo, 90 seats) = "VIA RODINO 22 - 1. PIANO"; AULA 7 (80 seats) = "CHIOSTRO SAN MARCELLINO - 3. PIANO"; AULA G1 and AULA G4 (60 seats each) = "CHIOSTRO SAN MARCELLINO"; AULA PAGANO (36 seats) = "CHIOSTRO SAN MARCELLINO"; AULA M7 / M8 / M2 / M4 = "VIA MEZZOCANNONE 8 - 4. PIANO". So a student on this degree moves between Via Leopoldo Rodino 22, the Chiostro dei SS. Marcellino e Festo (Largo San Marcellino) and Via Mezzocannone 8 — all within a few hundred metres of each other in the university quarter of central Naples, near Corso Umberto I. The Department's own footer lists its two seats as "via Rodino 22, Napoli" and "Chiostro dei SS. Marcellino e Festo, Napoli". OTHER RELEVANT ADDRESSES: STUDENT RECORDS OFFICE — "Segreteria Studenti Area didattica Scienze Politiche", Via Leopoldo Rodino 30/32, 80138 Napoli (open Mon-Fri 09:00-12:00, Tue and Thu also 14:30-16:30; segrescienzepol@unina.it; PEC segrescienzepol@pec.unina.it; tel. 081-2538300 / 081-2531092). TEACHING OFFICE (Ufficio per la Didattica): Via Leopoldo Rodino 22, 3rd floor staircase B, rooms 61-63 (open Tue and Thu 10:00-12:00 and 14:30-16:30). ADMISSION INTERVIEW VENUES USED IN PAST YEARS: "Aula 8, via Leopoldo Rodino n.30, piano terra" (ground floor, next to the student office) and the "Sala del Consiglio" (council chamber, top floor). LANGUAGE LAB: Laboratorio linguistico multimediale "Edwige Schulte", via Mezzocannone 8, 5th floor. TIMETABLE PATTERN: "Teaching takes place from Monday to Friday, from 08:30 a.m. to 06:30 p.m.. However, efforts are made to concentrate the MSc International Relations lectures over 3 or 4 days."

Kabul Tipi

NOT NUMERUS CLAUSUS AND NOT PLAIN OPEN ACCESS — the official classification on the orientation portal fact-sheet is "Admission: Verifica di preparazione" (verification of preparation), i.e. access is unlimited in number but conditional on passing a COMPULSORY, individually-scheduled ENGLISH-LANGUAGE INTERVIEW plus a curricular-credit check. There is no ranking list, no score-based competition and no seat cap; every candidate who meets the curricular requirements and passes the interview can enrol. Federico II reserves the label "Libero" (free) for degrees with no gate at all, and this programme is deliberately NOT labelled that way. THE PROCEDURE HAS THREE COMPONENTS. (1) CURRICULAR REQUIREMENT CHECK — automatic for holders of an Italian L-16 or L-36 bachelor; a documentary evaluation of the transcript for everyone else (see academic_requirements). (2) COMPULSORY VERIFICATION OF PERSONAL PREPARATION — Didactic Regulations Art. 5, c. 2: "Verification of personal preparation is always mandatory, and only students who meet the curricular requirements can access it." Note the ordering: you must clear the credit gate BEFORE you are allowed to sit the verification. (3) COMPULSORY ENGLISH INTERVIEW — a "special pre-enrolment interview" (colloquio di verifica della conoscenza della lingua inglese) held on fixed dates announced by the Department (see entry_exam_or_test). ROUTE FOR ITALIAN / EU APPLICANTS: register for the interview by e-mail to the Orientation Desk, sit the interview, then matriculate through the ordinary University enrolment procedure at the Segreteria Studenti Area didattica Scienze Politiche. Italian applicants whose bachelor is not L-16/L-36 are told to get their transcript pre-checked: "Italian students interested in enrolling in the MA in International Relations are required to meet specific credit requirements in certain subject areas. For personalised guidance on whether your undergraduate degree meets these requirements, please contact Dr. Erminia Morone at erminia.morone@unina.it before submitting your application." ROUTE FOR NON-EU APPLICANTS RESIDING ABROAD: compulsory pre-enrolment on the ministerial UNIVERSITALY portal naming Federico II and this programme, with a pre-acceptance letter from the Programme Coordinator, then a study visa, then matriculation in Naples. NON-EU APPLICANTS ALREADY LEGALLY RESIDENT IN ITALY OR THE EU are treated like EU applicants and do NOT pre-enrol on Universitaly. THE PROGRAMME-SPECIFIC APPLICATION PROCESS FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS IS ROUTED OFF UNINA.IT. Both the official orientation portal and the Department's own page hand international applicants over to an EXTERNAL DOMAIN, www.international-relations.net, which is not under unina.it: the orientation portal's "Admission and prerequisites" block ends with "Admission procedures for international students : Admission | International Relations | Italia (international-relations.net)" hyperlinked to https://www.international-relations.net/admission, and its "Application timeline" block says international applications "are examined on a rolling basis and results should be made known according to the calendar provided within the call for the admission at the following link: Admission | International Relations | Italia (international-relations.net)". Under this research task's unina.it-only source restriction that external call was NOT opened and NOTHING in this record is sourced from it — so the exact international application form, its rolling-review calendar and any programme-specific application fee or document list could not be verified. See uncertainty_notes.

Resmî Eğitim Dili

ENGLISH — 100% English-taught, and this is not merely a marketing claim but a legally binding clause of the programme's Didactic Regulations, because the English requirement is justified precisely by the delivery language. DIRECT EVIDENCE: (1) the official orientation portal fact-sheet header records "Language ENG" (a single value; other Federico II courses in the same catalogue show "IT/ENG"); (2) the Didactic Regulations of the Degree Program (Art. 4, c. 1) state "...have at least a B2 level of English that will be evaluated through a special pre-registration interview. This requirement is mandatory for the admission, since all the courses will be entirely taught in English."; (3) Art. 5, c. 3 repeats "Since this is a Degree Course whose teaching activities will be delivered entirely in English, this requirement is mandatory for admission."; (4) the central unina.it record states the same in its "Conoscenze richieste per l'accesso" section; (5) the entire official 2026/2027 Study Plan is published with every course title in English; (6) the thesis must be written in English — "the passing of the final test which involves the discussion of a written thesis, drafted in English in an original way by the student". A dedicated 6-CFU first-year course "Academic English" (SSD 10/ANGL-01) is built into the common route, and the Didactic Regulations add "Further refinement of English with advanced instruction aimed at using the language in an international relations context is possibly planned." ITALIAN IS NOT REQUIRED — neither at admission nor, on the evidence available on unina.it, to graduate: unlike some other Federico II English-taught degrees (e.g. Data Science), NO unina.it page for International Relations attaches an Italian-language CLA certificate to the "other training activities" (TAF F) credits. The 6-CFU TAF F slot is described neutrally as "additional language skills, seminars, workshops, observatories, internships, and other activities designed to support entry into the labour market". THE ONE REAL LANGUAGE COMPLICATION IS A THIRD LANGUAGE, NOT ITALIAN : both the Didactic Regulations and the central unina.it record state that "the study of an additional non-EU language (Chinese or Arabic) is planned during the course", and the orientation portal says "in their second year (once, again, for both curricula), students can choose between two foreign languages (Arabic or Chinese)". HOWEVER, the binding a.y. 2026/2027 Study Plan PDF contains NO Arabic or Chinese course in either curriculum — the only language course listed anywhere is the first-year Academic English. Either the Arabic/Chinese requirement has been quietly absorbed into the free-choice (D) or additional (F) slots, or it has been dropped and the Regulations/SUA text is stale. Applicants counting on learning Arabic or Chinese inside the degree should confirm with the coordinator before enrolling. SECOND, SMALLER CAVEAT: the elective (TAF D) slot allows students to "freely choose from among the courses offered by the University" — courses taken from Italian-taught degrees would obviously be delivered in Italian, but the three electives the Department itself recommends (International food and agricultural policy, International marketing, Global environmental politics) are all listed under English titles in the English Study Plan.

  • THERE IS NO SINGLE PROGRAMME-SPECIFIC APPLICATION DEADLINE PUBLISHED ON UNINA.IT FOR EU (AND EU-EQUIVALENT) CANDIDATES — instead there are THREE overlapping date sets, and the programme's own consolidated application calendar for international candidates is published off unina.it (see uncertainty_notes). (A) THE OPERATIVE PROGRAMME-LEVEL DEADLINE FOR A.Y. 2026/2027 IS THE ENGLISH-INTERVIEW REGISTRATION WINDOW: 1 Eylül 2026 to 14 Eylül 2026, with the interview itself on 16 Eylül 2026 at 14:30 — "Le iscrizioni per il colloquio ... dovranno essere effettuate dal 1° settembre al 14 settembre 2026", by e-mail to scienzepolitiche.orienta@unina.it. Because the interview is compulsory and precedes enrolment, missing this window means waiting for the (not yet published) second session. In earlier years the Department ran later sittings — 29 November 2023 for a.y. 2023/24, 18 December 2024 for a.y. 2024/25, 21 May 2026 for a.y. 2025/26 (registration by 20 May 2026) — so a second 2026/27 date is likely but is not yet on unina.it. (B) QUALIFICATION EVALUATION FOR EU APPLICANTS WITH A FOREIGN DEGREE — no fixed date: "you have to send your academic documents to the Coordinator of the course you wish to enrol in to find out whether you meet the enrolment requirements" (international.unina.it). Italian applicants outside L-16/L-36 are told to contact Dr. Erminia Morone "before submitting your application". Do this as early as possible — it precedes both the interview and enrolment. (C) UNIVERSITY ENROLMENT (MATRICULATION) CALENDAR FOR A.Y. 2026/2027, from the binding 'Guida all'iscrizione Anno accademico 2026-27', which governs Italian and EU students alike: 16 Temmuz 2026 ordinary immatriculation period opens ("16 LUGLIO 2026 - Inizio periodo ordinario immatricolazione"; the instalment table specifies "Dal 16 luglio (immatricolazioni L o iscrizioni I anno LM)", i.e. first-year master's enrolments open on this date)
  • 1 Eylül 2026 ordinary period opens for transfers and course changes
  • 2 Kasım 2026 ORDINARY DEADLINE for immatriculation and for enrolment in later years, and the deadline for the ISEEU income data to be drawn from the INPS database

AB / AEA dışı adaylar

FOR NON-EU APPLICANTS RESIDING ABROAD, the ministry-driven three-date pipeline for a.y. 2026/2027 published by the University applies, BUT the programme's own admission calendar for international candidates is published off unina.it and could not be verified (see uncertainty_notes). THE UNIVERSITY-LEVEL DATES, from the official booklet 'Information for non-EU students with residency abroad - Admission to Degree Programmes at University of Naples Federico II 2026/2027' and repeated on international.unina.it: 15 Haziran 2026 PRE-ENROLMENT APPLICATION DEADLINE on the UNIVERSITALY portal — "JUNE 15 2026 — Pre-enrolment application deadline to University of Naples Federico II. After this date no programme changes are permitted. After this date pre-enrolment is allowed to the programmes with restricted access only." THIS IS THE OPERATIVE DEADLINE FOR THIS PROGRAMME: International Relations is classified "Verifica di preparazione", not restricted access, so its non-EU pre-enrolment window closes on 15 June 2026 and does not reopen. 30 Kasım 2026 deadline for lodging the study-visa application at an Italian Embassy/Consulate — "NOV 30 2026 — Deadline for submitting the visa application at Italian Embassies/Consulates". 31 Ocak 2027 deadline for completing matriculation in Naples — "JAN 31 2027 — Deadline for completing enrolment at University of Naples Federico II. After this date students who are not officially enrolled according to ministerial regulations will have their visa revoked, and Italian police authorities will be notified." (The same booklet's Matriculation page mistypes this as "31 January 2026"; the Deadlines page and the ministerial rule both give 31 January 2027.) SEQUENCING ADVICE FROM THE UNIVERSITY: "It is advisable to obtain the admission to your chosen programme before applying on Universitaly. Otherwise, if you have already submitted your pre-enrolment application on Universitaly, a dedicated team will forward your documents for evaluation. In this case, processing times may be longer." So secure the Coordinator's pre-acceptance letter well before 15 June. ONE-SHOT WARNING: "I have cancelled my Universitaly application to the University of Naples Federico II. Can I apply again to the same University? No, you cannot. If you cancel your application on Universitaly, you cannot reapply to the same University for the same academic year." Programme changes inside a live application are allowed only within the pre-enrolment deadline. NON-EU APPLICANTS ALREADY LEGALLY RESIDENT IN ITALY OR THE EU are treated like EU applicants — they "have unrestricted access to university courses", do not pre-enrol on Universitaly, and follow the calendar in application_deadline_eu. WHY THIS FIELD IS UNCERTAIN: the orientation portal states that for international students "applications are examined on a rolling basis and results should be made known according to the calendar provided within the call for the admission" and links that call to https://www.international-relations.net/admission — an external domain that this research task's source restriction forbade opening. So the programme's own rolling-review dates, any earlier internal application cut-off, and how the compulsory English interview is scheduled for overseas candidates are NOT verified here. Non-EU applicants should treat 15 June 2026 (for 2027/28: the equivalent June date) as the hard ministerial ceiling and contact scienzepolitiche.orienta@unina.it / pietro.maffettone@unina.it for the programme-side calendar. NOTE ON TIMING AS AT 30 Ağustos 2026: the 15 June 2026 non-EU pre-enrolment deadline for a.y. 2026/2027 HAS ALREADY PASSED, so a non-EU reader must target a.y. 2027/2028 and re-check the corresponding booklet when it is published.

Kabul koşulları

Akademik geçmiş
  • Seats (total): NO SEAT CAP PUBLISHED — the programme is not a "corso a numero programmato". Its official admission classification is "Verifica di preparazione", which under Federico II's taxonomy means an entry check without a numerical limit, as opposed to "Programmato" (capped). Three corroborating facts: (1) no unina.it page for International Relations LM-52 / LM-52e states a number of places, a ranking, or a cut-off
  • (2) the University's central index of admission calls for capped courses (https://www.unina.it/didattica/offerta-didattica/corsi-a-numero-programmato/bandi-di-ammissione, tabs Triennali / Magistrali / Magistrali a ciclo unico) does not list International Relations — as of 30 Ağustos 2026 that page returned "Al momento non sono pervenuti nuovi contenuti" (no content currently available) for the current cycle
  • (3) the Didactic Regulations, Art. 5 c. 1, treat any capping as an exception imposed from outside — "The CCD of the Degree Program normally regulates the admission criteria and any scheduling of enrolments, except in the case subject to different provisions of law", with a footnote pointing to L. 264/1999 (the national numerus clausus law) which does not cover LM-52. PRACTICAL CONSEQUENCE: there is no competitive cut-off to beat and no risk of being ranked out; the only gates are the 48+12 CFU curricular check and the English interview. MARKED UNCERTAIN ONLY BECAUSE A NULL IS BEING REPORTED RATHER THAN A NUMBER, and because the absence of a cap is inferred from the "Verifica di preparazione" label plus the absence of the course from the numero-programmato index, rather than from an explicit statement that places are unlimited. Note also that classroom capacity is a soft practical constraint: the main first-year room, Aula 1 'Altiero Spinelli', seats 110. | Seats (non-EU reserved): NONE PUBLISHED — because the course has no seat cap, no unina.it page states a reserved sub-quota of places for non-EU applicants residing abroad, and no per-country reservation (such as the China-track quotas Federico II publishes for some capped courses) exists for this programme. with two caveats. (1) Italian universities must still declare an annual contingent of visa places for non-EU applicants on the ministerial UNIVERSITALY portal even for uncapped courses, and that per-course figure is published on universitaly.it rather than on unina.it, so it could not be verified within the unina.it-only source restriction imposed by this research task. (2) unina.it does publish a hard DATE-BASED constraint that functions as a de facto cut-off for non-EU candidates: after the 15 June 2026 Universitaly pre-enrolment deadline, "pre-enrolment is allowed to the programmes with restricted access only" — and International Relations is NOT a restricted-access programme, so its non-EU pre-enrolment window closes on 15 June and does not reopen. Applicants should check the International Relations entry on universitaly.it for the current academic year, or write to pre-enrolment@unina.it (put the programme name and your pre-application number in the subject line).

  • ENGLISH AT CEFR B2 OR ABOVE — a mandatory, non-waivable admission condition, VERIFIED BY A LIVE INTERVIEW rather than purely on paper. This is the distinguishing feature of this programme's admission: where most Federico II English-taught degrees accept a certificate as sufficient proof, LM-52e requires candidates to sit a compulsory oral verification. THE BINDING WORDINGS: central unina.it record, "Accesso al Corso: Laurea di 1° livello e conoscenza della lingua inglese almeno di livello B2"
  • Didactic Regulations Art. 4, "...have at least a B2 level of English that will be evaluated through a special pre-registration interview. This requirement is mandatory for the admission, since all the courses will be entirely taught in English."
  • Didactic Regulations Art. 5 c. 3, "...possess a certified knowledge of English at least level B2, which will be assessed through a special pre-registration interview."
Sınav / değerlendirme
  • YES — THERE IS A COMPULSORY ADMISSION INTERVIEW, but it is a LANGUAGE-PROFICIENCY INTERVIEW, NOT a competitive written exam. There is NO TOLC, NO SAT, NO GRE/GMAT, NO written admission test, NO portfolio and NO ranked selection. The official name is "colloquio obbligatorio per la verifica della conoscenza della lingua inglese" (compulsory interview to verify knowledge of the English language), described in the Didactic Regulations as "a special pre-registration interview" / "special pre-enrollment interview". A SECOND, DOCUMENTARY GATE runs alongside it: the compulsory "verification of personal preparation", which is an evaluation of the applicant's previous university career, not a sit-down exam. OFFICIAL DATE AND REGISTRATION WINDOW FOR A.Y. 2026/2027 (published on unina.it by the Department of Political Sciences, page "CALENDARIO PROVE DI ACCESSO AI CORSI DI LAUREA TRIENNALI E MAGISTRALI - I PROVA", A.A. 2026/2027 - I PROVA): "INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS LM-52e — COLLOQUIO OBBLIGATORIO PER LA VERIFICA DELLA CONOSCENZA DELLA LINGUA INGLESE — Il colloquio si svolgera il giorno 16 settembre 2026 alle ore 14.30. Le iscrizioni per il colloquio del 25 settembre dovranno essere effettuate dal 1° settembre al 14 settembre 2026. La modalita di iscrizione consiste nell'invio di un messaggio di posta elettronica all'indirizzo mail scienzepolitiche.orienta@unina.it con i propri dati." NORMALISED: INTERVIEW 16 Eylül 2026 at 14:30
  • REGISTRATION 1 Eylül 2026 to 14 Eylül 2026
  • REGISTER BY E-MAIL to scienzepolitiche.orienta@unina.it with your personal details. The same official notice contains an internal date contradiction — the heading date is "16 settembre 2026" but the registration sentence refers to "il colloquio del 25 settembre"; the 25 September figure appears to be an un-updated leftover. Confirm the exact sitting date with the Orientation Desk (tel. 0812538249). "I PROVA" (first session) in the page title implies a SECOND SESSION will be announced later in the year; as of 30 Ağustos 2026 no "II PROVA" calendar had been published on unina.it. EVIDENCE THAT LATER SESSIONS ARE ROUTINE: the Department has published separate interview notices in past years at very different points of the year — a.y. 2023/2024: "29 novembre 2023 ore 12.00 - Sala del Consiglio - ultimo piano"; a.y. 2024/2025: "18 dicembre 2024 ore 11.30"; a.y. 2025/2026: "21 maggio 2026 ore 14.00 - Aula 8, via Leopoldo Rodino n.30, piano terra", with "Le iscrizioni per il colloquio dovranno essere effettuate entro il 20 maggio 2026" and registration by e-mail to erminia.morone@unina.it. So sittings have been held in May, November and December as well as September, and registration has been handled sometimes by the Orientation Desk mailbox and sometimes by Dr. Morone directly. WARNING ISSUED WITH THE 2026/27 CALENDAR: "ATTENZIONE - COLORO CHE NON HANNO SOSTENUTO IL TEST NEI PRECEDENTI ANNI E NEI TEMPI PREVISTI, SONO OBBLIGATI A PARTECIPARE AI TEST CHE SI SVOLGERANNO A SETTEMBRE 2026 INSIEME AGLI IMMATRICOLANDI ALL'A.A. 2026/2027" — anyone who missed the test in earlier years must sit the September 2026 session together with the new intake. ACCESSIBILITY: candidates with a disability, an invalidity certified under Law 104/1992 or a certified specific learning disorder (DSA) under Law 170/2010 may request aids, compensatory measures and extra time; for a.y. 2026/2027 such requests had to be sent by 28 August 2026 at 14:00 to dip.scienze-poltiche@unina.it and supporto.sinapsi@unina.it. NO PASS MARK, NO RANKING and no published assessment rubric for the interview appear on any unina.it page — the interview is described only as "aimed at evaluating the candidates English language skills". FOR NON-EU APPLICANTS ABROAD the equivalent gate is the Programme Coordinator's PRE-ACCEPTANCE LETTER: "A pre-acceptance letter certifies your eligibility for the selected degree programme. It is issued by the Programme Coordinator following an evaluation of the documents you have submitted." No unina.it page states whether an overseas candidate sits the English interview remotely, is assessed on documents alone, or is handled through the external international-relations.net admission process.

  • NO PROGRAMME-SPECIFIC DOCUMENT CHECKLIST IS PUBLISHED ON UNINA.IT. The Department's page carries an "| Admission" menu with the entries "Applications / Call for Admission" and "Administrative Documents / Enrollment Forms / Recognition Of Academic Title - Request Form", but on inspection "Call for Admission" and "Recognition Of Academic Title - Request Form" are rendered as underlined text with NO hyperlink at all, and "Enrollment Forms" points to a text-fragment anchor ("#:~:text=Admin%20Forms%20English%20Version") to a section that does not exist in the served page. The list below is therefore assembled from University-level sources plus the departmental forms library. (1) TO REGISTER FOR THE COMPULSORY ENGLISH INTERVIEW: simply an e-mail with your personal details — "La modalita di iscrizione consiste nell'invio di un messaggio di posta elettronica all'indirizzo mail scienzepolitiche.orienta@unina.it con i propri dati" (a.y. 2026/2027 window 1-14 September 2026). In a.y. 2025/26 the same registration went to erminia.morone@unina.it. No fee and no form are mentioned. (2) FOR THE CURRICULAR/CREDIT CHECK: the Department's official form "Accesso Lauree Magistrali" (https://www.unina.it/documents/11958/24804618/SPOL_AccessoLM.doc), plus a complete transcript showing, for each exam, the grade, the number of CFU and the SSD (scientific-disciplinary sector), so the 48+12 CFU count against the L-36 ministerial table can be made. Related departmental forms: "Riconoscimento crediti CFU" (credit recognition), "Domanda di iscrizione a corsi singoli" (single course units, for making up missing credits), "Scelta curriculum" (choice of second-year curriculum). (3) ENGLISH PROFICIENCY: an official B2-or-higher certificate — the Regulations require "certified knowledge of English at least level B2" and the orientation portal says "Knowledge of the English language should be officially certified". No accepted-certificate list is published. (4) FOR NON-EU PRE-ENROLMENT ON UNIVERSITALY (uploaded as PDF), Master's track: Transcript of Records (ToR); Final degree certificate; Detailed course descriptions; Additional documents "e.g. language certificates, motivation letter, reference letters"; PRE-ACCEPTANCE LETTER FROM THE PROGRAMME COORDINATOR; and "DoV or CIMEA both Statement of comparability and verification". Plus, in the application form itself, personal details exactly as on the passport, and the Embassy/Consulate where the visa will be requested. The Italian tax code may be left blank at this stage but is required for enrolment. (5) QUALIFICATION-RECOGNITION DOCUMENTS (mandatory at enrolment): a Declaration of Value released by an Italian Embassy/Consulate — or, as an alternative, CIMEA Statement of Comparability AND Statement of Verification (jointly, https://cimea-diplome.it/). If the qualification comes from a European Higher Education Area / Bologna Process country: a DIPLOMA SUPPLEMENT accompanied by a CIMEA Statement of Verification. Holders of qualifications from Lisbon Recognition Convention signatory countries may use CIMEA's ARDI platform for a Statement of Correspondence plus a Statement of Verification. "At the enrolment stage, the above-mentioned documents are mandatory and must accompany the submitted/declared academic qualifications." (6) TO TAKE TO THE ITALIAN EMBASSY: the Universitaly pre-enrolment summary validated by the University; any language competence certificates; the visa-application documents including a health insurance policy; the foreign-qualification documents. Visa financial requirement: means of subsistence of 10,179.85 EUR per year, funds for repatriation, suitable accommodation and adequate medical insurance. (7) FOR ENROLMENT (MATRICULATION) AT THE STUDENT OFFICE — international students: copy of passport; application form; 1 passport photo; Italian tax code (codice fiscale); residence permit or proof of having applied for it; Declaration of Value or ENIC-NARIC/CIMEA certificate. "Important: always check the instructions on the degree programme's website." (8) FOR EU/ITALIAN ENROLMENT: the ordinary Federico II online procedure via www.segrepass.unina.it, followed by delivery of the printed plico, a passport photo, a photocopy of a valid identity document and — if the bachelor was taken elsewhere — a self-certification under D.P.R. 445/2000 of the degree and full exam list. Enquiries and paperwork: Segreteria Studenti Area didattica Scienze Politiche, Via Leopoldo Rodino 30/32, 80138 Napoli, segrescienzepol@unina.it. (9) ACCESSIBILITY REQUESTS (disability / invalidity / DSA) for the admission interview: send the departmental request form to dip.scienze-poltiche@unina.it and supporto.sinapsi@unina.it (deadline for a.y. 2026/2027 first session: 28 August 2026, 14:00). WHY UNCERTAIN: because the definitive international application document list is behind the external international-relations.net "Admission" page that this task's source restriction excluded, an additional programme-specific item (e.g. a motivation letter, CV or reference letters as a formal requirement rather than an "e.g.") may exist and is not captured here.

  • 1) THE HEADLINE ISSUE FLAGGED IN THE RESEARCH BRIEF IS CONFIRMED: THE APPLICATION PROCESS FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS IS ROUTED OFF UNINA.IT, TO www.international-relations.net . This is not a rumour — it is stated on official unina.it pages. The orientation portal (orientamento.unina.it) ends its "Admission and prerequisites" section with "Admission procedures for international students : Admission | International Relations | Italia (international-relations.net)", hyperlinked in the page source to https://www.international-relations.net/admission ; its "Application timeline" section says international applications "are examined on a rolling basis and results should be made known according to the calendar provided within the call for the admission at the following link", pointing to the same external page; and BOTH the Department page and the central unina.it course record state "The educational offer is also available on the website in English dedicated to the Study Program (https://www.international-relations.net/)". The Department's own programme page even carries a menu block headed "| Admission — Applications — Call for Admission", but "Call for Admission" is rendered in the page source as underlined text with NO hyperlink, so on unina.it it leads nowhere. IN COMPLIANCE WITH THIS TASK'S SOURCE RESTRICTION (unina.it official pages only), international-relations.net WAS NOT OPENED and NOTHING in this record is sourced from it. Consequently the following are NOT verified: the exact international application form and portal; the rolling-review calendar and any internal application cut-off dates; whether an application fee exists; whether overseas candidates sit the English interview remotely or are assessed on documents; and any programme-specific document checklist. These gaps are why application_deadline_eu, application_deadline_non_eu, required_documents, admission_type and official_call_url are marked [uncertain]. A separate practical caution for applicants: international-relations.net is NOT a unina.it domain, so before entering personal data or making any payment there, verify through an unina.it channel (scienzepolitiche.orienta@unina.it, erminia.morone@unina.it or the coordinator pietro.maffettone@unina.it) that the site is the University's official channel — the unina.it links above are evidence that the University points to it, but the University's own admission acts are the ones on unina.it. 2) INTERNAL DATE CONTRADICTION IN THE OFFICIAL 2026/2027 ADMISSION NOTICE — the DiSP access-test calendar sets the International Relations LM-52e English interview for "16 settembre 2026 alle ore 14.30" but then says "Le iscrizioni per il colloquio del 25 settembre dovranno essere effettuate dal 1° settembre al 14 settembre 2026". The 25 September reference appears to be an un-updated leftover. Confirm the exact date with the Orientation Desk (tel. 0812538249). 3) ONLY THE FIRST SESSION IS PUBLISHED — the calendar is explicitly headed "I PROVA" (first session), and no "II PROVA" page had appeared on unina.it as of 30 Ağustos 2026. Past years show the Department also runs late-autumn/winter and even spring sittings (29 Nov 2023, 18 Dec 2024, 21 May 2026), so a second 2026/27 session is likely but unconfirmed. 4) REGISTRATION MAILBOX HAS CHANGED BETWEEN YEARS — the 2025/26 notice took interview registrations at erminia.morone@unina.it, the 2026/27 calendar at scienzepolitiche.orienta@unina.it. Use the 2026/27 address and copy the other if unsure. 5) CURRICULUM NAMES ARE OUT OF DATE ON THE ORIENTATION PORTAL — it says the two second-year curricula are "Economic and Cultural Integration" and "Diplomacy and Security", whereas the binding a.y. 2026/2027 Study Plan names them "ECONOMIC AND POLITICAL INTEGRATION" and "LAW, SECURITY AND DIPLOMACY". Use the Study Plan PDF. Related: in the Law, Security and Diplomacy curriculum the course "Advanced international law" is marked "Disattivato" (deactivated) for 2026/27, leaving "International law of security and diplomacy" as the effective option, and "Local and global development" is listed as "DA AFFIDARE" (lecturer not yet assigned). Also, the two second-year timetable tables in the 2026/27 teaching-schedule PDF are still internally headed "A.Y. 2025/2026" even though the document header says lessons start 21 September 2026 — the second-year rooms and slots may therefore change. 6) THE ARABIC/CHINESE THIRD LANGUAGE MAY NO LONGER EXIST — the Didactic Regulations, the central unina.it record and the orientation portal all promise "the study of an additional non-EU language (Chinese or Arabic)" during the course, but no Arabic or Chinese course appears anywhere in the binding a.y. 2026/2027 Study Plan. Either it has been folded into the free-choice (D) or additional (F) slots or it has lapsed. Confirm before enrolling if this matters to you. 7) POSTCODE CONFLICT FOR THE DEPARTMENT ADDRESS — orientamento.unina.it gives "Via Leopoldo Rodino 22, 80133 Napoli" while the Department page and the central unina.it record both give 80138. 80138 is supported by two sources including the central record and matches the University's own registered address area (Corso Umberto I 40 - 80138 Napoli); treat 80138 as correct. 8) ONE TIMETABLE ROOM CODE IS UNRESOLVED — the 2026/2027 first-year schedule places "INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS: HISTORY AND CURRENT ISSUES" in "AULA FG" on Thursdays, but "AULA FG" does not appear in the Department's official classroom directory (which lists Aula 1 Spinelli, Aula 2, Aula 3, Aula 6, Aula 7, Aula 8, Aula 9, AL, Compagna, Coviello, G1, G4, M4, M8, Pagano, Rossi Doria, S1, S3, Spinelli, Statistica, Z3). Check the room on arrival. 9) STALE PANDEMIC-ERA ENROLMENT WINDOW ON THE ORIENTATION PORTAL — "Bar exceptions connected to the current pandemic; matriculation procedures normally take place between September 1st to October 31st of each academic year" contradicts the binding 2026/27 Guida (ordinary window 16 July - 2 November 2026, late window to 15/16 January 2027, absolute master's deadline 31 March 2027). Use the Guida. 10) THE UNIVERSITY CONTRADICTS ITSELF ON ADMISSION LETTERS — international.unina.it's admission-regulation page states "Important! The University of Naples Federico II does not issue admission letters for obtaining a visa", while the 2026/2027 non-EU booklet makes the Programme Coordinator's PRE-ACCEPTANCE LETTER a required Universitaly upload and a precondition of validation. The reconciliation is presumably that a pre-acceptance letter is not a visa admission letter, but the wording will confuse applicants; ask the coordinator directly. 11) DATE TYPO IN THE OFFICIAL NON-EU BOOKLET — its Matriculation page says "Students who obtained visa are required to matriculate by 31 January 2026", while the same booklet's Deadlines page says JAN 31 2027. 2027 is correct for a.y. 2026/2027. 12) REGIONAL TAX FIGURE — international.unina.it quotes a flat 140 EUR/year while the binding 2026/27 Guida gives 130/151/173 bands and assigns 151 EUR to students whose household resides abroad. Use the Guida. 13) NO PROGRAMME-SPECIFIC DOCUMENT CHECKLIST AND BROKEN DEPARTMENT LINKS — on the Department's programme page the items "Call for Admission", "Recognition Of Academic Title - Request Form", "Enrollment Forms", "Application Process" and "Living in Naples" either carry no hyperlink at all or point to same-page text fragments ("#:~:text=Admin Forms English Version", "#:~:text=FAQs - Application Process", "#:~:text=FAQs - Once in Naples") that do not exist in the served HTML. So the FAQs and admin forms the page advertises are not actually reachable on unina.it. 14) NO MINIMUM BACHELOR GRADE AND NO FOREIGN-DEGREE EQUIVALENCE LIST are published on unina.it for this programme, and no conversion rule is given for counting a foreign transcript against the 48+12 CFU / L-36 ministerial table. A non-Italian applicant cannot self-assess eligibility from unina.it alone. 15) NON-EU SEAT CONTINGENT NOT VERIFIABLE FROM UNINA.IT — see non_eu_reserved_seats; the per-course non-EU quota for uncapped degrees lives on universitaly.it, outside this task's source restriction. 16) THE ENGLISH DIDACTIC REGULATIONS EXIST IN TWO FORMS — the file linked as "Degree Regulations" (LM-52e-regolamento-in-inglese.pdf, ~7 MB) is a SCANNED IMAGE with no extractable text; the file linked as "Previous Regulations" (LM-52e.pdf) is the machine-readable English text and is the one quoted throughout this record. Both are labelled as the LM-52e regulations in force since a.y. 2020-2021, and their Art. 4/Art. 5 wording matches the text reproduced on the Department page and the central unina.it record, so the substance is not in doubt — but note that the file the Department calls "previous" is the one that is actually readable. 17) TWO DIFFERENT LM-52 DEGREES IN THE SAME DEPARTMENT — the Italian-taught "Relazioni Internazionali, Studi sull'Integrazione Europea e per la Sostenibilita" is ALSO class LM-52 and is ALSO run by DiSP. Search results, timetable PDFs and even some unina.it index pages mix the two. Verify that any document you rely on carries the English title "International Relations" or the code LM-52e. 18) ACADEMIC-YEAR BASIS — all dates and amounts in this record are for A.Y. 2026/2027, gathered on 30 Ağustos 2026. The 15 June 2026 non-EU pre-enrolment deadline for 2026/27 HAS ALREADY PASSED, so a non-EU applicant reading this must target A.Y. 2027/2028 and re-check the corresponding booklet and access-test calendar when they are published; an EU applicant reading this on 30 Ağustos 2026 is still inside the 1-14 September 2026 interview registration window for 2026/27.
