Monte Sant'Angelo — Complesso Universitario di Monte Sant'Angelo, Via Cinthia, 80126 Napoli (NA), Italy. The programme belongs to the Department of Biology (Dipartimento di Biologia), located in Building 7 (Edificio 7) of the Monte Sant'Angelo complex. The Teaching Office (Ufficio per la Didattica) is at Via Cinthia, Building 7. The student registry office handling enrolment (Segreteria Studenti - Area Didattica Scienze MM.FF.NN.) is at Via Cinthia 4 / via Cupa Nuova Cintia 21, 80126 Napoli, inside the same Monte Sant'Angelo complex. The programme sits under the Scuola Politecnica e delle Scienze di Base (School of Polytechnic and Basic Sciences).

Kabul Tipi
Restricted access — "Numero Programmato Locale" (locally capped enrolment), declared as such on the orientamento.unina.it course card. Two entirely separate selection procedures run in parallel: (1) EU citizens (wherever resident) + non-EU citizens legally resident in Italy + holders of an Italian secondary school diploma apply through the Segrepass online platform against a published rectoral call (bando di concorso) and are ranked by an algorithm combining diploma grade and chronological order of application — there is NO competitive entrance exam; (2) non-EU citizens resident abroad do NOT use Segrepass at all: they pre-enrol via the Universitaly portal, are assessed by document review plus a mandatory online admission interview run directly by the Course Coordination Committee (Commissione di Coordinamento Didattico), and are placed on a separate ranking list. In addition, ALL admitted students (both routes) must, as a condition of enrolment, hold a B2 English certificate and sit the mandatory CEnT (CISIA English Test) self-assessment test in TOLC@CASA mode — this test is not used for selection/ranking, only to certify initial preparation and to trigger an OFA (additional learning requirement) when the Mathematics score is low.
Resmî Eğitim Dili
English — the programme is taught entirely in English and is part of the University of Naples Federico II "International Catalogue". The orientamento.unina.it course card lists Language: ENG. No Italian-language curriculum exists: this is a standalone English-taught degree (not an English track of an Italian programme). Italian language proficiency is NOT an admission requirement. The study plan reserves 8 CFU for "Further knowledge useful for job placement / further linguistic knowledge", of which foreign students take 4 credits as further linguistic knowledge.

AB / AEA adayları
A.Y. 2026/2027 — EU citizens (wherever resident), non-EU citizens legally resident in Italy, and holders of an Italian secondary diploma:
- Application window OPENS: 16 Temmuz 2026 at 09:00 (Italian time) — "a partire dalle ore 9.00 del giorno 16 luglio 2026".
- Application DEADLINE: 31 Ağustos 2026 at 14:00 (Italian time) per the rectoral call DR/2026/2423 — "entro e non oltre le ore 14.00 del giorno 31 agosto 2026"; the online system "verrà disattivata, tassativamente, alle ore 14.00 del giorno 31 agosto 2026". The Department of Biology news page announcing the same call states "The deadline is set for 31 August 2026 at 4:00 p.m." (16:00). The rectoral decree (and its 30/06/2026 amendment, which left Art. 3 unchanged) is the legally binding source, so 14:00 should be treated as the operative time; applicants should treat the safe deadline as 31 Ağustos 2026 14:00.
AB / AEA dışı adaylar
A.Y. 2026/2027 — non-EU citizens resident abroad (visa-requiring applicants). These candidates do NOT apply on Segrepass and are NOT bound by the 31 August Segrepass deadline; they follow the Universitaly / MUR route:
- Universitaly pre-enrolment application deadline to University of Naples Federico II: 15 Haziran 2026 — "JUNE 15 2026 — Pre-enrolment application deadline to University of Naples Federico II. After this date no programme changes are permitted. After this date pre-enrolment is allowed to the programmes with restricted access only." Because Biology for One-Health IS a restricted-access (numero programmato locale) programme, late pre-enrolment after 15 June 2026 appears to remain possible for this specific programme; no programme-specific Universitaly cut-off date is published on any unina.it page, and the Department's own wording is only "The candidates will receive a response about the acceptance once the pre-application period has closed (likely, in June)."
- Online admission interviews (mandatory, by e-mail convocation): schedule published 23 Haziran 2026 by the Department of Biology; conducted via Google Meet, all times in Italian local time.

Akademik geçmiş
Seats (total): 75 places in total for A.Y. 2026/2027, decided by the Department Council resolution no. 4 of 14/04/2026 and approved by D.R. 2340 of 16/06/2026. Same figure as A.Y. 2025/2026. Only Year 1 is activated for A.Y. 2026/27. | Seats (non-EU reserved): 30 places reserved for non-EU citizens resident abroad ("cittadini extracomunitari residenti all'estero"), leaving 45 places for EU and Italian candidates (plus non-EU candidates legally resident in Italy). The two contingents are assigned through separate procedures and separate ranking lists. Reserved non-EU places that go unfilled are transferred to EU-route candidates usefully ranked; conversely, if the non-EU quota is oversubscribed relative to the EU quota's uptake, eligible EU-route candidates can be recovered in addition to the number stated in Art. 1 of the call.
Bachelor-level entry, so a secondary school leaving qualification is required.
Eligible candidates (Art. 2 of the 2026/27 call, DR/2026/2423):
Dil yeterliliği
English: a certificate of English language proficiency at AT LEAST B2 level (CEFR) is mandatory for enrolment, for EU/Italian and non-EU candidates alike. It is required for enrolment (immatricolazione), and for non-EU candidates it must also be uploaded at the Universitaly pre-enrolment stage.
Accepted certifying bodies listed by the Department of Biology for both EU and non-EU candidates: Cambridge, BEC, Trinity, IELTS, TOEFL. No numeric minimum scores (e.g. IELTS band, TOEFL score) are published on any official unina.it page for this programme — the attainment of B2 level "will be ascertained by the University Language Centre (www.cla.unina.it) before the enrolment". The CLA (Centro Linguistico di Ateneo) is the body that validates/recognises the certificate.
Official warning in the Department's enrolment guide: "It is worth noting that if individual English proficiency testing is carried out after enrolment, the procedure at Embassy/Consulate for non-EU visas could fail" — i.e. non-EU applicants should have the B2 certificate in hand before the visa stage.
Sınav / değerlendirme
There is NO competitive written entrance examination for the EU/Italian route. Selection is purely by ranking algorithm.
1) SELECTION (EU / Italian / non-EU resident in Italy): ranking is calculated with the algorithm P = 60 (M/100) + 40 ((N-A+1)/N), where M = upper-secondary diploma grade out of 100 (100 cum laude = 101), N = total number of applications received for the programme, A = chronological order of booking/application. In other words: 60% diploma grade, 40% how early the application was submitted. Ties are broken in favour of the younger candidate (Art. 2(9), Law 191/98). The same algorithm is used for the Italian-language Biologia degree.
2) SELECTION (non-EU resident abroad): a MANDATORY ONLINE ADMISSION INTERVIEW, convened by e-mail to the address given on the Universitaly pre-application, "to test the personal preparation about logical ability and basic scientific knowledge" ("per verificare la preparazione personale sulle capacità logiche e sulle conoscenze scientifiche di base"). It is run by the Course Coordination Committee. For A.Y. 2026/27 interviews were held via Google Meet according to a published schedule (notice of 23 June 2026). Document review (passport, CV, high-school certificate, B2 certificate, optional reference letters) precedes the interview. A separate ranking list is produced.
3. Hazırlanacak belgeler
A) NON-EU candidates resident abroad — documents to UPLOAD on the Universitaly portal for the pre-acceptance selection:
1) EU/Italian application closing TIME conflict: the rectoral call DR/2026/2423 (Art. 3) fixes it at 14:00 on 31 August 2026 and its amending decree DR/2026/2551 explicitly left the remaining parts unchanged; the Department of Biology news item announcing the same call says 4:00 p.m. (16:00). The decree is the binding source, so 14:00 is the safe assumption. Applicants should not rely on the extra two hours.
2) Non-EU Universitaly cut-off: the university-wide brochure sets 15 June 2026, but explicitly allows post-deadline pre-enrolment for restricted-access programmes — and this programme is restricted-access. The Department's own second admitted-list window (1-10 September 2026) implies a later non-EU intake exists. No programme-specific non-EU application deadline is published anywhere on unina.it. Prospective non-EU applicants should contact pre-enrolment@unina.it / biologyforonehealth@unina.it to confirm the operative date for their cycle.
3) Test name: 2026/27 sources are inconsistent between "TOLC-I_EN" and "CEnT". The rectification decree DR/2026/2551 settles this — the correct test is the CEnT (CISIA English Test) in TOLC@CASA mode — but the uncorrected name still appears on older Department notices (2 July 2025 notice, 30 January 2026 notice) and in the un-rectified text of the original bando. Data consumers should present CEnT, and flag TOLC-I_EN as a superseded label.
4) Degree class notation: the 2026/27 decree writes "Classe L - R13 - Scienze Biologiche" while orientamento.unina.it shows "L-13" and Universitaly instructions say "Classe L13". These refer to the same class (Biological Sciences); R13 is the post-reform code. No substantive conflict.
5) Campus street number: the orientamento page renders the Department address as "Via Cinthia, 126, Naples, Building 7" (likely a run-together of "Via Cinthia" and postcode "80126"); the bando gives "via Cinthia 4" for the Segreteria Studenti and the non-EU enrolment PDF gives "via Cupa Nuova Cintia, 21 - 80126, Napoli". All three are inside the same Monte Sant'Angelo university complex, so the CAMPUS (Monte Sant'Angelo) is confirmed; only the internal street number varies by office.
6) Tuition figures on international.unina.it (EUR 200 tuition + EUR 140 regional tax) are inconsistent with the 2026/27 student guide (income-based contribution, regional tax 130/151/173 EUR) and appear stale. Use the 2026/27 guide and calcolatrice.unina.it.
7) Data currency: the orientamento.unina.it programme card is explicitly labelled "Aggiornata a.a. 2025/2026" (updated for A.Y. 2025/2026) and its "admission and prerequisites" text still points at the 2025/2026 places and criteria; all A.Y. 2026/2027 figures in this record come from the rectoral decrees of 22 and 30 June 2026 and the Department of Biology news pages (last modified 25/08/2026), retrieved 30 Ağustos 2026.
8) A.Y. 2026/27 dates listed here for the EU route (application 16 July - 31 August 2026, ranking by 7 September 2026, matriculation by 15 October 2026) are ALREADY PAST or closing as of the retrieval date 30 Ağustos 2026; the equivalent 2027/28 cycle is expected to follow the same pattern (mid-July opening, end-August closing) but has not yet been published.
9) No programme-specific numeric English test thresholds (IELTS band, TOEFL score) are published by unina.it for this programme; only "at least B2" plus a list of accepted certifying bodies. The CLA performs the equivalence assessment case by case.
10) Diploma name vs programme name: the programme name is the same in the degree title ("Biology for One-Health"); the Italian class denomination is "Scienze Biologiche". Graduates qualify to sit the Italian state exam for the Junior section (Section B) of the Professional Register of Biologists under Presidential Decree 328/01.
11) The orientamento.unina.it host presents a TLS chain that some fetchers reject ("unable to verify the first certificate"); the page content was retrieved successfully but the reader should expect occasional certificate warnings on that subdomain.
12) The Department of Biology WordPress site carries injected SEO spam text in its page footers; this was ignored and had no bearing on any extracted fact.
