RESOLVED — this VERIFIES the research brief's "campus: to be verified". A DIGISOC student allocated to the Italian location studies at the SAN GIOVANNI A TEDUCCIO university complex, NOT at the historic city-centre building where the Department of Social Sciences has its offices. The orientation portal's 'Sites and links' section makes the distinction explicitly and is the decisive source, because it separates the two under two labelled headings: — ADMINISTRATIVE SITE: "University of Naples Federico II – Department of Social Sciences, Vico Monte della Pietà 1, 80138, Naples" (the department's historic seat, Palazzo De Laurentiis, a building bought by the Monte di Pietà in 1728; this is where the department's administration sits); — LECTURES SITE: "Department of Social Sciences, Campus San Giovanni, via Nuova Villa, 80146, Naples", with the geo-coordinates given as 40.83772629545653, 14.304010748994534. THIS IS CORROBORATED BY THE BINDING CALL FOR APPLICATIONS, which names the Italian teaching location in Article 1 as "University of Naples Federico II (U.C. San Giovanni), Italy: 30 places" — 'U.C.' = Unità/Complesso San Giovanni — and by the Rector's ranking decree DR/2026/1111, which says "University of Naples Federico II (San Giovanni Campus), Italy: 30 places (including max. 5 Non-EU Students)". The Department of Social Sciences' own 'Le nostre Sedi' page describes the site: "Un'altra sede è situata presso il Complesso universitario di San Giovanni (ingresso via Nuova Villa, sn) che nasce nell'area dismessa ex Cirio, all'interno di un grande progetto di riqualificazione urbana nel quartiere orientale della città di San Giovanni a Teduccio che rappresenta il polo tecnologico della Federico II." — i.e. the campus was built on the disused ex-Cirio industrial area in Naples' eastern district and is Federico II's technology hub, also hosting the Scuola Politecnica e delle Scienze di Base, R&D laboratories, technology-transfer facilities and the University's main corporate Academies (the Apple Developer Academy among them). So the answer for the ItalyPath dataset is: SAN GIOVANNI A TEDUCCIO (entrance via Nuova Villa, 80146 Napoli) for lectures; Vico Monte della Pietà 1, 80138 Napoli for administration. It is NOT Monte Sant'Angelo, Policlinico, Portici or Frullone. NOTE A MINOR TRAP ON ONE OFFICIAL PAGE: the Department of Social Sciences course record's summary box lists only "Sede : Via Monte di Pietà, 1 - 80138 - Napoli" without qualifying it as the administrative address, which could mislead an applicant into expecting city-centre teaching — see uncertainty_notes. IMPORTANT STRUCTURAL POINT: the Naples campus is only ONE of three possible study locations. Applicants rank the three degree-awarding universities as 1st/2nd/3rd choice in the application form and are allocated by ranking to Naples, Innsbruck or Olomouc, and BOTH Joint Summer Schools are on-site events that rotate among the three countries, so mobility abroad is compulsory even for a student based in Naples. Student office: Segreteria Studenti Area didattica Sociologia. Department websites: https://www.scienzesociali.unina.it ; Innsbruck Faculty of Economics and Statistics; Olomouc Faculty of Law.

RESTRICTED ACCESS (Italian "numero programmato locale") WITH A COMPETITIVE ONLINE ADMISSION TEST AND A PUBLISHED RANKING — this is emphatically NOT an open-access (accesso libero) programme, and that makes DIGISOC behave very differently from most Federico II two-year master's degrees. The orientation portal fact-sheet header records "Admission Numero Programmato Locale"; the Department of Social Sciences course record gives "Accesso al Corso : Bachelor Degree, English Language Certificate (B2 level) - Admission Test (online)". The call describes it as "A public selection for the admission to the Joint Master Programme". THE MECHANICS, in order: (1) online application on the programme portal within a hard deadline; (2) a supervised online multiple-choice admission test (see entry_exam_or_test); (3) two SEPARATE ranking lists — one for EU/EU-equivalent candidates and one for non-EU candidates residing abroad — drawn up per university location and approved by a UNINA Rector's Decree; (4) e-mail confirmation of the offered place by the deadline, on pain of forfeiture; (5) upload of academic qualification documents to an online platform, examined by the Admission Commission, which then formally declares candidates ADMITTED; (6) payment of fees within 30 days of the payment notice, again on pain of automatic forfeiture. THE THREE CANDIDATE CATEGORIES ARE DEFINED IN THE CALL AND DETERMINE WHICH RANKING YOU COMPETE IN: "EU candidates if they hold a EU citizenship; EU equivalent candidates if they reside in a EU country with a residence permit; Non-EU candidates if they reside outside the European Union and, by virtue of their nationality and residence outside the European Union, are required to obtain a VISA in order to enter the Member States of the European Union." LOCATION PREFERENCE IS BINDING: "In the application form, candidates must indicate their preferred Degree-Awarding University for attending the training activities. Each candidate may specify a first, second, and third choice. This order of preference is binding for the preparation of the admission ranking, which will be organised by university location." Places are filled first from candidates who named a location as First Option (marked "Assigned"; the rest "Wait"), then, if places remain, from Second and then Third Option candidates — but for those later rounds "No additional rankings will be published ...; eligible candidates will instead be notified individually through personal communication." TIE-BREAK: highest Bachelor's degree grade, then drawing of lots (in the 2025/26 call the second tie-break was 'youngest candidate' under Art. 2(9) of Law 191/98 — this changed to lots in 2026/27). A CRITICAL WARNING PRINTED IN THE CALL: passing the test is necessary but NOT sufficient — "successful completion of the admission test does not in itself guarantee admission or enrolment in the Joint Master Programme DIGISOC. Enrolment can only be granted after successful completion of the admission test and upon submission of all documents proving the candidate's formal eligibility for admission ... and fulfilling the institutional and national requirements of all three Degree-Awarding Universities." Because the student is matriculated at all three universities, an Austrian or Czech legal requirement can block admission even after a top test score — see academic_requirements. Non-EU candidates additionally have to complete Italy's Universitaly pre-enrolment and visa pipeline on their own initiative.

Resmî Eğitim Dili

ENGLISH — 100% English-taught, and this is one of the most solidly evidenced English-language claims among Federico II's programmes because English is structurally forced by the joint Italian-Austrian-Czech delivery. EVIDENCE: (1) the orientation portal fact-sheet header records "Language ENG" as a single value (no ITA/ENG bilingual flag); (2) the Department of Social Sciences course page states "DIGISOC is conducted in English and is primarily offered in a hybrid format."; (3) the admission test itself is in English — "The admission test consists of 80 multiple-choice questions in english"; (4) English proficiency at CEFR B2 is a hard, certificate-backed ADMISSION requirement (see language_requirements), not a graduation-side requirement; (5) all official programme documents — the Call for Applications, the Didactic Regulations, the Study Plan and the Rector's Decrees approving the rankings — are published in English by UNINA; (6) teaching is delivered "by teams of lecturers belonging to the degree-awarding and associated Universities" spread across Italy, Austria, Czechia, Slovakia, Portugal and France, so no single national language is workable. NO ITALIAN IS REQUIRED — and this is a genuine differentiator from most other UNINA English-taught degrees. Unlike, for example, the Federico II Data Science LM (whose Manifesto forces foreign students to obtain a CLA Italian-language certificate to claim the 6-CFU 'other activities' slot), the DIGISOC 2026/2027 Study Plan contains NO Italian-language requirement of any kind: the 'further training activities' (TAF F) slot in Year I is filled by "Introduction to the Collaboratorium" inside Joint Summer School I, and the Year II free slot is 10 ECTS of Elective Modules drawn from the Associated Universities' English-taught portfolio. No unina.it page for DIGISOC mentions an Italian language course, an Italian certificate or CLA. CAVEAT ON ELECTIVES — the 10-ECTS Elective Modules are chosen from a catalogue offered by the Associated Universities (Košice, Lisbon, Paris-Est Créteil); the recommended list is published on the programme website rather than on unina.it, so an applicant should confirm the delivery language of the specific electives chosen, although the programme's design intent ("a portfolio of courses offered by DIGISOC Associated Universities" inside an English-medium joint programme) makes English delivery the expectation. PRACTICAL NOTE: Italian is not needed academically, but a student allocated to the Naples location will still need survival Italian for daily life and for dealing with the Segreteria Studenti Area Didattica Sociologia, whose front-office correspondence is largely in Italian.

THE 2026/2027 CYCLE IS CLOSED — every deadline below has already passed as of the research date (30 Ağustos 2026), so a reader planning to apply must target A.Y. 2027/2028, whose call is expected around December 2026 by analogy with this cycle. Unlike most Federico II master's degrees, DIGISOC has NO rolling enrolment window and does NOT follow the University's ordinary 16 July - 2 November immatriculation calendar: it is a numero programmato locale competition with one single annual application window, and missing it means waiting a full year. THE OFFICIAL 2026/2027 TIMELINE, published by the Department of Social Sciences and fixed by the call (R.D. No. 5467 of 19/12/2025), applies IDENTICALLY to EU and EU-equivalent candidates up to the ranking stage and then diverges only at the document-submission step: — 22 Aralık 2025: applications open ("December 22, 2025: Applications open"); — 27 Şubat 2026, 14:00 CET: APPLICATIONS CLOSE — the hard deadline. "The online application procedure will strictly close at 2.00 p.m. on February 27, 2026, after which no further applications will be accepted. Failure to submit the application by the deadline and according to the specified procedures will result in exclusion from the admission process."; — 13 Mart 2026: admission test, online; — 20 Mart 2026: publication of results ("The anonymised results of the admission test will be announced no later than March 20, 2026"), in fact issued that day as DR/2026/1111; — 3 Nisan 2026: ACCEPTANCE CONFIRMATION DEADLINE — "By April 03, 2026, eligible candidates must confirm their acceptance of the offered place by sending an email to info@digisoc.eu from the email address provided in their application. Candidates who fail to react within the specified deadline will be deemed to have tacitly renounced their place and will permanently forfeit their right to enrolment."; — 31 Temmuz 2026: DOCUMENT DEADLINE FOR EU AND EU-EQUIVALENT CANDIDATES — "EU and EU-equivalent candidates must submit the required documentation no later than July 31, 2026." This same date is the backstop for EU candidates admitted sub conditione, who must by then have obtained both the bachelor degree and the English certificate; — then payment: "Upon receipt of the payment notice, candidates shall have 30 days to complete the required abovementioned payments", with automatic forfeiture on late payment. (For comparison, the 2025/26 first edition ran on a completely different, much later calendar: applications 14 April - 20 June 2025, test 2 July 2025, results by 10 July, acceptance by 17 July, payment instructions by 1 August and payment by 1 September 2025 at 12:00, with a second allocation round publishing eligible candidates by 8 September and closing 15 September 2025. The shift of roughly four months earlier between the first and second editions is the reason a prospective applicant must not plan on summer deadlines.) WHO COUNTS AS EU-EQUIVALENT: candidates "who reside in a EU country with a residence permit" — so a non-EU national already legally resident in the EU applies in the EU ranking on the EU timeline, not in the far more competitive non-EU one. PRACTICAL ADVICE: watch https://www.scienzesociali.unina.it and https://digitalsociety4innovation.eu from late November 2026, and budget for a Feb/March 2027 test.

LIKE THE EU TRACK, THE 2026/2027 CYCLE HAS CLOSED as of the research date (30 Ağustos 2026); a non-EU applicant must target A.Y. 2027/2028. Non-EU candidates residing abroad share the application, test and acceptance dates with EU candidates but face an EARLIER document deadline and a second, entirely separate national visa pipeline. THE 2026/2027 DATES: — 22 Aralık 2025: applications open; — 27 Şubat 2026, 14:00 CET: applications close (same hard deadline as EU); — 13 Mart 2026: online admission test; — 20 Mart 2026: results published; — 3 Nisan 2026: acceptance of the offered place confirmed by e-mail to info@digisoc.eu; — 15 Mayıs 2026: DOCUMENT DEADLINE FOR NON-EU CANDIDATES RESIDING ABROAD, two and a half months earlier than the EU date — "Non-EU candidates residing abroad must submit the required documentation by May 15, 2026." and, in Article 6, "Non-EU candidates must upload the required academic documentation by 15 May 2026 at the latest". The call is blunt about the consequence: "Failure to comply with the applicable national procedures, visa timelines, or the earlier document-submission deadline will result in exclusion from admission or impossibility of enrolment." NOTE ALSO THAT NON-EU CANDIDATES CANNOT APPLY SUB CONDITIONE — the bachelor must already be completed and B2 English already held at the moment of registering for the test. THE PARALLEL ITALIAN NATIONAL PIPELINE STILL APPLIES AND IS THE CANDIDATE'S OWN RESPONSIBILITY. The call states: "Non-EU candidates residing abroad are required to comply with all national pre-enrolment and visa procedures applicable in the Degree-Awarding Countries. Candidates are responsible for monitoring the relevant national regulations and for completing the required steps in due time." and "While guidance and support will be provided, responsibility for obtaining a visa, rests solely with the candidates." For Italy the call points to https://www.universitaly.it (for Austria, the BMEIA representations search; for Czechia, the MZV study-visa page). UNINA's own 2026/27 international rules on international.unina.it set the Italian dates that a Naples-bound DIGISOC student must also meet: "JUNE – 15 – 2026 – Pre-enrolment application deadline to University of Naples Federico II" and "NOVEMBER – 30 – 2026 – Deadline for submitting the Visa Application at Italian Embassies/Consulates", with matriculation to be completed by the end of January 2027 under the ministerial rules. The sequencing is therefore tight but coherent: test in March, place confirmed by 3 April, DIGISOC documents uploaded by 15 May, Universitaly pre-enrolment lodged by 15 June, visa applied for by 30 November. BECAUSE the interaction between the DIGISOC-specific document deadline and the ministerial Universitaly calendar is not spelled out on any single unina.it page — in particular whether the DIGISOC pre-acceptance evidence must precede the Universitaly application, and whether the ordinary 15 June Universitaly cut-off is applied to this restricted-access programme (UNINA's booklet allows pre-enrolment after that date for restricted-access programmes) — a non-EU applicant should confirm the exact sequencing with info@digisoc.eu and pre-enrolment@unina.it before relying on it. ALSO NOTE the legalisation lead time, which is the practical bottleneck: "Non-EU candidates residing abroad must ensure that all academic documents submitted for the formal admission procedure meet the legalisation or apostille requirements of the respective awarding countries" — legalisation, apostille, Declaration of Value or CIMEA statements routinely take 1-3 months, so a candidate should start collecting them BEFORE the March test rather than after the April acceptance.

Kabul koşulları

Akademik geçmiş
  • Seats (total): 90 PLACES IN TOTAL ACROSS THE THREE AWARDING UNIVERSITIES, OF WHICH 30 AT THE UNIVERSITY OF NAPLES FEDERICO II. Article 1 of the 2026/27 call: "A public selection for the admission ... is announced for the academic year 2026/2027 ... for a total of 90 places (75 places for EU and EU equivalent students and max. 15 places for Non-EU students)", allocated as "1. University of Naples Federico II (U.C. San Giovanni), Italy: 30 places (including max. 5 Non-EU Students)
  • 2. University of Innsbruck, Austria: 30 places (including max. 5 Non-EU Students)
  • 3. Palacký University in Olomouc, Czech Republic: 30 places (including max. 5 Non-EU Students)." The cap originates in a departmental decision — "the Decree of the Director of the Department no. 24 of 4th February 2025, ratified by the Council of the Department of Social Sciences in its meeting of 27th February 2025, concerning ... the limited number of students who can be admitted". Annex 1 restates the target: "The number of students for each intake of DIGISOC is targeted at 90." NOTE A REAL-WORLD SUBTLETY: the seats are places at a LOCATION, not at a separate programme — every admitted student is enrolled at all three universities and the 30/30/30 split only determines where they physically attend. HOW COMPETITIVE WAS 2026/27 IN PRACTICE? The two ranking PDFs approved by DR/2026/1111 allow this to be measured exactly, and the picture is startlingly lopsided — see non_eu_reserved_seats for the non-EU side. ON THE EU SIDE THE PROGRAMME WAS UNDER-SUBSCRIBED: the EU ranking contains only 42 candidates in total, of whom 40 were marked ASSIGNED and 2 NOT ELIGIBLE (below the pass mark of 16). Twenty EU candidates named UNINA as their first choice and 19 of them were assigned a Naples place, with the lowest assigned score just 23.50/80 against a top score of 75.00. In other words, in the 2026/27 round essentially EVERY EU applicant who reached the minimum score of 16 was admitted, and roughly a third of the 30 Italian EU-side places went unfilled at first allocation. For an EU or EU-equivalent applicant DIGISOC is therefore, on this one year of evidence, a low-barrier programme; the binding constraints are the documentary and language requirements, not the ranking. (Caution: this is a single year of data from the programme's second-ever intake, so it should not be assumed to repeat.) | Seats (non-EU reserved): 15 PLACES RESERVED FOR NON-EU CANDIDATES RESIDING ABROAD ACROSS THE CONSORTIUM — A MAXIMUM OF 5 AT THE UNIVERSITY OF NAPLES FEDERICO II. The 2026/27 call sets the split explicitly: "a total of 90 places (75 places for EU and EU equivalent students and max. 15 places for Non-EU students)", with each location carrying "30 places (including max. 5 Non-EU Students)". This is a RESERVED SUB-QUOTA, competed for in a separate ranking: "Non-EU candidates residing abroad shall compete exclusively for the reserved places indicated in Article 1" and "For Non-EU candidates residing abroad a separate ranking will be drawn up for each university location." Unused non-EU places do not stay idle — "Should any reserved places for Non-EU students remain available after the allocation procedure, such places may be reallocated to EU or equivalent eligible applicants, in accordance with the position in the admission ranking." NOTE THAT THIS EU/NON-EU SPLIT IS NEW IN 2026/27: the 2025/26 call had no reserved non-EU quota at all, simply 90 places in one ranking. THE 2026/27 NON-EU RANKING SHOWS AN EXTRAORDINARY LEVEL OF COMPETITION FOR THE NAPLES PLACES, and this is the single most decision-relevant number in this record for a non-EU applicant. The published NON-EU ranking (approved by DR/2026/1111 of 20/03/2026) contains 409 candidates: 15 ASSIGNED, 361 WAIT and 33 NOT ELIGIBLE. Of those, 294 candidates named UNINA as their first choice — and exactly 5 were assigned. The UNINA non-EU cut-off score was 75.00/80 (top score 79.00), while candidates scoring as high as 72.50 were left on WAIT. That is an effective first-choice admission rate of about 1.7% (5 of 294) for the Naples location, against an EU-side rate that year of roughly 95%. Innsbruck drew 77 non-EU first choices and Olomouc 37, for the same 5 places each, so Naples was by a wide margin the most contested of the three locations; several non-EU candidates were admitted to Olomouc marked "ASSIGNED (redirect)", i.e. placed at a lower-preference location. PRACTICAL ADVICE: a non-EU applicant who is set on studying in Naples should treat DIGISOC as a highly selective, test-score-driven competition, prepare seriously against the five pre-published readings, and — importantly — use the 2nd and 3rd location preferences rather than naming Naples alone, since Innsbruck and especially Olomouc were markedly less contested and the degree awarded is identical whichever location is attended. Non-EU candidates must also independently complete Italy's national pre-enrolment and visa pipeline: "Non-EU candidates residing abroad are required to comply with all national pre-enrolment and visa procedures applicable in the Degree-Awarding Countries", with the call pointing to https://www.universitaly.it for Italy, and warning that "responsibility for obtaining a visa, rests solely with the candidates" and that "Failure to comply with the applicable national procedures, visa timelines, or the earlier document-submission deadline will result in exclusion from admission or impossibility of enrolment."

  • ENGLISH AT CEFR B2 MINIMUM, EVIDENCED BY ONE OF THREE ROUTES — a hard admission requirement for every candidate, with named certificates and explicit minimum scores (unusually precise for a Federico II programme). NO ITALIAN IS REQUIRED AT ANY STAGE, AT ADMISSION OR FOR GRADUATION. Article 2 of the 2026/27 call: "All candidates must certify their proficiency in the English language at least the B2 level according to the CEF (Common European Framework) through one of the following methods". ROUTE 1 — PRIOR ENGLISH-MEDIUM STUDY, but note how much tighter the 2026/27 wording is than the 2025/26 version: "Official documentation issued by an educational institution proving successful completion of a school-leaving certificate, a Bachelor's Programme (180 ECTS credits), or a Master's Programme of at least two years' duration (120 ECTS credits) that was taught entirely in English. The documentation must explicitly confirm English as the sole language of instruction." The words 'entirely' and 'sole language of instruction' are the operative ones: a partially English-taught degree, or a letter that merely says English was 'used', will not do. ROUTE 2 — SCHOOL RECORD OR INNSBRUCK LANGUAGE CENTRE: "Positive mark in English in the annual school report preceding the school-leaving certificate or on the school-leaving certificate issued from a school within the EU, the EEA or Switzerland, 'Sprachenzentrum' (Language Centre) at the University of Innsbruck: successful completion of English course at advanced level III (B2)." ROUTE 3 — A NAMED CERTIFICATE, "not older than two years from the date of the examination": TOEFL iBT from 72
  • IELTS (British Council) from 5.5
  • Cambridge Assessment English B2 First (FCE)
Sınav / değerlendirme
  • YES — A COMPULSORY, SUPERVISED, REMOTE-PROCTORED ONLINE ADMISSION TEST. This is not a TOLC, not a SAT, not an interview and not a portfolio: it is a bespoke 80-question multiple-choice CRITICAL THINKING test, sat in English, and it is the sole basis of the ranking score. FORMAT: "The admission test consists of 80 multiple-choice questions, each with four answer options, only one of which is correct." Duration 75 minutes. SCORING: "1 point for each correct answer
  • -0.25 points for each incorrect answer
  • 0 points for each unanswered question" — so blind guessing is penalised and the maximum score is 80. MINIMUM PASS MARK (new in the 2026/27 call, absent from the 2025/26 one): "The minimum score required to pass the test is set at 16." Candidates below 16 are marked NOT ELIGIBLE in the published ranking. WHAT IT TESTS: not subject knowledge, but "candidates' critical thinking skills, defined as the ability to thoroughly analyse written and visual information, interpret its meaning, and draw logical conclusions", operationalised through five Watson-Glaser-style indicators set out in Annex 1: (1) Making Inferences (rate proposed inferences as true / false / possibly true / possibly false / insufficient data)

  • THE DOCUMENT SET IS SPLIT ACROSS TWO STAGES, and the 2026/27 call deliberately moved most of the burden to the SECOND stage — a change from 2025/26 that lightens the application itself but does not reduce what is ultimately required. STAGE 1 — AT APPLICATION (Annex 2A of the 2026/27 call), uploaded to the programme portal: a Photo; an Identity document / Passport; a Document proving residence (this is what determines whether you are classified EU-equivalent or non-EU, so it is decisive); and a Certificate of disability and/or specific learning disorders (SLD) if extra test time is requested. The applicant also fills in personal data, previous university career, LANGUAGE SKILLS SELF-CERTIFICATION and the ranked choice of university location, then signs two confirmation statements — "I confirm that I can prove my language proficiency at level B2 CEF" and an acknowledgement that passing the test does not guarantee admission — before submitting and downloading the PDF application confirmation containing the "Candidate code". NOTE THE CHANGE FROM 2025/26, when the degree certificate, Diploma Supplement, English certificate, a Europass-format CV and a letter of motivation all had to be uploaded up front; in 2026/27 no CV and no motivation letter are required at all, and the academic documents move to stage 2. STAGE 2 — AFTER THE TEST, FOR CANDIDATES WHO CONFIRMED THEIR PLACE (Article 13 and Annex 3), uploaded to an online platform by 15 May 2026 (non-EU) or 31 July 2026 (EU/EU-equivalent) and examined by the Admission Commission, which then formally declares candidates admitted. The required academic-qualification documents are: the BACHELOR DEGREE CERTIFICATE; plus, if the degree was awarded in an EU country, a DIPLOMA SUPPLEMENT; or, if awarded outside the EU, a DECLARATION OF VALUE (DoV) issued by the competent Italian Embassy/Consulate OR a CIMEA comparability-and-authenticity statement (https://www.cimea.it/EN/pagina-attestati-di-comparabilita-e-verifica-dei-titoli); plus the ENGLISH LANGUAGE CERTIFICATE evidencing B2 by one of the three accepted routes; plus a transcript sufficient for the Austrian equivalence assessment described in academic_requirements. AUSTRIAN CERTIFICATION AND TRANSLATION RULES APPLY ON TOP AND ARE THE STRICTEST PART OF THE SET, because the student is also matriculated at Innsbruck: "The University of Innsbruck requires certified documents, even if the original documents are presented. The only exceptions are for documents from countries with which Austria has an agreement exempting them from legalization." Applicants with documents from the People's Republic of China "must have them additionally certified by the Austrian Academic Evaluation Centre (APS) in Beijing". On translations: "Documents in foreign languages must be translated into German or English by a sworn translator. All notarized documents must also be translated, and the translator's signature must be certified by the competent authority (e.g., Ministry of Foreign Affairs) ... The translation and the certified document must be inseparably linked." Non-EU candidates must additionally ensure documents "meet the legalisation or apostille requirements of the respective awarding countries". BECAUSE ANNEX 3 DOES NOT PRINT A CLOSED CHECKLIST: instead of enumerating the stage-2 documents it refers applicants outward — "General information on required documentation to the Joint Master Programme DIGISOC is available on the University of Innsbruck Admission Department's homepage: https://www.uibk.ac.at/studium/anmeldung-zulassung/masterstudium/index.html.en#documents" — and adds that "Competent information regarding the eligibility can only be given on the basis of the documents in a complete application." The itemisation above is therefore assembled from Article 2 of the 2026/27 call, the 2025/26 call's explicit list, and Annex 3's certification rules; an individual candidate may be asked for more. A non-EU candidate bound for the Naples location will separately need the standard Italian visa/enrolment paperwork (Universitaly pre-enrolment summary validated by the University, passport, codice fiscale, health insurance, proof of means of subsistence, residence permit application) as set out on international.unina.it. Confirm the final list with info@digisoc.eu.

  • 1) ANSWER TO THE RESEARCH BRIEF'S CORE QUESTION, RESTATED: UNINA is not a peripheral partner. DIGISOC is a three-way JOINT degree in which Federico II is the administrative and legal lead for the entire admission procedure — the call is a UNINA Rector's Decree covering all 90 places at all three universities, the rankings are approved by UNINA Rector's Decree, the test contractor is UNINA's, tuition is collected centrally by UNINA, and the procedure owner is UNINA's Student Affairs Office (Didactic Area Sociology). UNINA's own official page is the Department of Social Sciences course record at scienzesociali.unina.it (URL in official_program_url), complemented by the orientamento.unina.it course sheet; the consortium site digitalsociety4innovation.eu is the application portal and is named as the official 'Sito Web' by the unina.it record, but it is not a unina.it page. 2) CAMPUS — THE ONE REAL CONFLICT BETWEEN OFFICIAL UNINA.IT PAGES. The Department of Social Sciences course record's summary box lists only "Sede : Via Monte di Pietà, 1 - 80138 - Napoli", unqualified, which would lead an applicant to expect city-centre teaching. The orientation portal resolves it by labelling two distinct sites — Vico Monte della Pietà 1 as the ADMINISTRATIVE site and "Campus San Giovanni, via Nuova Villa, 80146, Naples" as the LECTURES site — and both the call ("U.C. San Giovanni") and the ranking decree ("San Giovanni Campus") name San Giovanni as the Italian teaching location. Treat San Giovanni a Teduccio as the campus for planning accommodation and commuting; it is in Naples' eastern industrial district, roughly 6 km from the historic centre. 3) ALL 2026/2027 DEADLINES HAVE PASSED as of the research date 30 Ağustos 2026: applications closed 27 February 2026, the test was held 13 March 2026, rankings were published 20 March 2026 and even the EU document deadline of 31 July 2026 is behind us. A reader must target A.Y. 2027/2028 and re-check every date when the new call appears — expected around December 2026, since the 2026/27 call was issued on 19 December 2025. DO NOT ASSUME THE CALENDAR REPEATS: between the first and second editions the whole cycle moved roughly four months earlier (2025/26 ran 14 April - 20 June 2025 with a 2 July test; 2026/27 ran 22 December 2025 - 27 February 2026 with a 13 March test). 4) THE ORIENTATION PORTAL PAGE IS STALE and mixes cycles — its 'Admission and prerequisites', 'Application timeline' and study-plan sections still print the 2025/26 dates (sub conditione by 30/07/2025, applications close 2:00 p.m. on 20 June 2025, test 2 July 2025, acceptance to euridice@unina.it, 'Study Plan 2025-2026'), and it still describes 90 places without the EU/non-EU split introduced in 2026/27. Use the Department of Social Sciences page and the 2026/27 call PDF instead; the orientation portal remains reliable only for the fact-sheet header and the administrative-vs-lectures site distinction. 5) TWO CONTACT ADDRESSES ARE IN CIRCULATION — info@digisoc.eu is current (2026/27 call and department page) while euridice@unina.it appears on the older 2025/26 material and on international.unina.it; use info@digisoc.eu. 6) AUSTRIAN STUDENT UNION FEE DISCREPANCY — the 2026/27 call says "approx. €25.20 (semester base)" while the department's Costs and Scholarships section says "€26.20 (semester base)". A trivial sum, but it signals that the department page is edited independently of the call; where they differ, the call is the binding document. 7) THE AUSTRIAN COUNTRY-SPECIFIC EQUIVALENCE THRESHOLDS IN ANNEX 3 ARE THE MOST UNDER-ADVERTISED BARRIER and the most likely source of a rejection after a good test score, because they apply to every admitted student regardless of chosen location (all students are matriculated at Innsbruck). Annex 3 itself says the list is only a selection, that further criteria may apply, that eligibility can only be assessed on a complete application, and that "Changes may be made" — so the percentages quoted here (India 75%, Pakistan 85%, Bangladesh 90%, Nepal 90%, Sri Lanka 85%, Nigeria Upper Division) must be re-verified against the current year's Annex 3 and the OeAD list. 8) NO CLOSED DOCUMENT CHECKLIST IS PUBLISHED for the post-test stage; Annex 3 delegates to the University of Innsbruck's admission pages. The list in required_documents is reconstructed from the 2026/27 call's Article 2, the 2025/26 call's explicit upload list and Annex 3's certification rules, so an individual candidate may be asked for more. 9) THE FEE MODEL IS EXCEPTIONAL FOR UNINA AND EASY TO GET WRONG: DIGISOC charges a flat EUR 2,000 annual tuition to everyone, so the University's ordinary rules — total contribution exemption for non-EU citizens, a flat EUR 200 for EU non-Italians, and ISEE-based bands for Italians — DO NOT apply here. No unina.it page states whether ADISURC regional right-to-study grants or ISEE reductions can interact with this flat fee; confirm before budgeting. 10) THE 2026/2027 RANKING STATISTICS ARE ONE YEAR OF DATA FROM THE PROGRAMME'S SECOND-EVER INTAKE and should be treated as indicative, not predictive. The EU side was strikingly under-subscribed (19 of 30 Naples places filled at first allocation, lowest admitted score 23.50/80) while the non-EU side was extraordinarily contested (294 first-choice applicants for 5 Naples places, cut-off 75.00/80). Both figures could move sharply as the programme becomes better known. Note also that the ranking lists are anonymised by pseudonym ID, so no personal data was collected in compiling these numbers. 11) FIRST-CHOICE STRATEGY MATTERS MECHANICALLY, not just statistically: places are allocated by First Option first, and second/third-option rounds are handled by individual e-mail with no further published ranking, so a non-EU candidate who names only Naples has a materially worse expected outcome than one who ranks Olomouc or Innsbruck second and third — the joint degree awarded is identical in all three cases. 12) SUB CONDITIONE IS EU-ONLY — a non-EU applicant who has not yet graduated cannot apply at all, a restriction that did not exist in the 2025/26 call (where sub conditione was open to everyone). 13) ACADEMIC-YEAR BASIS — all dates, seat numbers, fees and thresholds in this record are for A.Y. 2026/2027 and were gathered on 30 Ağustos 2026 from unina.it sources only (scienzesociali.unina.it, orientamento.unina.it, international.unina.it, unina.it, old.unina.it). The consortium site digitalsociety4innovation.eu and the partner universities' pages were deliberately not used as primary evidence, in line with the research brief's unina.it-only restriction; a few consortium URLs are reproduced only because unina.it pages cite them.
