Resmî Eğitim Dili

Fully English-taught. The programme page states "The programme, taught entirely in English, includes a common first year" and "The course is delivered in English"; the Course information block gives "Language in which the course is taught: English", and the apply.iulm.it record gives "Study language: English". There is no Italian-taught component of the curriculum, and no Italian twin course. However, the admission regulations impose a separate Italian-language obligation that is NOT an entry condition but a graduation condition: candidates who are not native Italian speakers and/or non-Italian citizens must declare their Italian level when applying for the admission test and must obtain, by the end of their studies, a qualification attesting to written and oral proficiency in Italian.

  • Non-EU applicants residing abroad apply through the dedicated international platform apply.iulm.it (DreamApply), not through the standard my.iulm.it Italian online procedure. The international procedure page states: "Non-EU applicants living abroad can submit their application on apply.iulm.it, subject to availability of places for the two-year master degree course in which they are interested, by the end of April." So the effective non-EU application cut-off for a.y. 2026/2027 was the end of April 2026.
  • Steps: (1) submit the application on apply.iulm.it with all required documents for an assessment of qualifications
  • (2) pay the application fee (apply.iulm.it lists "Application fee EUR 60 one-time"; the IULM admission regulations separately set the admission test fee at EUR 110)

Kabul koşulları

Akademik geçmiş
  • PLACES: 100 places for a.y. 2026/2027 ("1. Number of places available for the academic year 2026/2027 - 100 places"). The general master's enrolment page tabulates "Fashion Communication and Luxury Strategies - 100 (limited places)". The Italian-language registration page shows the identical figure ("posti disponibili 100"), so there is NO quota discrepancy between the English and Italian pages for this programme. The programme page classifies access as a "Course with planned number of places with selective knowledge testing".
  • PRIOR QUALIFICATION: A first-cycle (Bachelor's) university degree, awarded or about to be awarded, with graduation before the autumn session of a.y. 2025/26, i.e. before 31 December 2026. apply.iulm.it states the entry qualification as "Bachelor's degree. Applicants' academic credentials will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, provided they expect to graduate by December 31st, 2026." The general IULM international prerequisites page requires "a relevant and coherent Bachelor's degree diploma correspondent to EQF (European Qualification Framework) Level 6 and 180 ECTS or more", plus "adequate Italian/English language proficiency" and "specific basic knowledge about core subjects".
  • CURRICULAR REQUIREMENTS (route 1 - degree class): the Bachelor's degree must belong to one of the Italian classes L-1 (Cultural heritage), L-3 (Visual arts, music, performing arts and fashion), L-4 (Industrial design), L-5 (Philosophy), L-10 (Arts), L-11 (Modern languages and cultures), L-12 (Language mediation), L-15 (Tourism), L-18 (Economics and corporate management), L-20 (Communication), L-24 (Psychology), L-31 (Information technology), L-40 (Sociology), or an equivalent foreign degree qualification.

  • 1. A language certificate obtained after 1 January 2024: IELTS with a score of at least 5.5
  • TOEFL iBT with a score of at least 87

  • Restricted-access programme with a selective written admission test. Fee: EUR 110, "not refundable under any circumstances (with the exception of failure to take the test due to the exhaustion of available places or at the behest of the University's governing bodies)". All candidates must apply and pay, including those admitted directly (i.e. the internal no-test track). Non-payment, or payment after the session deadline, precludes admission to the test.
  • SUBJECTS TESTED: "The admission test is aimed at ascertaining the candidates' knowledge in the following subjects: history of fashion and design; history of contemporary art; digital marketing; practical IT activities; English language proficiency to at least level B2."
  • FORMAT AND DURATION: "It consists of a written test in English comprising 44 multiple-choice questions. In addition, there are 16 further questions aimed at testing the candidate's skills in the following areas and which do not count towards the final mark for the purposes of the ranking: text comprehension, logic, numerical and verbal reasoning. There are no penalties in the event of an omitted or incorrect answer. A maximum time limit of 50 minutes is allowed for answering the 60 questions." "The tests will be carried out online." There is NO interview or oral stage for this programme (unlike Hospitality and Tourism Management, which runs a two-stage written plus oral test).

  • YEAR COVERED: All figures are for academic year 2026/2027, taken from the English-language admission regulations "Modalita ammissione LM FASHION 2026_2027_ENG.pdf" (Faculty Board meeting 13/10/2025, revised Faculty Board meeting 3/3/2026), the general master's enrolment pages, and the 2026/2027 tuition regulations (Rector's Decree no. 21472 of 27 November 2025). No 2025/2026 fallback was needed for any field. PROGRAMME NOT REPORTED FULL OR CLOSED BEFORE THE FINAL SESSION - the opposite of Strategic Communication and Marketing, Consumer Behaviour and Communication. Three independent IULM sources confirm this: (1) the 25 May 2026 fourth-session news item names Marketing and Strategic Communication as sold out but lists a live Fashion test date of 9 July 2026; (2) the general master's enrolment page, as displayed for the fifth session, tabulates "Fashion Communication and Luxury Strategies 100 (limited places)" while marking Marketing (Italian and English) and Strategic Communication as "available places have been filled out" and Television, Cinema and New Media as "limited places about to run out"; (3) the apply.iulm.it record for this programme shows only "Application period has ended" with NO "we reached full capacity for this programme" note, whereas the Strategic Communication and Comunicazione d'Impresa records carry exactly that note. A fifth admission test on 10 September 2026 was scheduled and the corresponding registration window (30 June - 31 August 2026) was opened. So all sessions through session 5 were usable. That said, the phrase "limited places" and the regulations' repeated "only if places still available" caveat mean applicants should still treat the November-to-February window (sessions 1-2) as the safe one. NO QUOTA DISCREPANCY BETWEEN LANGUAGE VERSIONS - explicitly checked because it has occurred for other IULM programmes in this research. The English registration page, the Italian registration page and the English admission regulations all state 100 places, and the general master's enrolment table agrees. Verified by fetching the raw HTML of both /en/.../iscrizioni and /it/.../iscrizioni. SESSION-4 TEST DATE CONTRADICTION BETWEEN PAGES. The countdown widget at the top of BOTH the English and the Italian registration pages reads "3rd session 14/05/26 - 4th session 25/06/26 - test dates extra session 10/09/26". This is wrong or at least misleading in two ways: 25 June 2026 is the ENGLISH ASSESSMENT TEST date for session 4, not the admission test, which the admission regulations, the news item of 25 May 2026 and the university-wide test calendar all put at 9 July 2026; and the "extra session" of 10 September 2026 is in fact the FIFTH session, while the genuine exceptional/straordinaria session was 9 June 2026. The widget also omits sessions 1 and 2 and the 9 June exceptional sitting. The admission regulations PDF plus the general master's enrolment page were treated as authoritative over the widget. EXCEPTIONAL SESSION NOT IN THE PROGRAMME REGULATIONS. The "exceptional session" (Italian "sessione straordinaria") with test on 9 June 2026 and enrolment by 29 June 2026 appears only in the university-wide master's calendar and deadlines pages, not in this programme's own admission regulations, which list five numbered sessions. No application/registration deadline for the exceptional session is published on any page consulted; the CFU-certification and merit-documentation deadlines listed in the regulations likewise cover only sessions 1-4. Similarly, the regulations say "5th session: dates to be defined only if admissions test is to be held", and the concrete session-5 dates (test 10 September 2026, enrolment by 18 September 2026, registration 30 June - 31 August 2026) had to be taken from the general pages. FOREIGN-QUALIFICATION TRACK - MERIT POINTS UNCLEAR. For candidates with an Italian qualification the regulations combine a test score with 0-3 merit points and set a pass at 23. For holders of a foreign admission qualification the text speaks only of "a score", with a pass at 20, waiting list from 15, ineligible below 15, and does not say whether merit points from the foreign degree grade are added or whether 20 is a raw test score on the same scale. The regulations also describe the foreign-candidate test only as "an admission test similar to that for candidates with Italian qualifications" without confirming that it is the identical 44+16-question, 50-minute paper; and unlike Strategic Communication there is no separate written case-study format for this track. The link to "the dates of which are published at the following link" in that paragraph is not resolvable from the extracted PDF text. Prospective international applicants should confirm with admission@iulm.it / ammissioni.magistrali@iulm.it. ITALIAN-LANGUAGE GRADUATION REQUIREMENT NOT QUANTIFIED. The regulations require non-native-Italian speakers to obtain "by the end of their course of studies the required qualification attesting to written and oral proficiency in Italian" and refer to a separate document, "Procedures for the assessment and acquisition of knowledge of the Italian language", which was not retrieved. The CEFR level and the accepted certificates for that graduation requirement are therefore unknown; the B2 CILS/CELI/PLIDA standard on the general international-prerequisites page applies expressly to Italian-taught programmes. SECOND-YEAR TRACK NAMING INCONSISTENCY ON THE PROGRAMME PAGE. The "Areas of study" section names the second-year curricula "Global Trends" and "Luxury Strategies", while the "Learning objectives" section on the same page names them "Global Trends" and "Luxury Fashion". apply.iulm.it and the programme title support "Luxury Strategies", which is used here. IULM publishes no separate admission quota, ranking or entry requirement per track, and does not state when or how the track is chosen. FEE FIGURES AND STALE FEE LINKS ON THE ENGLISH PAGE. The tuition_or_fees_link PDF applies to students whose family resides abroad (single contribution band): EUR 10,806 total for a first-year master's student (EUR 2,000 first instalment + EUR 146 regional tax advance on enrolment, EUR 5,300 + EUR 60 due by 14/12/2026, EUR 3,300 due by 31/03/2027), matching the EUR 10,806 shown on apply.iulm.it. Annex 1 of the fee regulations lists Developing Countries under Ministerial Decree no. 166/2025 for whom a reduced band applies, but the exact reduced amount was not extracted here. Students assessed on an Italian ISEE pay according to the separate general fee regulations. NOTE a document-currency defect: the ENGLISH registration page still links the 2025/2026 fee regulations ("IULM - Regolamento Tasse AA 2025-2026.pdf") and the 2025/26 fee summary, while the ITALIAN registration page correctly links the 2026/2027 regulations ("Regolamento Tasse AA 2026-2027-compresso.pdf"). The 2026/2027 summary cited here was reached from the general fees area, not from the programme page. OTHER. Faculty naming is inconsistent on the programme page itself: the "Course information" block says "Faculty: Arts and Tourism" while the registration page header and apply.iulm.it both say "Faculty of Arts, Fashion and Tourism". The apply.iulm.it page returns HTTP 403 to WebFetch and was read via a direct HTTP request instead; its content is quoted as displayed on 6 September 2026, at which point the 2026/27 application period had closed. No programme-specific scholarship or fee-waiver page is linked from the Fashion pages. Unlike Strategic Communication, this programme has no dual-degree route and no 50%-reduced remote-test fee or Recruiting-Agent waiver is mentioned in its regulations.
