For non-EU (Study VISA) applicants, three sequential rounds apply to Master's programmes for the 2026/2027 intake: '1st Call - Early Bird' from 24 November 2025 (00:01 CET) to 22 December 2025 (23:59 CET); '2nd Call - Visa Applicants' from 1 February 2026 (00:01 CET) to 31 March 2026 (23:59 CEST); '3rd Call - Visa Applicants' from 13 April 2026 (00:01 CEST) to 10 May 2026 (23:59 CEST). Non-refundable EUR 30.00 application fee (covers up to two applications). After a positive evaluation, applicants receive an admission letter and must register on Universitaly (UNIME confirms acceptance there) to start the visa process; for a.y. 2026/2027 the Universitaly deadline is stated as 1 September 2026. Two-portal flow: UniME Application Portal (pre-evaluation) then Universitaly (visa confirmation).

  • Access is free (no numerus clausus), but curricular preparation is verified before enrolment by an evaluation committee, per the course regulations. Enrolment requires a three-year (Bachelor's) degree in one of the following classes: L-05 (Philosophy), L-19 (Education and training sciences), L-20 (Communication sciences), L-24 (Psychological sciences and techniques), L-15 (Cultural tourism), L-03 D.A.M.S. (Performing arts), L-39 (Social service sciences), L-31 (Computer sciences and technologies), or equivalent
  • OR another three-year Italian degree that guarantees at least 30 CFU in the following scientific-disciplinary sectors: Linguistics (L-LIN/01), Education Sciences (M-PED), Philosophy (M-FIL), Psychology and Neurosciences (M-PSI), Social Sciences (SPS), Computer Sciences and Computer Engineering (INF, ING-INF)
  • OR a foreign degree recognised as suitable. Candidates are expected to have in-depth knowledge of cognitive processes, methodology of empirical sciences, and adequate notions of neuroscience, philosophy, semiotics, communication, pedagogy, anthropology, linguistics, IT and socio-political fields.

As this is an international course taught in English, the programme's own admission page states a minimum English competence level of B1 (CEFR) is required as an entry qualification. This differs from the general UniME university-wide rule for English-taught programmes, which requires an International English Language Certificate at CEFR B2 level (IELTS 5.5+, TOEFL iBT 72+, Cambridge English B2 First+, PTE General Level 3, or PTE Academic 59+, unless exempt) uploaded to the language section of the UniME Application Portal. This B1-vs-B2 discrepancy between the programme page and the general portal rule could not be resolved from official sources and is flagged as uncertain. No specific Italian-language requirement applies to this English-taught programme.

'The verification of the student's preparation is carried out prior to enrolment in accordance with the procedures indicated in the course regulations' — i.e., a document-based curricular evaluation by an evaluation committee, consistent with the general UNIME Master's admission process (preliminary evaluation application via Esse3/UniME Application Portal, assessed by a Departmental Commission).
