UNIME's 2026/27 application timeline for EU / EU-equivalent / Italians with a foreign qualification applicants is the '6th Call - No Visa Applicants': from 1 July 2026 (00:01 CEST) to 20 November 2026 (23:59 CET). A non-refundable EUR 30.00 application fee applies (covers up to two applications submitted across calls). Applications are submitted on the UniME Application Portal.

  • For non-EU (Study VISA) applicants, UNIME runs three sequential rounds for Bachelor's/Master's programmes in the 2026/27 intake: 1st Call - Early Bird, from 24 November 2025 (00:01 CET) to 22 December 2025 (23:59 CET)
  • 2nd Call - Visa Applicants, from 1 February 2026 (00:01 CET) to 31 March 2026 (23:59 CEST)
  • 3rd Call - Visa Applicants, from 13 April 2026 (00:01 CEST) to 10 May 2026 (23:59 CEST). A non-refundable EUR 30.00 application fee applies. After a positive evaluation, applicants receive an admission letter and must register on the Universitaly portal (the university confirms acceptance there) to proceed with the visa procedure; for a.y. 2026/2027 the Universitaly application deadline is stated as 1 September 2026 on UNIME's admission page. Access is free (no numerus clausus), but curricular requirements are verified before enrolment. Admission requires either: (a) a Bachelor's degree in class L-8 or L-31 (Italian classes) or a 3-year university diploma obtained in Italy, or an equivalent foreign qualification recognised as suitable for direct access to a Master's programme; OR (b) a minimum of 30 CFU in the scientific-disciplinary sectors MATH-02/A, MATH-02/B, MATH-03/A, MATH-04/A, PHYS-03/A, plus a minimum of 40 CFU in IINF-01/A, IINF-04/A, IINF-05/A, INFO-01/A. Initial-preparation verification is considered passed for applicants with a Bachelor's degree final grade not lower than 85/110 (or equivalent for foreign qualifications). If gaps are found, the programme council assigns supplementary (integrative) learning activities that must still lead to the 120-CFU Master's degree with no additional required credits beyond the standard load.

B2-level English is required for admission, attested by passing university proficiency exams/tests or by internationally/European-recognised certificates (per the Regolamento Didattico). At UNIME university level, applicants to English-taught programmes must upload an international English language certificate (CEFR B2) issued by a recognised institution and accepted by UniME to the application's language section, unless exempt under UNIME's exemption categories (details on UNIME's dedicated English Language Requirements page).

No separate written entrance exam or interview is specified for this programme; it is an 'access libero' (open-access, non-restricted) programme. Applicants undergo 'verifica della preparazione iniziale' (initial-preparation check) based on curricular CFU requirements and prior degree grade (see academic_requirements); UNIME also runs periodic 'UnimeStone' English Proficiency Test sessions that can be used to prove the required English level.
