• Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree, a three-year university diploma, or another foreign qualification recognized as suitable by the competent University bodies. The central programme page states that admission requires curricular requirements proving adequate initial preparation. The official programme admission page at `mpce.unipv.eu` states four main requirements: a bachelor's degree in Engineering, a computer engineering/computer science/engineering background proved by the transcript, English knowledge at B2 level, and a strong final ranking or current average. For the curricular check in Computer Engineering, the official programme page lists 36 ECTS in basic subjects and 45 ECTS in characteristic subjects. Candidates whose degree is not fully compliant may still be individually reviewed by the Teaching Committee; they may be admitted, admitted with constraints up to 12 ECTS in the study plan, or asked to pass additional single-course exams before admission.
• Foreign title pre-check: Foreign qualifications must be recognized as suitable by the competent University bodies. The central UNIPV master's admissions page states that the Admission Office evaluates foreign documentation after application. The official programme page for international students requires a full transcript including GPA and grading system, a bachelor's certificate or provisional certificate, and the application support spreadsheet with passed subjects, grades, and credits.

• English B2. The official programme admission page requires knowledge of English at a level no lower than B2 of the Common European Framework. Suitable documentation must be presented upon enrollment. Applicants who already passed an English test to enter a university course, or who passed an English exam worth at least 3 ECTS in their previous studies, do not need to submit a separate language certificate. Applicants from countries where English is an official language, or graduates from universities where courses are taught in English, can request exemption by presenting supporting documentation.
• Language requirement exemption or alternative: Exemptions are explicitly listed on the official programme page: no certificate is required for applicants from countries where English is an official language or for graduates from universities where courses are taught in English, provided they submit supporting documentation. Candidates who already passed an English test for university admission or a previous English exam equivalent to at least 3 ECTS are also exempt from submitting a separate certificate.

The official programme page for international students also asks for a full transcript including GPA and grading system, a bachelor's certificate or provisional certificate, the programme spreadsheet with subjects/grades/credits, and an English certificate only if the bachelor's degree was not taught in English. Visa pre-enrollment stage for non-EU applicants residing abroad: passport, photocard, bachelor's degree, and admission or conditional offer letter. Enrollment finalization stage on the student portal: identity document, Italian tax code, passport photo, and residence permit for non-EU students.
