Kabul Tipi

Restricted access (numero programmato) with a merit-based ranking list, decided by documentary evaluation of the applicant's study career. There is NO entrance exam, no TOLC, no SAT, no CENT-S, no portfolio and no motivation letter. Scoring is fully documentary (up to 40 points). A conditional interview instrument exists: applicants whose previous-studies grade average is below 24/30 are invited to an online interview in English and are admitted only if they pass it. Two eliminatory prerequisites gate the ranking rather than scoring in it — the curricular ECTS requirements and the English B2 certificate. Separate ranking lists are drawn for (a) EU citizens and citizens given parity of treatment and (b) non-EU citizens living abroad. Admission Committee for 2026/27: President Prof. Dr. Angelika Peer; members Dr. Floriano Zini and Dr. Pietro Ibba.

Resmî Eğitim Dili

Fully English. This is a monolingual English-taught programme — 'Courses will be taught in English' (brochure 'At a glance') and 'The official teaching language is English' (admission information). There is NO trilingual (IT/DE/EN) component: no Italian or German course appears in the study plan and no second or third teaching language is defined. Verification against the published 2026/27 course offering confirms the English tag on the courses that carry a language label: Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (9 CP, EN), Foundations of Physical Activity and Health (6 CP, EN), Embedded and Software Systems (6 CP, EN), Security and Privacy in Connected Sports and Health Systems (6 CP, EN), Human Biomechanics for Physical Assistive Robots (6 CP, EN), Wearable Electronics (6 CP, EN), Materials and Technologies for Biomimetic Systems (6 CP, EN), Sensors and Electronic Systems for Sports and Health (12 CP, EN), Humans and Systems (12 CP, EN), Robotic Systems for Sports and Health (12 CP, EN). A few entries in that listing (Bionic Limbs, Introduction to Bioengineering, the 1 CP Seminar) carry no explicit language tag in the course-offering view, but the programme's official monolingual status makes English the operative language throughout. The programme is explicitly marketed as internationally open: 'taught entirely in English with teaching staff as well as students coming from Italy, Europe and the entire world.'

AB / AEA adayları

Three sessions for EU citizens and citizens given parity of treatment (unibz publishes DD/MM/YYYY; ISO normalised below). All deadlines are BY NOON LOCAL TIME. (1) EARLY BIRD APPLICATION: 02/03/2026 - 28/04/2026 = 2 Mart 2026 to 28 Nisan 2026. (2) LATE APPLICATION (EU citizens only): 28/05/2026 - 08/07/2026 = 28 Mayıs 2026 to 8 Temmuz 2026. (3) ADDITIONAL APPLICATION SESSION (EU citizens only, opened by the Faculty in August/September only where places remain): 18/08/2026 - 04/09/2026 = 18 Ağustos 2026 to 4 Eylül 2026 — and this session IS confirmed open for this specific programme on the official Additional Application Session page ('Master in Smart Technologies for Sports and Health — Application possible'). EU applicants may apply for more than one study programme, and an applicant excluded in the first session may apply again in the second. As of the verification date (29 Ağustos 2026) the Early Bird and Late sessions have closed with ranking lists published; only the Additional Application Session remains open, closing 4 Eylül 2026 at noon.

AB / AEA dışı adaylar

ONE window only for non-EU citizens living outside Italy: the EARLY BIRD APPLICATION, 02/03/2026 - 28/04/2026 by noon local time = 2 Mart 2026 to 28 Nisan 2026. 'Only one application period is offered. After the deadline it is not possible to apply anymore.' Non-EU citizens living abroad are excluded from the Late Application and from the Additional Application Session (both are explicitly EU-only), pay a non-refundable €50 application fee, are ranked on a separate ranking list against a separate 7-place quota, and must additionally pre-enrol on the Universitaly portal (one programme only) to obtain the study visa. For a Turkish or other non-EU applicant living abroad and targeting 2026/27, this window has closed and the next opportunity is the Early Bird window of the following academic year — unless the applicant qualifies for parity of treatment (see parity_of_treatment).

Kabul koşulları

Akademik geçmiş
  • ADMISSION TITLE — one of: a bachelor degree or an equivalent qualification under previous regulations obtained in Italy; or an equivalent qualification obtained abroad. A foreign degree must evidence at least 180 ECTS and must give access to a master programme in the awarding country (both points must appear in the Diploma Supplement). CURRICULAR REQUIREMENTS, obtainable through bachelor degrees, master degrees OR single subject courses (so gaps can be filled with standalone university courses): (A) at least 36 ECTS in the scientific-disciplinary sectors INFO-01/A (ex INF/01) Computer Science
  • IINF-05/A (ex ING-INF/05) Information Processing Systems
  • IINF-01/A (ex ING-INF/01) Electronic Engineering
Dil yeterliliği

Single-language regime: 'The official teaching language is English. Therefore, the following language requirements apply, otherwise you will be excluded from the admission procedure.' ENTRY LEVEL (to gain admission): English B2 on the Common European Framework of Reference. That is the entire requirement — no Italian, no German, no second language and no third language. The rule is ELIMINATORY (failure to certify means exclusion from the admission procedure, not a lower rank) but it carries NO SCORE ('The certificate of English language proficiency does not give a score but is an admission prerequisite'). Proficiency is demonstrated in the application portal under 'upload language certificates' and/or 'enrol for language exams', after creating an application under 'create/manage applications'. Administrative distinction: if the final certificate was awarded by an Italian public institution a self-declaration is required; if awarded by a foreign public institution a scanned copy of the original must be uploaded. Certificates that cannot be uploaded may be e-mailed as PDF or delivered in person to the Language Centre by the application deadline. Free Language Centre courses remain available to enrolled students (intensive courses before the first term and between terms, plus 40-hour courses during the semesters), but for this programme they are an optional benefit rather than a requirement — the university encourages plurilingualism and students may voluntarily pick up Italian or German. Warning specific to the currently open Additional Application Session: no Language Centre language exams are offered for that session, so an external certificate is the only route; unibz recommends LanguageCert, TOEFL or IELTS for speed.

Sınav / değerlendirme

NONE. There is no unibz aptitude test, no TOLC-I, no CENT-S, no SAT/GRE/GMAT and no written subject test for this programme. The only examinations connected with admission are (a) the optional unibz Language Centre English exams, for applicants who choose that route to prove B2 — Early Bird session: online exams 16/03/2026 (registration 02-09/03/2026) and 16-17 and 20-21/04/2026 (registration 24/03-08/04/2026); Late session: online exams 22-26/06/2026 (registration 28/05-15/06/2026); and (b) the conditional online interview in English for applicants below the 24/30 average (see 'interview'). IMPORTANT for the currently open Additional Application Session: 'the unibz Language Centre does not offer language exams for this application session' — applicants in the 18/08-04/09/2026 window must bring an external certificate, and unibz explicitly recommends LanguageCert, TOEFL or IELTS because results arrive quickly.

Hazırlanacak belgeler

    • AT APPLICATION, online via the Application Portal (https://aws.unibz.it/exup/): (1) an account plus a valid ID card or passport, FRONT AND BACK — 'if your document is invalid, incomplete or unreadable, you will be excluded from the admission procedure'
    • (2) the completed online form
    • (3) THE STUDY CAREER EXCEL FILE — both worksheets ('Admission title' and 'Other university courses') filled in and uploaded as an excel file, downloaded together with a filled-in PDF example from the portal

  • Data year: all figures are for academic year 2026/27; the admission-information PDF and brochure both carry 'Subject to change. Latest update: 30.07.2026'. Verified as of 29 Ağustos 2026. TIMING: the Early Bird and Late sessions for 2026/27 have CLOSED with signed ranking lists published; the Additional Application Session (18/08-04/09/2026, EU citizens and citizens given parity of treatment only) is confirmed OPEN for this programme at the verification date and closes 4 Eylül 2026 at noon. (1) INTERVIEW-DATE CONFLICT: the Early Bird ranking list contradicts itself, citing 'the interview of May 11, 2026' in its criteria header but 'May 18' twice in its results section; the admission-information PDF and brochure both say 18/05/2026, so 18 May is treated as correct and 11 May as an editing error. (2) SOURCE DEFECT: the official admission-information PDF contains a truncated sentence, 'Knowledge of the teaching level (at least B2 level of the European reference', which is reproduced verbatim in both ranking lists; the intended meaning ('knowledge of the teaching language at B2 of the CEFR') is unambiguous from the Language requirements section, but the primary source is literally incomplete on this point. The same PDF also duplicates the paragraph 'If you have not yet graduated at the time of application' twice in a row. (3) FIRST-INTAKE YEAR is inferred: the course-contents PDF is scoped to 'Coorti dal 2025-2026' and the study-career Excel template is named for 2025-26, which together indicate a first cohort in 2025/26, but unibz publishes no explicit 'new programme' declaration for this course. Probing the course-offering endpoint for earlier academic years was inconclusive (all years return HTTP 301 redirects). (4) EXIT LANGUAGE LEVEL: no graduation language requirement is published anywhere in this programme's documents, and the Language Centre's trilingual-study page states entry rules only; the conclusion 'no exit requirement' rests on the absence of any published rule rather than on an explicit statement, and the Faculty's Italian-language study regulations were not reviewed. (5) SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNTS are unconfirmed — the unibz study-grants page verified for this programme states no figures at all; the commonly cited €1,680-€6,960 range and any merit-average threshold come from secondary summaries and must be checked against the annual provincial call. (6) NO SEPARATE CALL/MANIFESTO was found in English; a Rector's decree may exist only in the Italian albo. (7) COURSE-LANGUAGE TAGS: three entries in the 2026/27 course-offering listing (Bionic Limbs, Introduction to Bioengineering, the 1 CP Seminar) carry no explicit EN tag in that view; given the programme's declared monolingual English status this is treated as a listing gap, not evidence of another teaching language. (8) NO NUMERIC QUOTA is published for the Additional Application Session — it draws on unfilled EU places (10 of the 18 EU places were still unused after the two published sessions). (9) PDF SLUG TRAP: the programme page URL uses 'sports-health' while the CoursesPDF assets use 'for-sports-and-health'; the short-slug PDF URLs return HTML 404 pages that can be mistaken for valid PDFs by automated fetchers. (10) TURKISH-APPLICANT RELEVANCE: Türkiye's status as a Lisbon Convention signatory (hence ARDI + CIMEA Verification, case (b)) is derived from the convention's membership list, not stated by unibz for this programme. (11) The 140 ECTS conditional-admission threshold and the OFA rules referenced in the field schema belong to other unibz programmes and do not apply here.
  • Call for applications link note: No separate call for applications / bando / manifesto degli studi document is published in English for this programme. The function of the official call is performed by the programme's admission-information document (https://www.unibz.it/assets/CoursesPDF/master-in-smart-technologies-for-sports-and-health_admission-information_en_GB.pdf) together with the signed ranking-list decrees, which restate the admission criteria in full and carry the Admission Committee signatures (President Prof. Dr. Angelika Peer; members Dr. Floriano Zini and Dr. Pietro Ibba) and the 60-day appeal notice to the Bozen-Bolzano Administrative Court. Related official pages: applicant portal https://www.unibz.it/en/applicants/studying-at-unibz ; application portal https://aws.unibz.it/exup/ ; Additional Application Session https://www.unibz.it/en/applicants/additional-application-session/ . [uncertain] — a Rector's decree formally opening the 2026/27 admission procedure may exist in the Italian-language albo/registry but was not located in English.
  • Tuition and fees link note: Total tuition fees are €1,200 per year, in two instalments: 1st instalment €600, which INCLUDES the €16 revenue stamp (marca da bollo) and is the payment that secures the study place after admission; 2nd instalment €600, to be paid by March of the following year. Delayed payment of the second instalment results in a fine. Unpaid fees block exam-taking and any transfer to another university or study programme. No reimbursement if you drop out, interrupt your studies or are excluded. EXEMPTIONS: students with a disability recognised under article 3, paragraph 1 of Law no. 104/1992, or with a disability of 66% or more (the disability certificate issued by the health authorities must be handed in at the beginning of the academic year); and foreign students who have been granted a scholarship from the Italian government. Students who receive a scholarship from the Autonomous Province of Bozen-Bolzano are entitled to a REFUND of the tuition fees paid. Fees information: https://guide.unibz.it/en/study-career/general-information/fees/ and the programme's own admission-information PDF at https://www.unibz.it/assets/CoursesPDF/master-in-smart-technologies-for-sports-and-health_admission-information_en_GB.pdf
