Kampüs

Bruneck-Brunico, in the Pustertal-Pusteria valley, roughly 80 km north-east of Bolzano - NOT the Bolzano main campus, NOT NOI Techpark Bolzano and NOT Brixen-Bressanone. 'Campus: Bruneck-Brunico' appears in the 'At a glance' box of every archived cycle from 2022/23 to 2025/26. Teaching was split between the town-centre main building, Universitaetsplatz 1 / Piazzetta dell'Universita 1, 39031 Bruneck-Brunico (Faculty of Economics and Management Secretariat, +39 0474 013600, tourism@unibz.it), and NOI Techpark Bruneck-Brunico, Europastrasse 9 / via Europa 9, opened in 2023 on the town's former industrial area. unibz's own Master Online Info Sessions page still says lectures 'take place between the main building in the city centre and the NOI Techpark Bruneck-Brunico'. TWO IMPORTANT COMPLICATIONS. First, the Bruneck-Brunico campus itself is being wound down as a teaching site: on 17 April 2026 the South Tyrolean provincial government announced that university teaching moves from Bruneck to Bozen, that the sister Bachelor in Tourism, Sport and Event Management relocates to Bozen-Bolzano from 2027/28, and that Bruneck is to be strengthened as a research location - unibz's live bachelor page already warns 'Students beginning their studies in the 2026/27 academic year at the Bruneck-Brunico Campus will continue their studies at the Bozen-Bolzano Campus starting from the second year, 2027/28.' Second, salto.bz reported on the same day that 'il master era gia stato spostato a Bolzano per carenza di iscritti' (the master had already been moved to Bolzano for lack of enrolments), which conflicts with every unibz page - all of which still say Bruneck-Brunico. The most likely reading is that the surviving 2025-entry cohort is being taught out in Bolzano, but unibz has published nothing to confirm this, so treat the physical location of the remaining teach-out classes as unverified. unibz's own campus page is meanwhile stale: it still states 'In Bruneck-Brunico we offer two study programmes: the Bachelor in Tourism, Sports and Event Management and the Master in in Tourism Management' (unibz's own duplicated 'in'), advertising a programme that accepts no applications.

Kabul Tipi

NOT APPLICABLE FOR 2026/27 - there is no admission procedure, no application window, no ranking list and no quota, because the programme is not activated. HISTORICAL REGIME, in force unchanged from the first intake to the last: RESTRICTED ACCESS (numerus clausus) decided by a DOCUMENTS-ONLY selection. There was no entrance examination of any kind, no TOLC, no CENT-S, no SAT, no GMAT/GRE requirement, no portfolio, no video, no motivation letter and no interview - the Admission Committee simply scored the file. Verbatim: 'The selection procedure involves the following evaluation criteria: a) Average marks (max. 80 points) ... b) Additional language skills ... c) Disciplinary skills'. A language pre-check acted as a hard filter before scoring ('otherwise you will be excluded from the admission procedure'), as did a legible identity document ('if your document is invalid, incomplete or unreadable, you will be excluded from the admission procedure'). This makes it one of the lowest-friction admission processes at unibz - a fact worth recording precisely because the programme still failed to fill and was suspended.

Resmî Eğitim Dili

THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT NUANCE IN THE RECORD, AND THE ANSWER CHANGES BY COHORT. The programme was TRILINGUAL (German / Italian / English) for its first three intakes and ENGLISH-ONLY for its fourth and final intake. (1) Cohorts 2022/23, 2023/24 and 2024/25: 'Courses will be taught in: German, Italian, and English (trilingual)' - verbatim from the 'At a glance' box of the archived programme page in December 2021, January 2023 and April 2024, with the matching admission rule 'The official teaching languages are German, Italian and English.' The study-plan PDF for students enrolled from 2022/23 prints every course title in all three languages (e.g. 'Managing Tourism Destination / Gestione delle Destinazioni Turistiche / Destinationsmanagement'). (2) Cohort 2025/26 - the last one: 'Courses will be taught in: English' and 'The official teaching language is English', verbatim from the archived March 2025 page. The study-plan PDF for students enrolled from 2025/26 prints course titles in ENGLISH ONLY, and the live Course Offering listing for academic year 2026/27 shows every single one of the ten scheduled course units flagged 'EN' - Data Management and Analytics, Economics of Sustainable Tourism, Thesis and Report Writing Skills, International Tourism Management Sustainability and Perspectives, Trends and Issues in Tourism Management, Culture Heritage and Creative Territory Management, Smart Tourism Laboratory, Revenue Management and Customer Profitability, Corporate Finance for Tourism Businesses and the Internship (Commercial Practice and Law in Tourism is listed without a language flag, the only gap). So in the one year in which an English-only candidate could genuinely have taken this degree from start to finish - the 2025/26 intake - the programme was 100% English, and that is precisely the year unibz stopped recruiting for it. For 2026/27 the question is academic: no one can enrol. Do not describe the programme as trilingual in a dataset aimed at applicants, and do not describe it as English-taught without stating that the English-taught version accepted exactly one cohort.

  • NONE FOR 2026/27 - no Early Bird session, no Late Application session and no Additional Application Session exists for this programme, and no application can be submitted in any window. Confirmed twice on 29 Ağustos 2026: the programme is absent from every 2026/27 ranking list, and it is absent from the 2026/27 Additional Application Session running 18 August to 4 September 2026, whose Faculty of Economics and Management block lists only Accounting and Finance, Data Analytics for Economics and Management, Entrepreneurship and Innovation and Public Policy and Innovative Governance. HISTORICAL WINDOWS, all closing at 12:00 noon local time and written by unibz as DD/MM/YYYY, normalised to ISO here. Final 2025/26 intake: Early Bird 3 Mart 2025 to 6 Mayıs 2025
  • Late Application (EU only) 28 Mayıs 2025 to 17 Temmuz 2025. 2024/25: Early Bird 1 Mart 2024 to 7 Mayıs 2024
  • Late 29 Mayıs 2024 to 18 Temmuz 2024. 2023/24: Early Bird 1 Mart 2023 to 27 Nisan 2023

NONE FOR 2026/27 - non-EU citizens living abroad have no application route to this programme; the single window they had in previous cycles was withdrawn together with the whole admission procedure, so no study visa can be obtained on the basis of this degree. HISTORICALLY there was exactly ONE opportunity per cycle, the Early Bird window only, with no second chance: 3 Mart 2025 to 6 Mayıs 2025 (12:00 noon local time) for the final 2025/26 intake, 1 Mart 2024 to 7 Mayıs 2024 for 2024/25, 1 Mart 2023 to 27 Nisan 2023 for 2023/24 and 1 Mart 2022 to 28 Nisan 2022 for the first intake. Verbatim: 'Only one application period is offered. After the deadline it is not possible to apply anymore. Application fee: EUR 50.' Non-EU applicants resident abroad were barred from the Late Application, from any Additional Session and from the 2025 Super Late Session, all of which were EU-only. PRACTICAL NOTE FOR TURKISH APPLICANTS RESIDENT IN TURKEY, now historical but instructive: only 2 non-EU places existed in the entire cycle; the English B2 proof had to be in hand by early May, and the June Language Centre exam session fell after that deadline and was therefore unusable; and the whole downstream chain (ranking list, first instalment, Universitaly pre-enrolment, consular visa) had to fit between late May and the enrolment cut-off. A Turkish national already holding an Italian work, family, humanitarian, asylum or religious residence permit fell instead into the parity-of-treatment category and had access to the 28-place EU pool and both EU sessions - see parity_of_treatment.

Kabul koşulları

Akademik geçmiş

NOT APPLICABLE FOR 2026/27 (no intake). Requirements as published for the final 2025/26 intake, which were identical in substance across all four cycles. TWO ROUTES. ROUTE 1 - a bachelor degree in one of these Italian degree classes, or an equivalent qualification gained abroad or in Italy under previous regulations: L-14 Legal services; L-15 Tourism; L-16 Administration; L-18 Economics and Business Administration; L-33 Economics; L-36 Political sciences and international relations; L-41 Statistics. Footnote: 'Italian citizen who have obtained their degree abroad must also have a secondary school leaving qualification.' ROUTE 2 - 'a Bachelor in a different degree class to the ones listed above or an equivalent qualification gained abroad. At least 6 credit points must have been acquired in one or more of these subject areas: Business Administration, Economics, Statistics.' That 6 CFU curricular minimum is the single make-or-break number for a candidate from an unrelated field, and unibz published the exhaustive list of qualifying scientific-disciplinary sectors in BOTH the post-2024-reform codes and their pre-reform equivalents: ECON-01/A (ex SECS-P/01) Economics; ECON-02/A (ex SECS-P/02) Economic Policy; ECON-03/A (ex SECS-P/03) Public Economics; STEC-01/A (ex SECS-P/04) History of Economic Thought; ECON-05/A (ex SECS-P/05) Econometrics; ECON-04/A (ex SECS-P/06) Applied Economics; ECON-06/A (ex SECS-P/07) Business administration, Accounting and Performance Measurement; ECON-07/A (ex SECS-P/08) Management; ECON-09/A (ex SECS-P/09) Finance; ECON-08/A (ex SECS-P/10) Organization Studies; ECON-09/B (ex SECS-P/11) Financial Markets and Institutions; STEC-01/B (ex SECS-P/12) Economic History; ECON-10/A (ex SECS-P/13) Commodity Sciences; STAT-01/A (ex SECS-S/01) Statistics; STAT-01/B (ex SECS-S/02) Statistics for experimental and technological research; STAT-02/A (ex SECS-S/03) Economic statistics; STAT-03/A (ex SECS-S/04) Demography; STAT-03/B (ex SECS-S/05) Social statistics; STAT-04/A (ex SECS-S/06) Mathematical Methods for Economy, Finance and Actuarial Sciences; IEGE-01/A (ex ING-IND/35) Business and management engineering. TWO ANTI-GAMING RULES that a careless reader would miss: 'Courses included in the Master of Science in Tourism and Management course syllabus are not valid for the acquisition of the 6 CFU required as a curricular requisite for admission' (note unibz's own garbled rendering of its programme name), and 'Courses considered valid for the acquisition of the aforementioned 6 CFUs may not be used to shorten one's career' - i.e. the credits used to qualify cannot later be recycled as exemptions. A foreign bachelor also had to evidence at least 180 ECTS and give access to a master programme in the home system. National rule: 'simultaneous enrolment in a maximum of 2 programmes is possible (however, the two programmes must not belong to the same class, e.g., LM-77/LM-77 and must differ for at least 2/3 of the course contents).'

Dil yeterliliği

TWO COMPLETELY DIFFERENT REGIMES, split by cohort - conflating them is the single easiest way to get this programme wrong. FINAL 2025/26 INTAKE (English-only): 'The official teaching language is English. Therefore, the following language requirements apply, otherwise you will be excluded from the admission procedure: Entry level (to gain admission) English: B2. The levels of the Common European Framework of Reference apply.' That is the entire requirement. There is NO second language, NO third language, NO B1 threshold for sitting exams, and NO EXIT LEVEL published anywhere on the page - the 'Exit level (to graduate)' block that appeared in every trilingual cycle was deleted along with the trilingual regime, so a student in the final cohort has no language hurdle standing between them and graduation. TRILINGUAL INTAKES 2022/23, 2023/24 AND 2024/25: 'The official teaching languages are German, Italian and English. Therefore, the following language requirements apply, otherwise you will be excluded from the admission procedure: Entry level (to gain admission) 1st language: C1, 2nd language: B2, 3rd language: no level required. A B1 level in the third language is the minimum requirement for taking curricular examinations in that specific language. Exit level (to graduate) 1st language: C1, 2nd language: C1, 3rd language: B1.' Position rather than identity fixed the level - 'Your first language is the language in which you have the highest level of proficiency (C1). Your third language is instead the language in which you are weaker (or in which you are an absolute beginner)' - and certification was 'mandatory for the first and second language, for the third language it is recommended (from B1 onwards)'. Free Language Centre courses supported the third language, 'aim[ing] to help the students reach the level B1 in the third language after the first study year'. Note the asymmetry with the sister Bachelor in Tourism, Sport and Event Management, which remains trilingual: the master's C1 first-language bar was one notch above the B2/B2 pattern used by several unibz bachelors, making the trilingual master harder to enter linguistically than the bachelor that feeds it.

Sınav / değerlendirme

NONE - IN ANY CYCLE, AND NONE FOR 2026/27. This programme never used an entrance examination. There was no unibz-run admission test, no TOLC-I or TOLC-E, no CENT-S, no GMAT or GRE requirement and no subject test; admission rested entirely on the documentary score described in selection_scoring. The only examinations ever connected to the application were LANGUAGE proficiency exams run by the unibz Language Centre, which are a way of proving a language level rather than a selection test, and which candidates could book through the application portal under 'enrol for language exams'. Their dates for the final 2025/26 intake were: 17 Mart 2025 (registration 3 Mart 2025 to 9 Mart 2025) and 16, 17, 22 and 23 April 2025 (registration 24 Mart 2025 to 8 Nisan 2025) for the Early Bird window; 23 Haziran 2025 to 27 Haziran 2025 (registration 28 Mayıs 2025 to 15 Haziran 2025) for the Late window. For the 2024/25 cycle the equivalent dates were 18 Mart 2024 (registration 1 Mart 2024 to 10 Mart 2024), 17, 18, 19, 22 and 23 April 2024 (registration 25 Mart 2024 to 9 Nisan 2024), and 24 to 29 June 2024 (registration 29 Mayıs 2024 to 16 Haziran 2024). Note that unibz's Language Centre can only certify at B2 - 'Please note that you can only register for B2 level exams' - which was exactly the entry level required in the final English-only cycle, so this route was sufficient for admission but could not deliver the C1 that earned the 3 bonus points. No exam of any kind is scheduled for 2026/27 on this programme.

  • 1) HEADLINE, AND THE POINT OF THIS RECORD: the programme is NOT available for 2026/27 and must be surfaced to users as unavailable. unibz states it explicitly, and seven independent signals corroborate it - the notice itself, the deleted 'Application and Admission' section, the deleted 'At a glance' box, the empty admission PDF in EN/DE/IT, the gutted brochure, absence from every 2026/27 ranking list, and absence from the 2026/27 Additional Application Session. Confidence: very high. 2) THIS LOOKS LIKE PERMANENT DISCONTINUATION, NOT A PAUSE - and that is a stronger claim than could be made about the other suspended unibz programme. unibz's own wording is year-specific ('will not be offered in the 2026/27 academic year') and it has published no decree, news item or press release announcing or explaining the decision. But the surrounding facts point one way: on 17 April 2026 the South Tyrolean provincial government decided that university TEACHING leaves Bruneck-Brunico for Bozen and that Bruneck becomes a research location; the sister bachelor relocates to Bozen from 2027/28; unibz's Course Offering schedules the last teaching for this master in 2026/27 and shows an empty 2027/28; and salto.bz reports the master was already moved for lack of enrolments. Recommended label: 'not offered in 2026/27, no announced return, campus being wound down as a teaching site'. Do not state flatly that it is abolished - unibz has not said so. 3) WHY IT CLOSED, as far as the record supports: chronic under-recruitment. The programme carried an explicit viability floor of 15 new enrolments in three of its four cycles; it needed a third, Super Late ranking round published 10 October 2025 - after teaching had begun - to fill its final cohort; and provincial figures put the whole Bruneck student body at about 240, down nearly a third in ten years. Actual enrolment numbers for this master are NOT published and could not be recovered. 4) LAST INTAKE was 2025/26, established from the archived programme page (a complete admission section with 2025 dates), from the brochure cover '2025/26', from the study plan 'for students enrolled starting from the a.y. 2025/2026', and from the 2026/27 course offering containing only second-year subjects. FIRST INTAKE was 2022/23, established from the study plan 'from the a.y. 2022/2023', the December 2021 page advertising the March-April 2022 window, and the absence of any earlier snapshot - four intakes in total. 5) THE LANGUAGE HISTORY IS THE BIGGEST TRAP IN THIS RECORD. Search engines, aggregator sites and cached copies of the brochure still describe this as a TRILINGUAL master at EUR 1,350 per year, because that was true for 2022/23-2024/25. It was ENGLISH-ONLY at about EUR 1,200 for its final 2025/26 intake. Both statements are true of different cohorts and neither is true of 2026/27. Anything presented to an English-speaking applicant must be dated. 6) CAMPUS CONFLICT, unresolved: every unibz page says Bruneck-Brunico; salto.bz says the master had already been moved to Bolzano for lack of enrolments. The likeliest reconciliation is that the teach-out classes are held in Bolzano while unibz's static pages were never updated, but no unibz source confirms this and the timetable was not checked. 7) SCRAPER TRAPS, several and severe. The programme is still listed in the Faculty of Economics and Management navigation menu among active programmes; it is still listed on unibz's general Course Offering index; the Bruneck-Brunico campus page still names it as one of two programmes taught there; the Master Online Info Sessions page still describes it as based at Bruneck-Brunico; and the admission-information and brochure PDFs still return HTTP 200. Any pipeline keying on menu presence, index presence, PDF existence or HTTP status will misclassify this programme as open. The reliable machine-readable signals are the empty admission PDF, the missing 'Application and Admission' and 'At a glance' blocks, and absence from the ranking-list index and the Additional Application Session page. A further, subtler trap: because the live page no longer LINKS to the study plan or course offering, a crawler that follows links will conclude those pages do not exist, yet both still resolve by direct URL and both contain current data. 8) SEARCH-ENGINE SNIPPETS FOR THE BROCHURE URL ARE STALE. Queries still return 'Master in Tourism Management 2025/26 At a glance Degree class: LM-77' with places, trilingual teaching and EUR 1,350 against the brochure PDF path; the file at that path today contains none of that. Do not scrape snippets as content. 9) NO RANKING LIST SURVIVES from any cycle - unibz keeps only the current year online and the 2025 PDFs now 404 - so there is no admitted-score floor, no applicant count and no exclusion count, and no evidence that either of the 2 non-EU places was ever taken. The selection rubric was published only as component maxima (80 + 3 + 15, plus 2 for cum laude); no pass mark, cut-off or internal weighting of the 15-point disciplinary block was ever published. 10) NO STUDY MANIFESTO OR PROGRAMME-SPECIFIC REGULATION could be located in any language, so the founding parameters of the programme are reconstructed from the earliest archived page rather than from a legal instrument, and no instrument formalising the suspension was found. 11) THE GERMAN AND ITALIAN NAMES are only partly attested. The Italian 'Laurea magistrale in Management del Turismo' is still indexed against the Italian URL from the trilingual era; no single official German programme name was confirmed, only German course titles inside the trilingual study plan. All four current language versions serve the English name. 12) INTERNAL INCONSISTENCIES IN UNIBZ'S OWN TEXT, recorded so they are not mistaken for research errors: the same 12 CP block is called 'Regional Development and New Digital Economy' in the study plan body, 'Regional Development and Digitalisation' in its footnote and 'Regional Development and Digitalization' in the 2022/23 plan; the entry requirements refer to a 'Master of Science in Tourism and Management'; the credential rules attribute the Statement of Comparability to ARDI rather than CIMEA; the student representative differs between the live page, the brochure and the archived page; and the 2022/23 and 2023/24 pages carry the truncated sentence 'A permit to stay for study reasons or a visa for tourism is not.' 13) CERTIFICATE RULES AND SCHOLARSHIP FIGURES reproduced here are university-wide and were not re-verified against a programme-specific source, the programme-specific source having been emptied. 14) EXIT LANGUAGE LEVELS for the final cohort are recorded as 'none published', which is an argument from absence: the 'Exit level (to graduate)' block simply does not appear on the 2025/26 page, as is normal for unibz's English-only masters, but no positive statement confirming there is no graduation language requirement was found.
  • Programme page link note: https://www.unibz.it/en/faculties/economics-management/master-tourism-management - the canonical page, and English-only in substance: the German (https://www.unibz.it/de/faculties/economics-management/master-tourism-management), Italian (https://www.unibz.it/it/...) and Ladin (https://www.unibz.it/lld/...) URLs resolve but each carries a banner saying the page is unavailable in that language and points back to English, and all four serve the English title 'Master in Tourism Management'. The live page states 'This page is only available in English'. WHAT THE LIVE PAGE NO LONGER CONTAINS, all verified on 29 Ağustos 2026: no 'At a glance' box, no 'Application and Admission' section, no study-plan or course-content links, no Course Offering links, no brochure link and no admission-information link - the only outbound links left are the three language variants. Its 'Course structure' widget is stuck on 'Loading structure'. • Call for applications link note: No call, bando or manifesto exists for 2026/27 - which is itself confirmation of the suspension, since unibz publishes no admission call for a programme it does not activate, and the programme appears in no 2026/27 ranking decree. unibz does not publish English-language calls for its degree programmes in any case: the operative legal instruments are the signed ranking decrees and the university Admission Regulations (Regolamento di ammissione / Zulassungsordnung), available in Italian and German only through the records portal linked from the programme page as 'Regulations (in Italian and German only)' - https://records.unibz.it/regolamenti and https://records-unibz.siavcloud.com/regolamenti_en . The admission rubric cited on the programme page refers to that instrument by article: 'as provided for in art. 26 paragraph 2, letter b) of the admission regulations in force'. No Study Manifesto (Manifesto degli studi) for this master could be located in unibz's manifesto archive, in contrast with older programmes such as the 2019 manifestos for the Bachelor in Tourism, Sport and Event Management and the Professional Bachelor in Wood Engineering, so the programme appears to postdate the period in which unibz published per-programme manifestos as PDFs. No decree, senate resolution or news item formalising or explaining the suspension was found in English, German or Italian during this check. [uncertain]
  • Tuition and fees link note: Approximately EUR 1,200 per academic year in the final 2025/26 cycle, per the fee section published on the programme page: 'Fees amount to EUR 1200. 1st instalment (EUR 600): includes the revenue stamp of EUR 16. 2nd instalment (EUR 600): must be paid by March of the following year.' A FEE CUT ACCOMPANIED THE ENGLISH-ONLY RELAUNCH: the trilingual cycles were priced higher, with the 'At a glance' box reading 'Tuition fees: EUR 1350 per year' in 2022/23 and 'ca. EUR 1350 per year' in 2023/24 and 2024/25, against 'ca. EUR 1200 per year' in 2025/26 - so the figure genuinely changed and any quotation must be dated. Standing conditions: 'Delayed payment of the second instalment will result in a fine being levied. If you have not paid the tuition fees, you will be unable to take exams and will not be able to transfer to other universities or other study programmes.' No refund on drop-out, interruption or exclusion. EXEMPTIONS: students with a disability recognised under article 3, paragraph 1 of Law No 104/1992 or with a disability of 66% or more, on presentation of the health-authority certificate at the start of the academic year; and foreign students granted a scholarship from the Italian government. Holders of a scholarship from the Autonomous Province of Bozen-Bolzano receive a refund of the fees. The 2024/25 page phrased the exemption as covering 'the tuition fees (and the provincial tax)'. Reference pages: https://guide.unibz.it/en/study-career/general-information/fees and https://www.unibz.it/en/applicants/studying-at-unibz . For 2026/27 these fees are payable only by the continuing teach-out cohort, never by a new entrant.
