Brixen-Bressanone (Faculty of Education campus, Regensburger Allee 16 / viale Ratisbona 16, 39042 Brixen-Bressanone; Faculty Secretariat at Kreuzgasse 7 / via della Croce 7). The 'At a glance' box states simply 'Campus: Brixen-Bressanone'. This is unibz's second-largest campus, about 40 km north of Bolzano, and is German-Italian in character rather than English-facing. Not Bozen-Bolzano, not NOI Techpark, not Bruneck-Brunico, not Trento, not Innsbruck. IMPORTANT: the compulsory admission interview is also held physically in Brixen-Bressanone, so the campus location is part of the admission burden, not only of the study experience.

Kabul Tipi
Restricted access (numero programmato / limited places) with a merit-based ranking list, selected by INTERVIEW plus documentary assessment. There is NO entrance exam, no TOLC, no CENT-S, no SAT and no portfolio. The instruments are: an eliminatory language-eligibility gate (B2 in the 1st language + B2 in the 2nd), a cover/motivation letter of maximum 6,000 characters, a compulsory admission interview worth up to 80 points, and an assessment of prior social-work experience worth up to 20 points. Separate ranking lists are drawn up for (a) EU citizens and citizens given parity of treatment and (b) non-EU citizens living abroad. This is one of only a handful of unibz bachelor programmes where a live interview — not school grades — is the dominant selection instrument; school-leaving grades carry NO points in this rubric at all.
Resmî Eğitim Dili
Trilingual (Italian / German / English). The 'At a glance' box states: 'Courses will be taught in: Italian, German and English (trilingual)' — note Italian is listed FIRST here, unlike the Bolzano programmes. English is the SMALLEST of the three languages, not the main one. Per-module language tags from the official course-offering pages (2026/27, cohort 'enrolled from 2025') give: YEAR 1 (61 CP) — German 17 CP (Foundations of General Education 4; Qualitative Research Methods 7; Child and Adolescent Psychiatry 4; LAB Reflection on Social Pedagogical Practice 2), Italian 18 CP (Foundations of Social Education 4; LAB Pedagogy of Play and Narration 2; Foundations of General Sociology 5; Quantitative Research Methods 7), English only 8 CP (Anthropological Research for Socio-Educational Interventions 4; Introduction to Methods and Fields of Social Education 4), plus one 10 CP module tagged IT+DE (Foundations of Psychology for Educational Work) and 8 CP language-neutral (free choice 4, internship 4). YEAR 2 (60 CP) — German 14 CP (Lifelong Learning 9; Intercultural Education and Intersectionality 5), one 9 CP module tagged EN+DE (Inclusion, Marginality and Socio-Educational Practice), 27 CP tagged IT+EN (Sustainability and Global Citizenship 10; Social Policy and Services 8; Physical Activity, Health and Wellbeing 9), and 10 CP internship. YEAR 3 (59 CP) — per-module languages not yet published for the 2026/27 offering (the 2025 cohort only reaches year 3 in 2027/28); the only certain English element is 'English for Professional Purposes' 3 CP, alongside 21 CP language-neutral (free choice 8, internship 10, final exam 3). CONCLUSION: German and Italian each carry roughly twice the English-only credit load in year 1, both are compulsory from the FIRST semester, and there is no English-only pathway at any point. — the credit split is reconstructed from per-module language tags on the course-offering pages combined with the brochure study plan; the two sub-courses of 'Foundations of Psychology for Educational Work' (10 CP, tagged IT+DE) could not be resolved individually, and year-3 tags are unpublished.

Three sessions for EU citizens and citizens given parity of treatment (unibz publishes DD/MM/YYYY; ISO normalised below). All deadlines are 'by noon local time'. EARLY BIRD APPLICATION: 02/03/2026 - 28/04/2026 = 2 Mart 2026 to 28 Nisan 2026. LATE APPLICATION (EU only): 28/05/2026 - 08/07/2026 = 28 Mayıs 2026 to 8 Temmuz 2026. ADDITIONAL APPLICATION SESSION (EU only, opened by the Faculty in August/September if places remain — and it WAS opened for this programme in 2026/27): 18/08/2026 - 04/09/2026 = 18 Ağustos 2026 to 4 Eylül 2026. EU applicants may apply for more than one study programme, and an applicant excluded in one session may apply again in the next. VERIFIED 29 Ağustos 2026: the Additional Application Session is the only window currently open and closes at noon on 4 Eylül 2026, with the admission interview on 11 Eylül 2026 — so an applicant entering now has about six days to apply and must already hold B2/B2 language proof, since no Language Centre exam session is scheduled for this window.

ONE window only for non-EU citizens living outside Italy: the EARLY BIRD APPLICATION, 02/03/2026 - 28/04/2026 by noon local time = 2 Mart 2026 to 28 Nisan 2026. 'Only one application period is offered. After the deadline it is not possible to apply anymore.' Non-EU applicants living abroad are NOT eligible for the Late Application or the Additional Application Session, pay a non-refundable €50 application fee, are ranked on a separate list against a separate 4-place quota, and must additionally pre-enrol on the Universitaly portal (one programme only) for the study visa. They must also attend the 19/05/2026 admission interview in Brixen-Bressanone, or obtain discretionary approval for a video conference at least 7 days beforehand — a substantial practical obstacle for a candidate still abroad and without a visa. For academic year 2026/27 this window is CLOSED; the next opportunity for a non-EU applicant living abroad is the 2027/28 Early Bird session, expected around March-April 2027.
2. Kabul koşulları
Akademik geçmiş
Required qualification (one of): (a) a secondary school leaving certificate of the Italian system; or (b) an equivalent qualification obtained abroad. A foreign school-leaving certificate counts as equivalent only if obtained after 12 years of education AND the applicant attended at least the last two years in that foreign school system (stated example: an Irish Leaving Certificate obtained after only one year is not sufficient). The Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research sets additional specific requirements for holders of certain certificates — American high school diplomas and British and Greek certificates are named explicitly; those applicants should contact apply@unibz.it (Advisory Service). Language requirements (1st language B2, 2nd language B2) are a separate and eliminatory condition. NOTABLE: unlike the science-facing unibz bachelors, this programme states NO subject-specific preparation requirement (no mathematics, physics, chemistry or biology prerequisite) and consequently assigns no OFA — see ofa_rules. No ECTS/SSD credit requirements apply, those being master-level instruments. National rule: simultaneous enrolment in a maximum of 2 study programmes is allowed provided they do not belong to the same class (e.g. not L-18/L-18) and differ in at least 2/3 of course contents.
Dil yeterliliği
The official teaching languages are German, Italian and English, and the rule is eliminatory: 'The official teaching languages are German, Italian and English. Therefore, the following language requirements apply, otherwise you will be excluded from the admission procedure'. ENTRY (to gain admission): 1st language B2, 2nd language B2, 3rd language no level required. FROM THE 2ND SEMESTER OF THE FIRST YEAR: B1 in the third language is the minimum requirement for taking curricular examinations in that language. EXIT (to graduate): 1st language C1, 2nd language C1, 3rd language B2 — the standard full-strength unibz trilingual exit profile. Language positions are defined by the applicant's own proficiency, not by which language it is: 'Your first language is the language in which you have the highest level of proficiency (B2 or C1). Your third language is instead the language in which you are weaker (or in which you are an absolute beginner).' Certification is MANDATORY for the 1st and 2nd language and recommended (from B1 upwards) for the 3rd. Because B2/B2 is required, only B2-level Language Centre exams can be booked. Admitted students who cannot certify the third language take a placement test and are assigned a learning path aiming at B2 'as soon as possible'. Language Centre courses are free: extensive courses 4 h/week during semesters, intensive courses 8 h/week between semesters, and a three-week pre-semester intensive session 01-18/09/2026 (Mon-Fri, 6 h/day). A1 beginner courses are offered ONLY in that September pre-semester session and no longer during the academic year, so absolute beginners must start there. Target levels in the third language: B1 by the end of year 1, B2 by the end of year 2. Practical weight for this programme: the curriculum makes the third language unavoidable — German carries 17 CP and Italian 18 CP of English-free teaching already in year 1 — so the B1-from-semester-2 rule genuinely blocks exams rather than being a formality.
Sınav / değerlendirme
NONE. No unibz admission exam, no TOLC-I, no CENT-S, no SAT, no subject test and no written test of any kind. The selection instrument is an oral admission interview (see 'interview'), not an examination. The only examinations connected with admission are LANGUAGE exams at the unibz Language Centre, and only for applicants who choose that route of proof: Early Bird — 16/03/2026 (registration 02-09/03/2026) and 16-17 and 20-21/04/2026 (registration 24/03-08/04/2026); Late — 22-26/06/2026 (registration 28/05-15/06/2026). These are held ONLINE. Because this programme requires B2/B2, 'you can only register for B2 level exams' — B1 exams cannot be booked, unlike programmes with a B1 second-language threshold. No language-exam session is listed for the Additional Application Session, so applicants in that window must already hold recognised proof. Separately, AFTER admission there is a non-selective third-language placement test for admitted students who cannot certify their third language, with details communicated by e-mail.
3. Hazırlanacak belgeler
AT APPLICATION (online via https://aws.unibz.it/exup/): a valid ID card or passport, front and back — 'if your document is invalid, incomplete or unreadable, you will be excluded from the admission procedure'; the completed online form; the COVER LETTER of maximum 6,000 characters, uploaded in the portal; documentation of any experience working in the field of social work (for the 20-point criterion); language certificates uploaded under 'upload language certificates' (mandatory for the 1st and 2nd language, recommended from B1 for the 3rd) and/or registration for Language Centre exams under 'enrol for language exams'; the diploma of the qualification if already obtained abroad (otherwise uploaded at enrolment); for non-EU citizens resident in Italy claiming parity of treatment, a copy of the valid permit to stay plus a renewal request if expired. NOTE: there is NO 'study career' Excel template for this programme (a master-level requirement) and NO school report cards or grade transcripts are required for scoring, since school grades carry no points. AT ENROLMENT, holders of a foreign secondary school qualification must additionally upload: the secondary school diploma; an official translation of the diploma into Italian (not necessary for diplomas issued in German or English); and the ARDI and/or CIMEA statements described under credential_recognition. Once submitted the application cannot be modified, and forms filled in but not correctly sent are disregarded. Mendacious declarations are criminally prosecuted and cause automatic exclusion from the ranking list. Students transferring from another Italian university must give the Student Office a copy of the transfer application at the beginning of the academic year; non-EU students must hand in a copy of the residence permit once obtained, in person or by e-mail.
Data year: all figures are for academic year 2026/27; the admission-information PDF carries 'Latest update: 28.07.2026' and the express caveat 'Subject to change'. Verified 29 Ağustos 2026. TIME-CRITICAL: the Early Bird and Late sessions for 2026/27 are closed and their ranking lists published, but the ADDITIONAL APPLICATION SESSION (18/08-04/09/2026, EU citizens and citizens given parity of treatment only) is OPEN at the verification date and closes at noon on 04/09/2026 — six days later — with the admission interview fixed for 11/09/2026 and no Language Centre exam session available in that window, so an applicant entering now must already hold recognised B2 proof in two languages. (1) TEACHING-LANGUAGE WEIGHTING is reconstructed from per-module language tags on the 2026/27 course-offering pages combined with the brochure study plan; the two sub-courses of 'Foundations of Psychology for Educational Work' (10 CP, tagged IT+DE) could not be resolved individually, several modules carry two language tags without a credit split, and year-3 tags are not yet published because the 2025 cohort only reaches year 3 in 2027/28. The robust conclusion — English is the smallest of the three languages and German and Italian are compulsory from semester 1 — does not depend on the exact split. (2) The study-plan HTML page reports year totals (50/51/50 CP) that do not reconcile with the brochure module list (61/60/59 CP = 180); the brochure figures are used here because they sum correctly to 180 ECTS. Foundations of General Sociology is listed as 5 CP in the brochure and 7 CP on the study-plan page. (3) SELECTION RUBRIC: the published criteria total 80 + 20 = 100 points but assign no explicit point value to the cover letter, so it is unclear whether the letter is separately scored or serves as an unscored input to the interview; no minimum passing score is published for this programme. (4) NON-EU OUTCOME: the signed Early Bird decree contains no non-EU section and the ranking-lists index publishes no separate non-EU list, indicating no non-EU applicant living abroad was admitted against the 4 reserved places — but because the Faculty of Education publishes neither scores nor exclusion lists (unlike the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences), it cannot be determined whether nobody applied or applicants were excluded. No score distribution or de facto cut-off is recoverable for this programme at all. (5) The ranking PDFs print 'Bressanone, data della firma' / 'Brixen, Datum der Unterzeichnung' rather than a typed date, so no certified signature date exists in the documents. (6) OFFICIAL NAME: the Italian name is 'Laurea in Scienze dell'Educazione' and the German 'Sozialpädagogik', per the Italian programme page and both signed decrees; automated extraction of the English page initially returned 'Laurea in Educazione Sociale' and 'Soziale Bildung', which are NOT the official names and were discarded. (7) The Italian-language admission-information PDF URL is inferred from the Italian programme title and was not directly verified. (8) PROGRAMME STATUS: 'established with a 2025 study-plan reform' is inferred from the coexistence of 'Course Offering — Enrolled from 2025' and 'Course Offering — enrolled before 2025' plus a 2025/26 brochure at the same asset path; unibz does not state a reform explicitly in English. (9) Provincial study-grant amounts (€1,680-€6,960) and the 27/30 merit threshold come from the unibz study-guide pages and are reset annually by the provincial call; they were not separately confirmed for 2026/27. There is no programme-specific scholarship. (10) No 'study career' Excel template, no bachelor-level ECTS conditional-admission threshold and no OFA apply here; the absence of OFA is affirmative (the admission document has no OFA section at all), not merely unverified. (11) Turkish-applicant relevance: Türkiye's status as a Lisbon Convention signatory (hence case (b) recognition: ARDI + CIMEA Verification) is inferred from convention membership, not stated by unibz for this programme. (12) The evidence format required to claim the 20-point social-work-experience score is not published.

Call for applications link note: No separate call for applications / manifesto degli studi is published in English for this programme. The role of the official call is played by the programme's admission-information document together with the signed bilingual (IT/DE) ranking-list decrees, which restate the admission and enrolment conditions and carry the 60-day appeal notice to the Administrative Court of Bolzano. [uncertain] — no Faculty of Education admission regulation (regolamento di ammissione) or Rector's decree opening the 2026/27 procedure was located at a public English URL; such documents may exist only in the Italian/German albo online.
Tuition and fees link note: Total tuition fees are €1,200 per year in two instalments: 1st instalment €600, including the €16 revenue stamp (marca da bollo) — this is the payment that secures the place after admission; 2nd instalment €600, due by March of the following year. Delayed payment of the second instalment results in a fine; unpaid fees make it impossible to take exams and block any transfer to another university or study programme. No refund if you drop out, interrupt your studies or are excluded. EXEMPTIONS: students with a disability recognised under article 3 paragraph 1 of Law No 104/1992, or with a disability up to or exceeding 66% (health-authority certificate to be handed in at the beginning of the academic year); and foreign students who have been granted a scholarship from the Italian government. Students awarded a scholarship by the Autonomous Province of Bozen-Bolzano are entitled to a refund of the tuition fees.
