Kampüs

NOI Techpark Bozen-Bolzano (NOI Techpark, Bruno-Buozzi-Strasse 1 / via Bruno Buozzi 1, 39100 Bozen-Bolzano) - the Faculty of Engineering's technology-park campus, NOT the Universitaetsplatz main campus and NOT Brixen-Bressanone, Bruneck-Brunico, Trento or Innsbruck. All three language versions of the programme page agree ('Campus: NOI Techpark Bozen' / 'Campus: NOI Techpark Bolzano'). This corrects the working assumption of a generic 'Bolzano' campus in the research outline. Historically the programme sat on the plain Bolzano campus of the former Faculty of Science and Technology (2019/20 Study Manifesto: 'Facolta: Scienze e Tecnologie (campus di Bolzano)') before the 2023 faculty reorganisation moved it to Engineering at NOI Techpark. In addition, at least 50 of the 180 ECTS are earned off campus, in companies and technical offices.

Kabul Tipi

NOT APPLICABLE FOR 2026/27 - there is no admission procedure, no application window and no ranking list, because the programme is not activated. For historical reference, the regime in force through the final 2025/26 intake was: restricted access (numerus clausus) with a compulsory ONLINE ENTRANCE EXAMINATION. Verbatim from the 2025/26 programme page: 'In addition to language skills and formal requirements, access to the degree programme is through a selection process. Admission Exam (max. 100 points): A multiple choice test will give information about the prior knowledge of the applicants in the field of logic, mathematics and science subjects.' No TOLC-I, no CENT-S, no SAT, no portfolio and no interview were used - unibz ran its own test. A language pre-check (B2 in two of the three teaching languages) acted as a hard filter before ranking. In the 2024/25 cycle the same test was scored out of 60 points, so the rubric was rescaled to 100 for the final 2025/26 cycle. The original 2019/20 programme combined a school-record evaluation with the entrance test ('Procedura di selezione: Valutazione del rendimento scolastico e test d'ingresso'); by the final cycles the published procedure was the test alone.

Resmî Eğitim Dili

Trilingual (German / Italian / English), with no single dominant language and NO English-only pathway. Actual per-course language codes from the official Course Offering page (cohort 'Enrolled from 2022', academic year 2025/26 - the last year with a complete three-year listing, checked 2026-08-29): roughly 17 course units in English, 10 in Italian and 9 in German. English is the largest single language but is NOT sufficient, because compulsory core courses are locked to one language with no English alternative. German-only compulsory courses: Wood Chemistry (+ its laboratory), Physics, Mechanics of Structures (+ laboratory), Mechatronics and Process Automation, High-Performance Buildings: Seismic Design and Fire Resistance (+ laboratory). Italian-only compulsory courses: Wood Anatomy and Productive Forestry (+ laboratory), Product Design (+ laboratory), Economy, Law, Contracts, Construction Site 4.0 (+ laboratory), Operational Safety and LCA Evaluation (+ laboratory). English-taught core: Mathematics (+ laboratory), Heat and Mass Transfer (+ laboratory), Material Sciences (+ laboratory), Energy Efficiency in Wood Production and Final Use (+ laboratory), Fundamentals of Programming (+ laboratory), Technical Drawing - CAD (+ laboratory), High-Performance Buildings: Comfort and Energy Efficiency (+ laboratory), Laboratory of Physics applied to Mechanics. A 3 CP 'Specialised Language' slot exists in all three languages (Italian / German / English) and the student takes one. The bilingual course-content PDF corroborates this: syllabus text is written in English for some courses, in German for Physics and Heat and Mass Transfer, and in Italian for Wood Anatomy and Product Design. Note the unibz disclaimer on the source listing: 'On this page we show the lectures that are currently offered in the two semesters. It does not illustrate the structure of the study programme.'

NONE FOR 2026/27 - there is no Early Bird session, no Late Application session and no Additional Application Session for this programme, and no application can be submitted in any window. The programme is absent from the 2026/27 Additional Application Session (18 August - 4 September 2026), which for the Faculty of Engineering lists only Computer Science, Electronic and Information Engineering, Industrial and Mechanical Engineering, and Informatics and Management of Digital Business. For historical reference, the final 2025/26 intake ran two EU sessions, both closing at 12:00 noon local time: Early Bird 3 Mart 2025 to 6 Mayıs 2025, and Late Application (EU only) 28 Mayıs 2025 to 9 Temmuz 2025, with an Additional Session possible in August or September if places remained ('The faculty can open additional application sessions for single study programmes in August and in September if there are available places'). The 2024/25 cycle before it ran 1 Mart 2024 to 7 Mayıs 2024 and 29 Mayıs 2024 to 10 Temmuz 2024. unibz writes these as DD/MM/YYYY ('03/03 - 06/05/2025'), normalised to ISO here. Standard rules that applied: 'You might apply for more than one study programme. If you are excluded in the first session, you might apply again in the second one', and 'Once the application has been sent, it cannot be modified. Filled-in forms which have not been sent correctly will not be taken into consideration.'

NONE FOR 2026/27 - non-EU citizens living abroad have no application route to this programme, the single window that existed in prior cycles having been withdrawn along with the whole admission procedure. Historically, non-EU citizens resident abroad had exactly one opportunity per cycle, the Early Bird window only: 3 Mart 2025 to 6 Mayıs 2025 (12:00 noon local time) for the final 2025/26 intake, and 1 Mart 2024 to 7 Mayıs 2024 for 2024/25. Verbatim: 'Only one application period is offered. After the deadline it is not possible to apply anymore. Application fee: EUR 50. The fee is an administration fee and is non-refundable.' Non-EU applicants living abroad were excluded from the Late Application and from any Additional Session, both EU-only. Practical note for Turkish applicants resident in Turkey, now historical: only 2 non-EU places existed in the entire cycle, the B2+B2 two-language proof had to be in hand by the early-May deadline, and the June Language Centre exam window fell after that deadline and was therefore useless to this group. No 2025/26 or 2024/25 ranking list for the programme could be located, so it is not possible to report whether any non-EU applicant was ever admitted.

Kabul koşulları

Akademik geçmiş

NOT APPLICABLE FOR 2026/27 (no intake). Historical requirements as published for the final 2025/26 intake: 'To gain admission to the programme you need one of the following qualifications: a secondary school leaving certificate (Italian system); equivalent qualification obtained abroad. Foreign school leaving certificates are considered equivalent if obtained after 12 years of education. In this case, you furthermore must have attended at least the last two years in the foreign school system (e.g. Irish Leaving Certificate: it is not enough to attend one year and obtain the foreign certificate).' The Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research imposed extra requirements on holders of certain certificates, explicitly naming American high school diplomas and British and Greek certificates, with candidates directed to apply@unibz.it (Advisory Service). Language requirements had to be met or the candidate was excluded from the procedure. National rule on parallel enrolment: 'According to national regulations, simultaneous enrolment in a maximum of 2 programmes is possible (however, the two programmes must not belong to the same class, e.g., L-18/L-18 and must differ for at least 2/3 of the course contents).' Subject knowledge in logic, mathematics and science subjects was tested by the entrance exam rather than required as a prerequisite. No ECTS or SSD credit prerequisites applied - that regime concerns master programmes. A Turkish 'Lise Diplomasi' satisfies the 12-year rule but would have needed ARDI/CIMEA documentation (see credential_recognition).

Dil yeterliliği

Trilingual regime with a hard two-language entry bar - historically binding, now moot for applicants but still binding on enrolled students who must graduate. Entry (final 2025/26 intake): B2 in the first language AND B2 in the second language, no level required in the third. Verbatim: 'The official teaching languages are German, Italian and English. Therefore, the following language requirements apply, otherwise you will be excluded from the admission procedure.' Exit (to graduate): C1 first language, C1 second language, B2 third language - the Study Guide is blunt about the consequence: 'If you are not able to certify these levels you are not allowed to graduate.' Position, not identity, defines the level: 'Your first language is the language in which you have the highest level of proficiency (B2 or C1). Your third language is instead the language in which you are weaker (or in which you are an absolute beginner).' Certification was mandatory for the first and second language and recommended from B1 upwards for the third. B1 in the third language is the minimum for sitting curricular exams held in that language. Language Centre courses are free of charge, targeting B1 in the third language by the end of year 1 and B2 by the end of year 2, delivered as extensive courses of 4 hours per week during semesters and intensive courses of 6 hours per day between semesters; absolute beginners must use the September intensive session because 'Beginner courses (A1) will be offered exclusively during the pre-semester intensive course session in September will no longer be offered during the academic year.' Admitted students who could not certify the third language sat a placement test and were assigned a learning path toward B2. The two-language B2 bar dates back to the programme's foundation: the 2019/20 manifesto already recorded 'Requisiti linguistici: Livello B2 in almeno 2 lingue di insegnamento'. Because the curriculum genuinely splits across all three languages, the third language was never peripheral here - a student meets German-only and Italian-only compulsory courses from the first year onward.

Sınav / değerlendirme

NOT APPLICABLE FOR 2026/27 - no exam is scheduled and no exam dates are published, because there is no admission round. Historical detail, final 2025/26 intake: a single unibz-run ONLINE MULTIPLE-CHOICE admission test covering logic, mathematics and science subjects, worth a maximum of 100 points, offered on two dates - 14 Mayıs 2025 at 15:00 local time (Early Bird) and 17 Temmuz 2025 at 15:00 local time (Late Application). 'The result of the admission test in one of these dates remains valid for the admission procedure of the current academic year.' unibz published a downloadable specimen paper ('Here you can find an example of the admission exam'). In the 2024/25 cycle the equivalent test was held on 14 Mayıs 2024 at 15:00 and scored out of 60 points. The programme never accepted TOLC-I or CENT-S, unlike the unibz engineering bachelors that continue. Separately, and not an admission test, unibz Language Centre B2 exams could be used to prove language proficiency; in the 2025/26 cycle these ran on 17 Mart 2025 (registration 3 Mart 2025 to 9 Mart 2025), on 16-17 and 22-23 April (registration 24 Mart 2025 to 8 Nisan 2025 - unibz's own page misprinted the April dates with the year 2024), and 23 Haziran 2025 to 27 Haziran 2025 for the Late session (registration 28 Mayıs 2025 to 15 Haziran 2025).

Hazırlanacak belgeler

    • NOTHING CAN BE SUBMITTED FOR 2026/27 - the application portal offers no Wood Technology application. Historical list for the final 2025/26 intake: (a) an account on the Application Portal (https://aws.unibz.it/exup) plus a valid ID card or passport scanned front and back - 'if your document is invalid, incomplete or unreadable, you will be excluded from the admission procedure'
    • (b) the completed online form with all attachments
    • (c) for candidates with a foreign qualification, the diploma - 'if you are not yet in possession of the diploma, you'll need to upload it upon enrolment'

  • 1) HEADLINE, AND THE POINT OF THIS RECORD: the programme is NOT available for 2026/27 and must be surfaced to users as unavailable. The suspension is stated by unibz in all three languages and corroborated by five independent signals (stripped admission section, empty admission PDF in EN and DE, absence from every 2026/27 ranking list, absence from the Additional Application Session, and a 2026/27 course offering containing no first-year subjects). Confidence: very high. 2) SUSPENSION IS NOT CLOSURE: teaching continues for enrolled students, with 19 second- and third-year course units scheduled for 2026/27 and a 2027/28 tab already present (currently empty). The correct label is 'no new intake / teach-out', not 'abolished'. 3) WHETHER IT RETURNS IS UNKNOWN. unibz's wording is year-specific ('will not be offered in the 2026/27 academic year') and does not say the programme is discontinued permanently. No decree, news item or press release announcing or explaining the suspension was found in English, German or Italian, and no reactivation date is published. Do not present the suspension as either temporary or permanent - present it as 'not offered in 2026/27, future status unannounced'. 4) LAST INTAKE was 2025/26, established by comparing archived versions of the programme page: the March 2025 snapshot carries a complete admission section with 2025 deadlines, places and an admission exam on 14 Mayıs 2025, and the April 2024 snapshot the equivalent for 2024/25. 5) SCRAPER TRAPS, several and severe: the programme is still listed in the Engineering faculty navigation among active bachelors; the live page still shows the stale recruitment string 'Courses will definetely be starting'; both brochure PDFs still return HTTP 200 with full content advertising 20 EU + 2 non-EU places; and the admission-information PDF also returns HTTP 200 despite being empty. Any pipeline keying on menu presence, PDF existence or HTTP status will misclassify this programme as open. The reliable machine-readable signals are the empty admission PDF, the absent 'Application and Admission' section, and absence from the ranking-list index. 6) TUITION CONFLICT, unresolved in unibz's own materials: EN page and EN brochure say approximately EUR 1,200/year; DE page, IT page and IT brochure say approximately EUR 1,350/year, for the same programme and the same brochure edition. The archived detailed fee section supports EUR 1,200 (600 + 600), and EUR 1,350 closely matches the EUR 1,347.50 of the 2019/20 L-9 predecessor, so EUR 1,350 is most likely a stale carry-over - but unibz has not corrected it. 7) BROCHURE IS STALE: title page '2024/25', footer 'Latest update: 21.05.2026', and in the English edition the whole Kurzinfo box is untranslated German. It describes a curriculum no longer recruiting. 8) NO RANKING LIST SURVIVES from any cycle, so there is no admitted-score floor, no applicant count and no exclusion count - competitiveness and the real accessibility of the 2 non-EU places cannot be quantified, unlike sister bachelors where signed decrees do quantify them. 9) SELECTION RUBRIC only ever published as a single figure ('max. 100 points' in 2025/26, 'max. 60 points' in 2024/25); no component breakdown, no pass mark, no cut-off and no tie-break rule were published, and the OFA 'inadequate prior knowledge' threshold is not quantified. 10) DEGREE-CLASS AND NAME HISTORY is reconstructed, not documented in one place: L-9 'Ingegneria del Legno' in 2019/20 to L-P03 'Tecnologie del Legno / Holztechnik / Wood Technology' at an unstated later date, with three curricula consolidated into two majors and State-Examination-free register access introduced. The reclassification year could not be pinned down. 11) TRANSFER ADVICE CAVEAT: the quoted encouragement to switch to the Bachelor in Industrial and Mechanical Engineering appears in the Study Guide under the heading 'Enrolments before 2023/24' and is addressed to students of superseded programmes; it is very likely shared Faculty-of-Engineering boilerplate rather than guidance written specifically for the Wood Technology suspension, so it should not be quoted as unibz's official teach-out instruction. That said, Industrial and Mechanical Engineering is the natural destination - it is the free-choice source programme named in this degree's own rules, it is still recruiting, and unibz promises previous exams 'will be recognised as favourably as possible'. 12) TEACHING-LANGUAGE COUNTS come from the Course Offering listing, which unibz explicitly says is a two-semester snapshot that 'does not illustrate the structure of the study programme'; the 17 EN / 10 IT / 9 DE split is therefore indicative. The qualitative conclusion is robust regardless of exact counts: multiple compulsory courses exist in German only and in Italian only, with no English alternative. 13) A minor SSD detail worth noting for anyone parsing curricula: the course listing mixes post-2024-reform codes (MATH-04/A, INFO-01/A, IIND-07/A, CEAR-06/A, AGRI-03/B, GIUR-01/A) with at least one legacy code (Physics still carries FIS/03), so both code generations coexist in unibz's own data. 14) The general certificate rules and scholarship figures reproduced here are university-wide and were not re-verified against a programme-specific source in this check, the programme-specific source having been emptied. 15) An archived 2025/26 version of the page carried a mislabelled footer block ('Study Course Page - Common Links - Agricultural, Environmental and Food Sciences') on what is an Engineering programme; the live page has since been corrected to Engineering. Mentioned only as evidence that this page has long been loosely maintained.
  • Programme page link note: https://www.unibz.it/en/faculties/engineering/bachelor-wood-technology (German: https://www.unibz.it/de/faculties/engineering/bachelor-wood-technology ; Italian: https://www.unibz.it/it/faculties/engineering/bachelor-wood-technology). The page is live in all three languages and carries the suspension notice at the top of the 'Course description' block, but the entire 'Application and Admission' section has been stripped. A legacy slug from the pre-2023 faculty structure, https://www.unibz.it/de/faculties/sciencetechnology/bachelor-wood-technology/ , still appears in search indexes. • Call for applications link note: No call, bando or manifesto exists for 2026/27, which is itself the clearest evidence of the suspension: unibz publishes no admission call for a programme it does not activate, and the programme appears in no 2026/27 ranking decree. unibz does not publish English-language calls for bachelor programmes in any case; the operative legal instruments for active programmes are the signed ranking decrees (Italian and German only) and the university Admission Regulations (Regolamento di ammissione / Zulassungsordnung), available through the records portal https://records-unibz.siavcloud.com/regolamenti_en and https://records.unibz.it/regolamenti . The nearest thing to a founding call that could be located is the historical Study Manifesto for the predecessor programme: https://www.unibz.it/assets/Documents/Study-Manifestos/2019/Manifesto-1 Mart 2019-Professional-Bachelor-Wood-Engineering-L9-it.pdf (Manifesto degli studi 2019/20, 'Corso di laurea a orientamento professionale in Ingegneria del Legno', class L-9). No programme-specific Regolamento didattico / Studienordnung under the L-P03 name was locatable in English, Italian or German during this verification, and no decree formalising the suspension was found. [uncertain]
  • Tuition and fees link note: Approximately EUR 1,200 per academic year in two instalments, per the detailed fee section published for the final 2025/26 intake: 'Fees amount to EUR 1200. 1st instalment (EUR 600): includes the revenue stamp of EUR 16. 2nd instalment (EUR 600): must be paid by March of the following year.' CAUTION - unibz's own current materials contradict each other on the headline figure: the English programme page and the English brochure both state 'Studiengebühren: ca. 1200 EUR pro Jahr', while the German page, the Italian page and the Italian brochure all state approximately EUR 1,350 per year ('Tasse di iscrizione: ca. 1350 EUR per anno'). The EUR 1,350 figure closely matches the EUR 1,347.50 charged under the 2019/20 L-9 predecessor programme, which suggests it is a stale carry-over that the Italian and German pages never updated, and that EUR 1,200 - matching the detailed instalment breakdown and the fee level at other unibz bachelors - is the correct recent figure. Standard conditions: 'Delayed payment of the second instalment will result in a fine being levied. If you have not paid the tuition fees, you will be unable to take exams and will not be able to transfer to other universities or other study programmes.' No refund on drop-out, interruption or exclusion. Exemptions: students with a disability recognised under article 3, paragraph 1 of Law No 104/1992 or with a disability of 66% or more (certificate to be handed in at the start of the academic year), and foreign students granted a scholarship from the Italian government; holders of a scholarship from the Autonomous Province of Bozen-Bolzano receive a refund of the fees. Fee pages: https://guide.unibz.it/en/study-career/general-information/fees and https://www.unibz.it/en/applicants/studying-at-unibz . For 2026/27 these fees are payable only by continuing students in the teach-out, not by any new entrant. [uncertain]
