Kabul Tipi

Restricted access (numero programmato) with competitive ranking. No entrance examination, no TOLC, no TOLC-E, no CENT-S, no SAT, no GMAT/GRE, no interview and no portfolio. Selection is a document- and grade-based dossier evaluation carried out by the Admission Committee on the basis of self-declared secondary-school grades plus language-certificate bonus points. Applications are submitted online through the unibz Application Portal (https://aws.unibz.it/exup/). Separate quotas and procedures apply to (1) EU citizens and citizens given parity of treatment and (2) non-EU citizens living abroad. Legal basis: selection criteria approved by Faculty of Economics Faculty Council Resolution no. 142 of 15.09.2025. Admission Committee for 2026/27: Prof. Ivo De Gennaro (President), Prof. Roberto Farneti and Prof. Paolo Roberti (members). Administrative appeals against the ranking decree may be lodged with the Administrative Court of Bolzano within 60 days of notification or publication.

Resmî Eğitim Dili

Trilingual (Italian / German / English), and unlike a nominally trilingual programme the three languages are genuinely and unavoidably interleaved across compulsory courses. unibz publishes no official percentage split, but the 2026/27 course-offering page states the language of instruction for every single course, which allows an exact count. Of the 17 subject courses published for 2026/27 (excluding the six 'as a Foreign Language' courses and the 0 CP preparatory/OFA modules): ENGLISH — Macroeconomics (8), History of Economic Thought (6), Comparative Politics (8), Public Economics (7), Introduction to Academic Writing (3), Microeconomics (8), Information Systems and Data Management (2), Principles of Philosophy 1 (8), Mathematics for EPE (12, both modules) = 62 CP; ITALIAN — Statistics for EPE (8), Growth and Development Economics (7), Data Science for Social Sciences (8), Econometrics (7), Public Law and Fundamental Rights module (6) = 36 CP; GERMAN — Principles of Philosophy 2 (8), Applied Econometrics (7), Business Administration (8), European Law module (6) = 29 CP. That is roughly 49% English, 28% Italian, 23% German by credit. The 12 CP 'European and Public Law' course is itself split IT + DE. Free-choice electives for 2026/27 follow the same pattern (English: Introduction to Public Policy, Wine Economics, Theory of International Relations, The Economics of Climate Change; German: Philosophy of Economics, Industrial Economics; Italian: Labour Law, Ethics Science Art, Contract Law). Compulsory language courses: two 'Foreign Language 1 / 2 — Specialized Language Course' slots (3+3 CP, year 1) and two 'Advanced Specialized Language course' slots (3+3 CP, year 2); exams must be taken in 2 of the 3 languages and the main language of instruction of your own secondary school may NOT be chosen. Students who graduated in a language other than the three unibz teaching languages must nominate the two languages in which they will sit these exams. [uncertain — the credit percentages are computed from the 2026/27 course-offering listing, which shows only the lectures currently offered and does not include third-year courses; unibz itself publishes no language weighting]

THREE sessions were open for EU citizens and citizens given parity of treatment in 2026/27 — and unlike the sister Bachelor in Economics and Management, this programme DID take part in the third one. (1) EARLY BIRD — application 2 Mart 2026 to 28 Nisan 2026, by noon local time (unibz notation 02/03 - 28/04/2026). (2) LATE APPLICATION (EU citizens only) — application 28 Mayıs 2026 to 8 Temmuz 2026, by noon local time (28/05 - 08/07/2026). (3) ADDITIONAL APPLICATION SESSION (EU citizens only) — application 18 Ağustos 2026 to 4 Eylül 2026, by noon local time (18/08 - 04/09/2026), confirmed as 'Application possible' for this programme on the official additional-session page. AS OF THE VERIFICATION DATE 29 Ağustos 2026 THIS THIRD WINDOW IS STILL OPEN, closing in a few days on 4 Eylül 2026 at noon; studies start in October 2026. Applicants excluded in one session may re-apply in the next (the ranking lists show this happening: several applicant IDs excluded on language grounds in Early Bird reappear as admitted in the Late list, e.g. IDs 152358, 151133, 156024, 152911, 152193 and 153183). EU applicants may also apply to more than one study programme. Note that 2027/28 dates are not yet published.

ONE window only: 2 Mart 2026 to 28 Nisan 2026, by noon local time (Early Bird; unibz notation 02/03 - 28/04/2026). Non-EU citizens living outside Italy have NO Late Application and NO Additional Session — 'Only one application period is offered. After the deadline it is not possible to apply anymore.' A non-refundable EUR 50 application fee applies. Downstream 2026/27 dates matched the Early Bird calendar: ranking list published by 27 Mayıs 2026, first instalment by 5 Haziran 2026 (noon), enrolment 10 Temmuz 2026 to 6 Ağustos 2026 (noon). Universitaly pre-enrolment is mandatory after paying the first instalment, and admission on the ranking list is granted 'with reservation' until the Italian consulate confirms directly to unibz. For the 2026/27 cycle this window has closed; a non-EU applicant living abroad who discovers the programme now cannot use the open additional session, which is restricted to EU citizens and those given parity of treatment.

Kabul koşulları

Akademik geçmiş

A secondary school leaving certificate of the Italian system, OR an equivalent qualification obtained abroad. A foreign school leaving certificate counts as equivalent only if it was obtained after 12 YEARS of education AND at least the LAST TWO YEARS were attended within that foreign school system — unibz gives the Irish Leaving Certificate as the counter-example ('it is not enough to attend one year and obtain the foreign certificate'). The Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research imposes additional specific requirements on holders of certain qualifications, with American high school diplomas and British and Greek certificates named explicitly; applicants in those categories are told to contact apply@unibz.it (Advisory Service) before applying. There are NO subject prerequisites, no minimum GPA gate other than the 21/33 ranking threshold, and no prior ECTS/SSD credit requirement — the SSD-credit logic (INFO-01/A etc.) applies to unibz master admissions, not to this bachelor. Meeting the language requirements is itself a hard entry requirement: 'To be admitted, you must fulfil the language requirements indicated in the section Language requirements.' Under national rules, simultaneous enrolment in a maximum of 2 programmes is allowed provided the two are not in the same degree class and differ in at least 2/3 of course content — since this programme is L-33, it may be paired with an L-18 programme. Candidates who have not yet graduated may apply and upload the diploma at enrolment. Credit points from previous university studies can only be recognised after enrolment, and only where the exams taken elsewhere are equivalent in content to those offered at unibz.

Dil yeterliliği

The official teaching languages are German, Italian and English, and the language requirement is a HARD EXCLUSION GATE, not a scoring factor: 'the following language requirements apply, otherwise you will be excluded from the admission procedure'. Requirements are defined by POSITION (1st/2nd/3rd language), not by which specific language: your first language is the one in which you have the highest proficiency, your third is the one in which you are weaker or an absolute beginner. Entry: B2 in the 1st language, B2 in the 2nd language, no level required in the 3rd. Exit (to graduate): C1 / C1 / B2, CEFR. Certification is MANDATORY for the 1st and 2nd language and only RECOMMENDED (from B1 upwards) for the 3rd. B1 in the third language is the minimum for sitting curricular exams in that language, and if the first semester is taught only in English while English is your third language, you must certify at least B1 in English by mid-January to sit all first-semester exams. Formalities: a certificate awarded by an Italian public institution is submitted as a self-declaration; one awarded by a foreign public institution requires an uploaded scanned copy of the original. Free Language Centre courses target B1 in the third language by end of year 1 and B2 by end of year 2; extensive courses run 4 h/week during semesters and intensive courses 6 h/day between semesters, with a three-week September intensive block (2026/27: 01–18/09/2026, Mon–Fri, 6 h/day). A1 beginner courses are offered ONLY in that September window during the normal cycle, so absolute beginners must start there. ADDITIONAL-SESSION CAVEAT (relevant right now): applicants admitted through the additional session cannot attend the September intensive courses, the Language Centre runs no exams for that session, and A1 courses for them start only in mid-October 2026 with the standard path to B1 running October 2026 – September 2027; unibz 'strongly advises' additional-session beginners to acquire A1 in their third language before studies start. Higher-than-required levels earn up to 3 ranking bonus points.

    • AT APPLICATION, uploaded in the unibz Application Portal (https://aws.unibz.it/exup/): (1) a valid ID card or passport, front and back — 'if your document is invalid, incomplete or unreadable, you will be excluded from the admission procedure'
    • (2) the completed online application form including self-declaration of the grades for the four subject areas plus two extra subjects for each of the two relevant high-school years (for German secondary schools, the 'Jahreszeugnis' grades, or if unavailable the average of the two 'Halbjahreszeugnisse' with decimal place)
    • (3) a copy of the relevant school report cards for any self-declared year completed abroad

  • 1) CYCLE STATUS — all data is the 2026/27 cycle. Unlike most unibz programmes at this date, this one is NOT fully closed: the Early Bird and Late windows have passed and both signed ranking lists are published, but the Additional Application Session (18/08–04/09/2026, EU citizens and parity-of-treatment candidates only) is confirmed open for this programme and closes 4 Eylül 2026 at noon. Early Bird and Late dates should be read as historical; the additional-session dates are live and actionable. 2027/28 has not been published. 2) ADDITIONAL-SESSION PLACES are not published — the official page states only 'Application possible', with no quota, so the total 2026/27 intake cannot be computed and an applicant cannot judge the odds. Its ranking list (due by 18/09/2026) does not yet exist. 3) TEACHING-LANGUAGE WEIGHTING — unibz publishes no percentage split. The ~49% EN / 28% IT / 23% DE figures in teaching_language were computed by the researcher from the per-course language tags on the 2026/27 course-offering page, which lists only the lectures currently offered and omits third-year courses; treat the ratio as indicative, though the underlying per-course language assignments are official and exact. 4) An apparent contradiction between '80 EU' in the brochure At-a-glance box and '70 Early Bird + 10 Late' in the admission section is NOT a contradiction — 70 + 10 = 80; the At-a-glance box states the EU total. 5) FIRST INTAKE YEAR is not published anywhere and the ranking-list index retains only current-year files, so the 'not a new programme' assessment rests on indirect evidence (existing grade statistics for L-33, AlmaLaurea graduate data, pre-2025 curriculum variants). 6) OFFICIAL CALL — no standalone English call or manifesto PDF exists; Faculty Council Resolution 142 of 15.09.2025 is cited in the ranking lists but is not downloadable, so official_call_url is a best-effort answer. 7) SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNTS — the unibz study-grants page gives no euro figures at all and refers applicants to the provincial office, so no amount is asserted here; the commonly quoted EUR 1,680–6,960 range could not be verified against the current provincial call. 8) TURKEY'S CREDENTIAL TIER (ARDI Statement of Correspondence + CIMEA Statement of Verification) is inferred from Turkey's Lisbon Convention membership; unibz publishes the rule by tier, not by country. 9) The ranking-list PDFs are published only in Italian and German; the English admission PDF reports no cut-off scores, so every cut-off figure here was read from the bilingual IT/DE signed documents. 10) The visa subsistence figures (EUR 800/month, EUR 36,000 total) are general unibz guidance and are NOT restated in this programme's own admission PDF. 11) The 'effectively-closed' verdict for English-only applicants is an interpretation, but for this programme it rests on two independent official facts, not one: the B2/B2 admission gate (corroborated by 21 named exclusions on language grounds across the two 2026/27 sessions) and the published per-course languages showing compulsory Italian- and German-only courses plus two year-2 choice pairs with no English option whatsoever. 12) Both programme PDFs carry 'Latest update: 24.08.2026' and are explicitly marked 'Subject to change'.
  • Call for applications link note: No separate call, manifesto or bando document is published in English for this programme — the admission-information PDF functions as the official call. The underlying legal act is Faculty of Economics Faculty Council Resolution no. 142 of 15.09.2025 ('delibera del Consiglio di Facoltà della Facoltà di Economia n. 142 dd. 15.09.2025' / 'Beschluss des Fakultätsrates der Fakultät für Wirtschaftswissenschaften Nr. 142 vom 15.09.2025'), which approved the 2026/27 selection criteria; it is cited in both signed ranking-list PDFs but is not published as a standalone downloadable file on unibz.it. Related official pages: application portal https://aws.unibz.it/exup/ and the additional-application-session page https://www.unibz.it/en/applicants/additional-application-session [uncertain]
  • Tuition and fees link note: https://guide.unibz.it/en/study-career/economics-management/fees — EUR 1,200 per year for students within the normal programme length, split into two instalments of EUR 600. The 1st instalment includes the EUR 16 revenue stamp (marca da bollo) and, during the admission procedure, is the payment that secures the admitted place (2026/27 admission deadlines: 05/06/2026 Early Bird, 06/08/2026 Late, 25/09/2026 Additional). Once enrolled, the Faculty of Economics and Management fee calendar is 1st instalment by 13/10/2026 and 2nd instalment by 31/03/2027 — the admission PDF states this more loosely as 'by March of the following year'. Students two or more years beyond the normal programme length (fuori corso) pay EUR 1,500 (EUR 900 + EUR 600); students up to one year beyond still pay the standard EUR 600 + EUR 600. Late payment of the second instalment incurs a EUR 30 fine and blocks the online account, exam registration and transfers; unpaid fees also block transfer to other universities or programmes. Interruption years are excluded from the fuori corso calculation but repeated years count towards the higher tier. No refund on drop-out, interruption or exclusion. Full exemption (paying only the EUR 16 stamp) applies to students with a disability recognised under art. 3 para. 1 of Law 104/1992 or a disability of 66% or more — the health-authority certificate must be handed in at the start of the academic year — and to foreign students holding an Italian government scholarship. Holders of a scholarship from the Autonomous Province of Bozen-Bolzano receive a refund of the tuition fees, usually in March–April, though late-payment fines are not refunded.
