(a) PROGRAMME PAGES SAY B2 ENGLISH IS REQUIRED. The orientamento.unina.it programme page (marked ‘Aggiornata a.a. 2026/2027’) states: “A minimum level of English proficiency corresponding to B2 of the CEFR is required, typically achieved at the end of secondary education or through an equivalent qualification.” The university’s 16 July 2026 news item repeats that applicants must “demonstrate English proficiency at least at the B2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)”.
(b) THE BINDING ADMISSION CALL IMPOSES NO CERTIFICATE. Bando DR/2026/3110 nowhere makes an English certificate a condition of participation or of enrolment. At registration on Universitaly the candidate merely DECLARES (self-certification under art. 46 D.P.R. 445/2000) whether he/she holds one of the certifications listed in Allegato 3 of D.M. 1005/2026, and that possession is used ONLY as a tie-breaker between candidates on equal scores. False declarations lead to cancellation of enrolment, recovery of benefits and forfeiture of fees paid.

FORMAT: 60 multiple-choice questions, 5 options each, in 100 minutes — 4 reading comprehension / general knowledge, 5 logical reasoning and problems, 23 biology, 15 chemistry, 13 physics and mathematics. Maximum 90 points: +1.5 per correct answer, -0.40 per wrong answer, 0 for no answer.

A. FOR THE ADMISSION TEST (art. 3 and art. 6 of the bando): online registration on Universitaly plus payment of the test contribution through Universitaly only. On test day the candidate must SHOW (exhibition only, no copies collected): (i) a valid photo identity document — identity card, photo driving licence, passport, postal card, state-issued ID card or firearms licence; (ii) the Universitaly test-registration receipt. Missing registration and/or payment means non-admission to the test and exclusion from the procedure.
Candidates with invalidity/disability (L. 104/1992) must attach the certification issued by the territorially competent medical commission, in original or certified copy, stating the type of invalidity and degree of handicap, and specify the aid and extra time needed. Candidates with SLD/DSA (L. 170/2010) must attach a clinical DSA diagnosis in original or certified copy, issued no more than 3 years earlier OR after the candidate’s 18th birthday, from an SSN facility or a body/professional accredited with the Regional Health Service, including the functional profile — diagnoses without it are rejected. Candidates resident abroad must supply the equivalent certification from their country of residence with a sworn translation into Italian or English. Requests go by PEC to area.studenti@pec.unina.it using the form (‘Modulo per la richiesta di ausili o tempi aggiuntivi’) published alongside the bando.
B. FOR ENROLMENT (art. 10): go to https://www.segrepass1.unina.it/Welcome.do, log in with codice fiscale + password or SPID, click ‘Accettazione posto in graduatoria’ under ‘Immatricolazioni - Corsi di Studio a numero programmato’, then ‘Immatricolazioni ai Corsi di Studio a numero programmato’, entering the self-certification of the school qualification and of family income (ISEEU), then pay the first instalment and the regional tax through the online carts. Bank transfers and post-office payments are NOT accepted, on pain of exclusion. Students transferring from another Federico II course must first be regularly enrolled for 2026/27 in their current course, then use ‘Passaggi’ > ‘Richiesta di passaggio’ and pay the passaggio fee. Non-EU candidates resident abroad enrol in person at the offices named with their ranking. 1) CRITICAL QUESTION RESOLVED (high confidence, unina.it sources only). Veterinary Medicine (ENG) follows the SAME route as Medicine and Surgery (ENG): the separate national admission test for English-taught health degrees under D.M. MUR 1005/2026, with its own Federico II call DR/2026/3110 of 10/08/2026 and a test on 29 September 2026. It does NOT go through the semestre filtro / semestre aperto. Supporting evidence: the semestre filtro hub lists only the three Italian-taught courses and never says ‘lingua inglese’; its application window closed on 3 August 2026, before the English bando was even published (10 August 2026); its lessons started 1 September, incompatible with a 29 September test; the MUR errata corrige of 29 July 2026 names Medicina veterinaria ‘erogati in lingua inglese’ among the courses whose test falls on 29 September 2026. No conflicting official unina.it statement was found.
2) ACCREDITATION STATUS — STILL FORMALLY FLAGGED, BUT PRACTICALLY GOING AHEAD. The orientamento page, although marked ‘Aggiornata a.a. 2026/2027’, still carries the label ‘Veterinary Medicine (in fase di accreditamento)’ as of 30 Ağustos 2026. Against that, three strong signals that the course is being activated: (a) MUR assigned it seats in Tabella B of D.M. 1005/2026 (18 + 2); (b) Federico II published a full 24-page competitive call for it on 10 August 2026 with a live registration window; (c) the bando itself states that a.a. 2026/27 is ‘il primo anno di attivazione del corso di studi’. No explicit unina.it decree removing the ‘in fase di accreditamento’ wording was found, so a residual formal risk cannot be excluded and the label is reported as published.
3) THE DECISIVE PRACTICAL CONSTRAINT IS THE 2-SEAT NON-EU QUOTA, not the seat total. Only 2 of the 20 seats are open to non-EU candidates resident abroad (e.g. Turkish applicants applying from Turkey). This makes the programme far harder to enter from outside the EU than Medicine and Surgery (ENG) at the same university, which reserves 45 seats for the same category. Anyone who is an EU citizen, or legally resident in Italy, competes instead for the 18-seat quota but must clear the 20-point minimum score.
4) ENGLISH REQUIREMENT — CONFLICTING OFFICIAL WORDING. The orientamento page and the 16 July 2026 university news both state that B2 CEFR English ‘is required’, while the binding bando DR/2026/3110 imposes no certificate at all and uses the Allegato 3 certifications only as a tie-breaker. The safest reading: no certificate blocks your application, but hold a B2-level certificate anyway (tie-break value, consistency with the programme description, and visa usefulness). No named threshold (e.g. IELTS 6.0) is published anywhere on unina.it for this programme.
5) NON-EU ENROLMENT DEADLINE UNKNOWN. The bando fixes no date for enrolment of non-EU candidates resident abroad; it will be announced together with the university-compiled ranking (expected late October / November 2026). Marked [uncertain] in application_deadline_non_eu. Likewise the publication date of that university-compiled ranking is not fixed in the call.
6) NO PROGRAMME MICROSITE / COURSE CODE YET. The orientamento page says the degree programme website is ‘under construction’, and no Federico II internal course code for the English course has been published; https://www.corsi.unina.it/D24 and the code 18VE belong to the ITALIAN-taught Medicina Veterinaria, which is entered through the semestre filtro and must not be confused with this programme. Marked [uncertain] in degree_class.
7) SEAT COUNT STABILITY. Medicine and Surgery (ENG) had its quota raised from 70 to 80 by a later decree (D.R. 2792 of 20.7.2026). No equivalent increase decree was found for Veterinary Medicine; 20 (18 + 2) is what the 10 August 2026 bando and Tabella B of D.M. 1005/2026 both state. A later Federico II notice could still change this.
8) CAMPUS. The task brief says ‘Frullone’, which is confirmed for teaching (‘Classes will be held at the new Frullone campus’, 16/07/2026 news) — but the department formally operates on two sites (Frullone and the historical Delpino building), the admission test is at Monte S. Angelo, and the student registry is on via Tommaso De Amicis.
9) DEGREE NAME. The Italian official name is a bilingual compound, ‘Medicina Veterinaria - Veterinary Medicine’ (LM 42 R); this is a standalone English degree, not an English curriculum of the Italian course, so the diploma should carry that name rather than a purely Italian one. The awarded title as published is ‘Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)’.
10) All data captured on 30 Ağustos 2026 from unina.it / orientamento.unina.it / international.unina.it only. Test registration was OPEN at capture time (26 August – 9 September 2026), so ranking dates, the non-EU enrolment deadline and any accreditation update may still be published later on www.unina.it.
