No prior university credits are needed — this is a single-cycle degree entered straight from secondary school. Subject preparation expected (orientamento page): “Candidates must also possess an adequate initial preparation, particularly in biology, chemistry, physics, and mathematics, in line with the national curricula for secondary schools”, i.e. the syllabus in Allegato A of D.M. 1005/2026. (b) THE BINDING ADMISSION CALL IMPOSES NO CERTIFICATE. Bando DR/2026/3110 nowhere makes an English certificate a condition of participation or of enrolment. At registration on Universitaly the candidate merely DECLARES (self-certification under art. 46 D.P.R. 445/2000) whether he/she holds one of the certifications listed in Allegato 3 of D.M. 1005/2026, and that possession is used ONLY as a tie-breaker between candidates on equal scores. False declarations lead to cancellation of enrolment, recovery of benefits and forfeiture of fees paid. PRACTICAL READING: English proficiency is effectively tested by the exam itself, which is written entirely in English; no fixed IELTS/TOEFL score is published as a hard admission threshold, and no separate language test or interview is run by Federico II. Candidates with invalidity/disability (L. 104/1992) must attach the certification issued by the territorially competent medical commission, in original or certified copy, stating the type of invalidity and degree of handicap, and specify the aid and extra time needed.
