MONTE SANT'ANGELO - Complesso Universitario di Monte Sant'Angelo, Via Cintia 21, 80126 Napoli. This field was listed as 'doganlanacak / to be verified' in the research outline; it is now RESOLVED against primary unina.it sources and is a single campus (unlike some other Federico II programmes). Evidence: (1) the department's own English study guide (dated January 2026) carries on its title page 'DEPARTMENT OF CHEMICAL SCIENCES / MONTE SANT'ANGELO UNIVERSITY CAMPUS'. (2) orientamento.unina.it 'Mappe e indirizzi' block states verbatim: 'Indicazione della Sede: Complesso Universitario di Monte S.Angelo - Via Cintia - 80126 Napoli'. (3) The footer of every page of scienzechimiche.unina.it reads 'Dipartimento di Scienze Chimiche - Universita degli Studi di Napoli Federico II - Complesso Universitario di Monte Sant'Angelo - Via Cintia, 21 - 80126 - Napoli'. Monte Sant'Angelo is the science campus in the Fuorigrotta/Soccavo area of western Naples - it is NOT the historic city-centre Corso Umberto I complex, NOT Policlinico (medicine), NOT Portici (agriculture), NOT San Giovanni a Teduccio (engineering/apple academy) and NOT Frullone. Teaching, the integrated laboratory courses and the experimental thesis are all based there: 'Modern, safe and well-equipped laboratories are available for the courses and the degree thesis.' NOTE ON A MISLEADING SECONDARY PAGE: the unina.it institutional course card (/-/1484858-scienze-chimiche) also lists addresses at 'Via Mezzocannone, 16' and 'Via Mezzocannone, 8' and 'Corso Umberto I 40'. These are NOT teaching sites for this programme - they are university-wide service addresses (multimedia rooms and central administration) reproduced on every course card. The Central Library entry on the same card correctly points back to 'Complesso Monte S.Angelo, via Cinthia'. MOBILITY CAVEAT: students admitted to one of the two Double Degree tracks (see academic_requirements) spend at least one semester abroad, in Leioa (Spain) or Krakow (Poland), at their own expense.

OPEN ACCESS IN THE SENSE THAT THERE IS NO CAP, BUT NOT A FREE-ENTRY PROGRAMME - admission is conditional on a mandatory verification of curricular requirements plus a mandatory verification of personal preparation, and for the English curriculum on a B2 English check. It is NOT a numero programmato / numero chiuso programme, NOT a TOLC, NOT a SAT, and there is no ranked competitive selection. THE DECISIVE SENTENCE is teaching regulation Art. 5 c. 4, verbatim: 'Non e prevista limitazione al numero di iscritti.' (No limitation on the number of enrolled students is provided for.) The orientamento.unina.it fact box labels the access line 'Accesso: Verifica di preparazione' (verification of preparation). THREE DISTINCT ENTRY ROUTES are published, and which one applies depends ONLY on where the bachelor was obtained and, for enrolment, on citizenship. ROUTE 0 - DIRECT MATRICULATION, NO APPLICATION: 'If you hold an Italian bachelor's degree of class L27 or L21 (see D.M. 509/99) achieved with a grade equal or higher than 93/110, you may directly ENROLL following the procedure available on Segrepass (www.segrepass.unina.it).' ROUTE 1 - ADMISSION PROCEDURE #1 (Italian bachelor, but either class L-27/L-21 below 93/110 or any other class): apply via the online form at https://forms.gle/pHwTVcHY9d2bgd3h7 supplying a Transcript of Records, then 'you will be contacted for an interview', then 'you will obtain a Pre-Acceptance Letter from the program coordinator to be used for the ENROLLMENT procedure available on Segrepass'. ROUTE 2 - ADMISSION PROCEDURE #2 (ANY holder of a FOREIGN bachelor, of ANY nationality - this is the route almost every international applicant takes): 'Students who hold a foreign bachelor's degree have to apply to the ADMISSION procedure #2 that is common to all the students of any nationality, and it is mandatory in order to verify the requirements and to confirm your knowledge of English.' Apply via https://forms.gle/7xNa7acfxuZCt4xP9, uploading everything as one merged PDF plus the signed 'FORM1_Recognition_of_Foreign_University_Title'; interview; Pre-Acceptance Letter 'to be used for the ENROLLMENT procedure and to request the VISA (when necessary)'. ENROLMENT CHANNEL AFTER ADMISSION SPLITS BY CITIZENSHIP: 'Briefly, Italian and EU Students will need to enroll using SegrePass while Extra-EU Students will need to enroll through https://www.universitaly.it/.' Note additionally that the 2026/27 university guide requires all foreign-citizenship students to enrol in person: 'Coloro che presentano una cittadinanza straniera dovranno effettuare l'iscrizione presso gli sportelli delle Segreterie Studenti, non potranno usare la procedura on-line.' The English page routes the same request to 'segrmmffnn@unina.it (Area Didattica di Scienze MFN-Complesso Universitario di Monte S. Angelo)' or to the coordinator.

Resmî Eğitim Dili

ENGLISH for the 'Chemical Sciences' curriculum; ITALIAN for the parallel 'Scienze Chimiche' curriculum. The degree as a whole is officially dual-language and is marked as such by the university. Evidence: (1) orientamento.unina.it fact box - 'Lingua ITA/ENG' (dual marking, in contrast to single-'ENG' programmes). WHAT THIS MEANS IN PRACTICE: the two curricula are NOT the same courses delivered twice in two languages. They are separately timetabled with DIFFERENT course content - the official wording is that they are 'distinti per la lingua di erogazione e per i corsi integrati di laboratorio, con diversi corsi affini e integrativi' (distinguished by language of delivery AND by the integrated laboratory courses, with different related/supplementary courses). The regulation annex confirms this: the English curriculum's core Table A.5 lists 'Advanced Biochemistry', 'Advanced Analytical Chemistry', 'Complements of Physical Chemistry', 'Advanced Inorganic Chemistry', 'Advanced Organic Chemistry', while the Italian curriculum's Table A.1 lists the Italian equivalents 'Biochimica avanzata', 'Chimica analitica avanzata', 'Complementi di chimica fisica', 'Chimica inorganica superiore', 'Chimica organica avanzata'. The five English laboratory tracks (A-E) draw on English-titled integrated modules such as 'Biocatalysis', 'Enzymology', 'Nanoparticle functionalization for sensing applications', 'Chemical methods for the environment', 'Integrated modeling approaches in molecular catalysis: from ab initio to data driven' and 'Bioprocesses for production of organic bioactive compounds' - these are NOT translations of the Italian tracks, which instead cover 'Caratterizzazione strutturale in stato solido e soluzione', 'Proteomica e metabolomica', 'Metodi di spettroscopia molecolare' etc. IMPORTANT LIMIT ON 'FULLY ENGLISH': the English curriculum's free-choice table A.8 explicitly flags some options as Italian-only. Its heading reads 'Tabella A.8: Insegnamenti a libera scelta (**Insegnamento erogato solo in Lingua Italiana)' and the courses so marked are 'Didattica della chimica**', 'Prodotti e processi della chimica industriale**', 'Chimica dei coloranti organici**' and 'Metodologie avanzate per la caratterizzazione dei composti organici**'. A student on the English curriculum who cannot follow Italian simply cannot select those four electives; ample English-taught alternatives are listed in the same table (Bionanotechnologies, Molecular modeling and data science in chemistry, Protein Structural Biology, Supramolecular Chemistry, Glycomics, Metalloenzymes, Structure and dynamics of biological macromolecules, Methodologies of investigation for the environment and the cultural heritage). Delivery mode is fully conventional/in-person: the ordinamento records 'Modalita di svolgimento: a. Corso di studio convenzionale' and regulation Art. 7 states 'L'attivita didattica viene svolta in modalita convenzionale'; every line of the study-plan annex is marked 'In presenza'. The thesis 'puo essere redatto in lingua inglese'.

NO PROGRAMME-SPECIFIC APPLICATION DEADLINE IS PUBLISHED . This is a genuine gap in the official sources, not an oversight in this research. The department publishes an always-open online application form for each admission route (Google Forms) and nowhere states an opening date or a closing date for the admission/interview procedure; the admission procedure PDF and the enrolment flowchart carry no EU date at all. What DOES bind an EU or EU-treated candidate is therefore only the university's enrolment calendar plus the practical need to complete the interview before enrolling. WHO COUNTS AS 'EU' HERE: Italian citizens, EU citizens wherever resident, and non-EU citizens legally resident in Italy or an EU country. They do NOT use Universitaly - 'Italian and EU Students will need to enroll using SegrePass'. UNIVERSITY ENROLMENT CALENDAR FOR 2026/2027, verbatim from the official 'Guida all'iscrizione Anno accademico 2026-27' (dated 10/07/2026): '16 LUGLIO 2026 - Inizio periodo ordinario immatricolazione'; '1 SETTEMBRE 2026 - Inizio periodo ordinario iscrizione agli anni successivi'; '2 NOVEMBRE 2026 - Scadenza periodo ordinario immatricolazione e iscrizione agli anni successivi'. So the ORDINARY window is 16 July 2026 to 2 November 2026. A MASTER'S-SPECIFIC BACK-STOP EXISTS AND IS UNUSUALLY GENEROUS: 'Le iscrizioni al primo anno dei corsi di laurea magistrali potranno essere effettuate entro il 31 marzo 2027' - first-year enrolment on a two-year master's is possible up to 31 March 2027. But the same article warns that the CCD may impose a condition on very late entrants: 'prevedendo che chi si iscrive dopo il 31 dicembre 2026, debba conseguire un numero di CFU non inferiore a 6 e non superiore a 12', to be earned through single-course enrolment ('corsi singoli', 180 EUR each, refundable if the master's enrolment is completed by 31 March 2027). The guide itself cautions 'Nota: le date di scadenza possono essere soggette a variazioni.' A CONFLICTING, STALER STATEMENT sits on orientamento.unina.it: 'L'immatricolazione e l'iscrizione agli anni successivi hanno luogo, di norma, dal 1 settembre al 31 ottobre di ogni anno' - superseded by the 16 July - 2 November 2026 window in the 2026/27 guide. The same page points applicants to the course site for terms: 'I termini per l'ammissione al Corso di Studi in Scienze Chimiche sono riportati sul sito: http://www.scienzechimiche.unina.it/lmsc Sezione: Iscriversi'. TEACHING STARTS EARLIER THAN THE ENROLMENT WINDOW CLOSES - for a.y. 2025/2026 the first teaching period ran '22/09/2025 - 19/12/2025', so a candidate enrolling in late autumn would already have missed a large part of semester 1. PRACTICAL GUIDANCE: submit the admission form and complete the interview in spring/early summer, so the Pre-Acceptance Letter is in hand when Segrepass opens on 16 July 2026, and enrol before teaching begins in late September. Confirm current dates with ccdscienzechimiche@unina.it.

TWO HARD UNIVERSITY-LEVEL DATES, PLUS AN UNPUBLISHED PROGRAMME DEADLINE, PLUS A DIRECT DATE CONFLICT BETWEEN TWO OFFICIAL unina.it SOURCES . NON-EU CANDIDATES RESIDENT ABROAD (visa needed) are bound by the Universitaly pre-enrolment date, which falls BEFORE the university's own enrolment window opens on 16 July. THE UNIVERSITY-LEVEL 2026 DATES, verbatim from international.unina.it: 'JUNE - 15 - 2026 - Pre-enrolment application deadline to University of Naples Federico II. After this date no programme changes are permitted. After this date pre-enrolment is allowed to the programmes with restricted access only.' and 'NOVEMBER - 30 - 2026 - Deadline for submitting the Visa Application at Iyalian [sic] Embassies /Consulates.' THE CONFLICT: the Department of Chemical Sciences' own enrolment flowchart for this programme prints, on the extra-EU branch, 'Pre-enroll on the Universitaly website and request a VISA / www.universitaly.it / DEADLINE JULY 10th'. That is roughly four weeks LATER than the 15 June date on international.unina.it. RESOLUTION AND WARNING: the flowchart PDF is metadata-stamped 16 June 2025 (author Paola Manini) and was produced for the 2025/2026 intake, so 'JULY 10th' is a 2025 date and must NOT be assumed to repeat in 2026. Compounding the ambiguity, international.unina.it's own carve-out says that after 15 June 'pre-enrolment is allowed to the programmes with restricted access only' - and this programme is expressly NOT restricted access ('Non e prevista limitazione al numero di iscritti'), which on a literal reading means the 15 June 2026 cut-off is HARD for this programme, with no late window. THE SAFE COURSE IS TO TREAT 15 JUNE 2026 AS THE BINDING NON-EU DEADLINE and to have completed Admission Procedure #2 and the interview well before it. SEQUENCE A NON-EU APPLICANT MUST FOLLOW: (1) gather bachelor diploma, Transcript of Records, passport copy, CV, English certificate and the signed FORM1_Recognition_of_Foreign_University_Title; (2) submit Admission Procedure #2 at https://forms.gle/7xNa7acfxuZCt4xP9 as a SINGLE merged PDF; (3) sit the interview; (4) receive the Pre-Acceptance Letter from the coordinator, which is the document 'to be used for the ENROLLMENT procedure and to request the VISA (when necessary)'; (5) pre-enrol on Universitaly by the deadline; (6) apply for the type 'D' study visa at the named Italian Embassy/Consulate by 30 November 2026; (7) after arrival, per the flowchart, 'Once arrived in Italy get in touch with the International Office and submit all the documents to complete the Enrollment'; (8) apply for a residence permit within 8 working days of entering Italy. CAUTION CARRIED BY THE UNIVERSITY ITSELF: 'The University of Naples Federico II does not issue admission letters for obtaining a visa' and 'pre-enrolment alone does not grant admission to degree programmes' - the programme's Pre-Acceptance Letter is the operative document, and it is issued only after the interview. NON-EU CITIZENS WHO DO NOT NEED A VISA (legally resident in Italy or an EU country) skip Universitaly entirely and follow the EU route and the 16 July - 2 November 2026 window; they still must complete Admission Procedure #2 if their bachelor was obtained abroad. VERIFY THE 2026/2027 UNIVERSITALY DATE for this specific programme with ccdscienzechimiche@unina.it before relying on either 15 June or 10 July.

  • Seats (total): NO CAP - the number of places is explicitly unlimited. This is stated as a rule of the programme, not merely omitted. Teaching regulation Art. 5 c. 4, verbatim and unambiguous: 'Non e prevista limitazione al numero di iscritti.' The regulation does reserve the CCD's power to introduce programming in future - Art. 5 c. 1: 'La Commissione di Coordinamento Didattico del corso di norma disciplina i criteri di ammissione e l'eventuale programmazione delle iscrizioni, fatte salve differenti disposizioni di legge' - with a footnote pointing to the national numero programmato law ('L'accesso programmato a livello nazionale e disciplinato dalla legge 264 del 1999'), but no such programming is in force for LM-54 Scienze Chimiche. Consistently, no seat figure appears on the orientamento.unina.it profile, the unina.it course card, the department pages, the admission procedure PDFs or the enrolment flowchart. PRACTICAL READING FOR APPLICANTS: admission is a QUALIFICATION test, not a COMPETITION. A candidate who holds the required 20 CFU maths/physics/informatics and 30 CFU chemistry, passes the preparation interview and evidences B2 English is admitted - they are not ranked against other applicants for a limited number of places. This makes this programme materially more accessible than the department's sibling English-taught LM-71 'Industrial Chemistry for Circular and Bio Economy', which caps enrolment at 30. NOTE: the absence of a cap does not remove the deadline constraints in application_deadline_eu / application_deadline_non_eu, which remain the real limiting factor. | Seats (non-EU reserved): NOT APPLICABLE / NOT PUBLISHED . Because the programme has no cap at all ('Non e prevista limitazione al numero di iscritti'), there is no pool of places out of which a non-EU quota (contingente riservato) could be carved, and no unina.it source examined in this research publishes any such figure for LM-54 Scienze Chimiche. Federico II publishes explicit non-EU contingents only for its nationally regulated numero programmato courses (Medicine and Surgery, Dentistry, Veterinary Medicine, Architecture); this programme is not in that group. WHY THIS IS STILL FLAGGED UNCERTAIN RATHER THAN ANSWERED 'ZERO': Italian universities are required to declare an annual contingent of places for non-EU applicants resident abroad in the ministerial procedure that governs Universitaly pre-enrolment, and that declaration is normally published in the MUR/Universitaly circular and in the university's own 'posti disponibili' tables rather than on the course page. Those documents are outside the unina.it-only source scope of this research and were not consulted. The operative constraint on a non-EU applicant is therefore NOT a seat number but the Universitaly pre-enrolment deadline and the visa timetable (see application_deadline_non_eu). TREAT AS: no reserved non-EU quota published, and no cap to be reserved from; if a hard number is needed for a visa file, request it from ccdscienzechimiche@unina.it or from the International Didactic Office.
  • A first-cycle degree, PLUS one of two curricular routes, PLUS a verification of personal preparation with an explicit 93/110 threshold, PLUS the curriculum-specific English level. ENTRY QUALIFICATION AND CURRICULAR REQUIREMENTS, verbatim from the department's English admission page: 'students must possess a Bachelor Degree in one of the following classes: L-27, (Scienze e Tecnologie Chimiche), Italian Ministerial Decree no. 270/04; L-21, (Scienze e Tecnologie Chimiche), Italian Ministerial Decree no. 509/99. Students holding a degree of another class obtained at a Italian university, as well as those who hold another qualification obtained abroad and recognized as suitable, can also access to study course, provided that the following curricular requirements are met: possession of degrees that allow the acquisition of at least 20 credits (CTU) of courses in the field of mathematical disciplines, physics and computer science, and at least 30 credits (CTU) of courses in chemical disciplines, with particular, but not exclusive, reference to the sectors CHEM-01/A, CHEM-02/A, CHEM-03/A, CHEM05/A and BIOS-07/A (i.e. Analytical, Physical, Inorganic, Organic and Biological Chemistry respectively).' In plain terms: MINIMUM 20 ECTS in mathematics + physics + computer science combined, and MINIMUM 30 ECTS in chemistry (analytical, physical, inorganic, organic, biochemistry). Note that 'CTU' in the English page is a typo for CFU/ECTS. HOW FOREIGN DEGREES ARE JUDGED, verbatim: 'In the case of students graduated in foreign universities, the adequacy of curricular requirements is assessed on a case-by-case basis, on the grounds of the consistency between the programs carried out in the different subject areas, the educational bases considered necessary for the advanced training offered by the CdS, as well as language skills. The methods for verifying such a preparation are defined in these teaching regulations and in any case checked only after verification of the possession of curricular requirements. In any case, the required knowledge must be possessed before enrolment.' Regulation Art. 5 c. 3 adds that for foreign graduates adequacy 'e valutata caso per caso'. So there is no automatic recognition and no published country-by-country equivalence table - each transcript is read individually by the admission commission. VERIFICATION OF PERSONAL PREPARATION - THE 93/110 RULE, verbatim: 'For those who hold a degree of class L27 or L21, the adequacy of the preparation is considered verified with the achievement of the degree with a grade equal to or higher than 93/110. In the event of a degree grade lower than 93/110 for classes L27 and L21, or in the case of possession of another degree and of the credits indicated in the admission requirements to the Master's Degree Course, the enrolment is subject to the assessment of an adequate individual preparation by a Didactic committee properly designed.' The Italian text specifies what that assessment covers: 'l'accertamento dell'adeguata preparazione personale prevedra l'analisi della carriera pregressa per individuare le tematiche generali (Chimica Organica, Chimica Inorganica, Chimica Fisica, Chimica Analitica, Biochimica) dove si evidenziano le maggiori problematiche. Per queste aree il candidato dovra sostenere un colloquio con una commissione appositamente nominata dalla Commissione Didattica del Corso di Studi.' i.e. the commission first analyses the prior career to find the weakest of the five core areas, and the interview then targets those areas. PRACTICAL CONSEQUENCE FOR INTERNATIONAL APPLICANTS: the 93/110 shortcut is only available to holders of ITALIAN L-27/L-21 degrees. Every holder of a foreign bachelor goes through Admission Procedure #2 and an interview regardless of grade. NO PUBLISHED MINIMUM GRADE, NO PUBLISHED RECENCY LIMIT and no work-experience requirement apply to foreign applicants (contrast the sibling LM-71 ICCBE programme, which does impose a 7-year recency limit and a 65% minimum). ADMISSION COMMISSION, named on the department page: 'La commissione responsabile dell'accertamento dei requisiti per l'iscrizione e composta dai proff. Iadonisi, Leone, Manini, Picone, Troisi, Vergara'. TWO DOUBLE DEGREE PROGRAMMES ARE OPEN TO ENROLLED STUDENTS (a post-admission opportunity, not an entry route): regulation Art. 1 records (a) a Double Degree with 'Universidad del Pais Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea' (UPV/EHU), Leioa, Spain, yielding also a 'Laurea Magistrale in Chimica Sintetica ed Industriale'; and (b) a Double Degree with 'Universita Jagiellonian di Cracovia (Polonia)' (JU), yielding also a 'Laurea Magistrale in Chimica'. For both: 'Ciascuna istituzione potra ospitare un massimo di 2 studenti dell'Universita partner per anno accademico'; students must apply 'entro il mese di Marzo del primo anno di frequenza'; the interview takes place 'entro il mese di Luglio'; a B2 English certificate is a stated requirement ('candidati che abbiano una conoscenza della lingua Inglese di livello B2'); selection is on graduation mark, credits acquired, weighted grade average, interview result and a motivation letter, with ties broken in favour of the younger candidate; and 'Le spese di viaggio e alloggio presso l'istituzione ospite sono a carico degli studenti.'

ENGLISH B2 FOR THE 'CHEMICAL SCIENCES' CURRICULUM - versus B1 for the Italian 'Scienze Chimiche' curriculum. THIS SPLIT THRESHOLD IS THE DEFINING FEATURE OF THIS ITEM and is stated identically on four independent official sources. (3) Department admission page (English): 'A further admission requirement is the knowledge of the English language at least at level B1 to enroll in the curriculum in Italian (Scienze Chimiche), while a further admission requirement to enroll in the curriculum in English (Chemical Sciences) is the possession of an adequate knowledge of the English language (minimum B2 level required).' (4) orientamento.unina.it: 'E inoltre richiesta una conoscenza della lingua inglese di livello B1 per iscriversi al curriculum in italiano e di livello B2 per iscriversi al curriculum in inglese.' B1/B2 are CEFR levels. HOW B2 IS PROVEN - TWO ROUTES, and no certificate is strictly mandatory: 'The knowledge of the English language of level B2 should be demonstrated by showing an internationally recognized B2 level certificate or will be assessed through a placement test.' The Admission Procedure #2 document checklist correspondingly lists 'Certificate of English language (when available/necessary)' - i.e. conditional, not absolute. NO LIST OF ACCEPTED CERTIFICATES AND NO MINIMUM SCORE TABLE is published: unina.it does not state minimum IELTS, TOEFL iBT, Cambridge or Duolingo scores for this programme. At university level, international.unina.it notes only that 'an international certificate attesting to the level of English language skills (IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge, etc.)' is useful for the visa. Applicants should assume an embassy will want a certificate even where the programme would accept a placement test. ITALIAN - NOT REQUIRED FOR ADMISSION, BUT COMPULSORY AS A 4 CFU COURSE ONCE ENROLLED. THIS IS THE MOST EASILY MISSED FACT ABOUT THIS CURRICULUM. For admission, international.unina.it states the general rule for English-taught paths: 'If you choose a three-year, five-year or single-cycle degree course in ENGLISH, level B2 Italian language proficiency is not required' - and no Italian requirement appears anywhere in this programme's admission rules; the Italian proficiency test applies only to Italian-taught programmes. BUT the study-plan annex to the teaching regulation makes an Italian course a compulsory graduation requirement: under Curriculum 'Chemical Sciences', Year 1, the table lists 'Laboratorio di Lingua Italiana - 4 CFU - 32 ore - TAF E - Obbligatorio'. The mirror-image line under Curriculum 'Scienze Chimiche' Year 1 is 'Laboratorio di Lingua Inglese - 4 CFU - 32 ore - TAF E - Obbligatorio'. So each curriculum makes the OTHER language a compulsory 4 CFU / 32-hour laboratory: Italian-curriculum students must take an English lab, and English-curriculum students must take an ITALIAN lab. No entry level and no exit level for that Italian lab is published. CONFLICTING SUMMARY IN THE STUDY GUIDE: the department's consolidated educational-path description (January 2026) summarises Year 1 generically as containing 'English Language Laboratory (B2 level)', without distinguishing the curricula. That single line reproduces the Italian curriculum's structure and contradicts the differentiated annex table in the governing regulation. The regulation annex, being the normative text and explicitly curriculum-by-curriculum, should be preferred: an English-curriculum student takes the ITALIAN laboratory. Confirm with the coordinator before assuming no Italian study is needed. FREE ITALIAN SUPPORT: Federico II's Centro Linguistico di Ateneo (CLA) offers international students free ICoN self-study online Italian courses at A1-C1 level; this is separate from, and does not substitute for, the 4 CFU curricular laboratory. THESIS LANGUAGE: 'L'elaborato finale, che puo essere redatto in lingua inglese' - the final dissertation may be written in English.

Sınav / değerlendirme

NO written entrance examination, NO standardised admission test (no TOLC, no SAT, no GRE requirement), and NO ranked competition. Two assessment instruments exist instead, and BOTH can apply to an English-curriculum applicant. (1) AN ADMISSION INTERVIEW ('colloquio'), compulsory for everyone who is not on the direct-matriculation route. Verbatim from the published procedure: 'After verification of the possession of curricular requirements, you will be contacted for an interview. Upon positive conclusion of the evaluation procedure, you will obtain a Pre-Acceptance Letter from the program coordinator.' Its subject scope is defined in the Italian admission page: the commission analyses the prior career to identify the weakest of the five core areas - 'Chimica Organica, Chimica Inorganica, Chimica Fisica, Chimica Analitica, Biochimica' - and 'Per queste aree il candidato dovra sostenere un colloquio con una commissione appositamente nominata dalla Commissione Didattica del Corso di Studi.' The interview is conducted by the named commission (proff. Iadonisi, Leone, Manini, Picone, Troisi, Vergara). No slide deck, no presentation template and no published duration are specified (contrast the sibling ICCBE programme, which requires a templated 5-6 minute thesis presentation). No mode (online vs in person) is published for this programme, although the whole application runs through online forms. (2) AN ENGLISH LANGUAGE ASSESSMENT, applicable specifically because this is the English curriculum. The requirement can be met EITHER by certificate OR by a test run by the programme. Verbatim, English procedure PDF: 'The knowledge of the English language of level B2 should be demonstrated by showing an internationally recognized B2 level certificate or will be assessed through a placement test.' The department web page words the alternative slightly differently: 'The knowledge of the English language knowledge of level B2 should be demonstrated by showing an internationally recognized B2 level certificate or will be assessed through an evaluation procedure defined by the CdS.' NO FORMAT, DATE, SYLLABUS, SCORING SCALE OR SAMPLE PAPER for this placement test is published anywhere on unina.it, and the three official wordings ('placement test' / 'evaluation procedure defined by the CdS' / 'valutazione ... indicate di volta in volta dalla CCD') are not identical. An applicant without a B2 certificate cannot currently find out in advance what they will be asked to sit; the Admission Procedure #2 document form lists the English certificate as required only 'when available/necessary', which implies the test is the fallback. Confirm the current arrangement with ccdscienzechimiche@unina.it. NO OFA (additional learning obligations) are published for this programme: regulation Art. 4 frames L-27/L-21 graduates as able to enter 'senza obblighi formativi aggiuntivi', and no OFA mechanism is defined for others - candidates either meet the curricular requirements or are not admitted. There is also NO Italian-language test for this curriculum (see language_requirements).

  • THREE DISTINCT DOCUMENT SETS - one for programme admission, one for recognition of the foreign qualification, one for enrolment/visa. (A) FOR ADMISSION PROCEDURE #2 (the route for ALL holders of a foreign bachelor, of any nationality - the set that matters to international applicants). Published list, verbatim: 'Bachelor Diploma'; 'Transcript of Records (ToR) with a detailed description of the courses attended and the exams passed to obtain the final degree'; 'Copy of your passport (only for foreign students)'; 'Updated CV'; 'Certificate of English language (when available/necessary)'; 'Other relevant documents'. Plus a mandatory signed form: 'Download, fill in, sign and upload again the FORM1_Recognition_of_Foreign_University_Title and upload all the documents as a SINGLE PDF file in the admission form.' Everything is submitted through the online form at https://forms.gle/7xNa7acfxuZCt4xP9. Note what is NOT required, in contrast to many Italian master's applications: no motivation letter, no recommendation letters and no slide presentation are listed for this programme. (B) FOR ADMISSION PROCEDURE #1 (holders of an Italian bachelor below 93/110 or from another class): only a 'Transcript of Records (ToR) with a detailed description of the courses attended and the exams passed to obtain the final degree', uploaded at https://forms.gle/pHwTVcHY9d2bgd3h7. (C) FOR THE OPTIONAL PRE-ASSESSMENT before applying, per the department page: 'un certificato di laurea storico, con indicazione degli esami sostenuti e dei rispettivi programmi' (a full academic transcript listing exams AND their syllabi) plus the candidate's personal details, e-mailed to ccdscienzechimiche@unina.it and iadonisi@unina.it, or to segrmmffnn@unina.it. The syllabus/course-programme requirement is the practical bottleneck for foreign applicants, because the 20 CFU maths-physics-informatics and 30 CFU chemistry thresholds are checked against course content, not titles. (D) FOR RECOGNITION OF A FOREIGN QUALIFICATION at university level, per international.unina.it: 'eventual translations'; 'legalisations'; 'Diploma Supplement'; 'certificates of examinations'; 'certificates from the Italian ENIC NARIC centre (CIMEA)' (statement of comparability); 'any declarations of value issued by the competent diplomatic representations' (Dichiarazione di Valore issued by the Italian Embassy). (E) FOR ENROLMENT (matriculation) at the Student Secretariat: 'Copy of passport'; 'Application form'; '1 passport photo'; 'Tax code' (codice fiscale); 'Residence permit (proof of having applied for it)'; 'Declaration of value issued by the Italian Embassy in the country where the degree was obtained or certificate of validity issued by ENIC-NARIC centres.' Remember that 'Coloro che presentano una cittadinanza straniera dovranno effettuare l'iscrizione presso gli sportelli delle Segreterie Studenti, non potranno usare la procedura on-line' - foreign-citizenship students must enrol in person at the counter. (F) FOR THE VISA: the Pre-Acceptance Letter from the coordinator, the validated Universitaly pre-enrolment summary, language certificates, health insurance, proof of financial means, accommodation and repatriation funds. (G) THE PIVOTAL OUTPUT DOCUMENT OF THE WHOLE PROCESS is the 'Pre-Acceptance Letter' (Lettera di Pre-Accettazione) issued by the programme coordinator after a positive interview; it is required both for Segrepass enrolment and for the visa application. CONTACTS: ccdscienzechimiche@unina.it (coordinator / programme), iadonisi@unina.it (Prof. Alfonso Iadonisi, pre-assessment), segrmmffnn@unina.it (Area Didattica di Scienze MFN student administration), roberta.ruocco@unina.it (teaching secretariat, tel. 081 674322).

  • 1) NO PROGRAMME-SPECIFIC APPLICATION DEADLINE IS PUBLISHED (flagged uncertain in application_deadline_eu). Neither the department pages, nor the two admission-procedure PDFs, nor the flowchart, nor the orientamento profile states an opening or closing date for the admission/interview procedure. Only the university enrolment calendar (16 July - 2 November 2026, with a master's back-stop of 31 March 2027) and the non-EU Universitaly date bind. Because there is no dated bando, there is nothing to cite. ACTION: confirm with ccdscienzechimiche@unina.it. 2) DIRECT DATE CONFLICT ON THE NON-EU UNIVERSITALY DEADLINE (flagged uncertain in application_deadline_non_eu). international.unina.it gives 15 June 2026; the department's own FlowChart_Enrollment gives 'DEADLINE JULY 10th'. The flowchart PDF is metadata-stamped 16 June 2025 and was made for the 2025/26 intake, so its July date is almost certainly a 2025 date, not a 2026 one. Compounding this, the international page's post-15-June extension applies only to 'programmes with restricted access', and this programme is expressly NOT restricted access - so on a literal reading the 15 June cut-off is hard here. Plan to 15 June 2026 and confirm. 3) CFU FIGURE CONFLICT INSIDE THE OFFICIAL DOCUMENTS. The ITALIAN admission-procedure PDF states the alternative route as 'almeno 20 CFU in insegnamenti nell'ambito delle discipline matematiche, fisiche e informatiche, e almeno 20 CFU in insegnamenti nell'ambito di discipline chimiche' - i.e. 20 CFU of chemistry. FOUR other official sources say 30: the teaching regulation Art. 4 ('di alme[no] 30 CFU di insegnamenti di discipline chimiche'), the department admission page in Italian and in English ('at least 30 credits (CTU) of courses in chemical disciplines'), the orientamento profile, and the ENGLISH twin of the same procedure PDF ('a minimum of 20 credits (CTU) ... and of 30 credits (CTU) of courses in chemical disciplines'). The Italian PDF's '20' is a transcription error. USE 30 CFU OF CHEMISTRY as the requirement; the field was not flagged uncertain because the resolution is unambiguous, but an applicant sitting between 20 and 30 chemistry CFU should raise it with the commission before applying. 4) THE COMPULSORY LANGUAGE LABORATORY IS DESCRIBED INCONSISTENTLY. The governing regulation's per-curriculum annex assigns 'Laboratorio di Lingua Italiana' (4 CFU) to the English 'Chemical Sciences' curriculum and 'Laboratorio di Lingua Inglese' (4 CFU) to the Italian curriculum. The department's consolidated study guide (January 2026) instead summarises Year 1 generically as including 'English Language Laboratory (B2 level)' with no curriculum split - a summary written from the Italian curriculum's viewpoint. The regulation annex is normative and differentiated and should be preferred, meaning an English-curriculum student has a COMPULSORY 4 CFU Italian language laboratory. This matters because it contradicts the common assumption that an English-taught path involves no Italian study. No entry or exit CEFR level is published for that Italian lab. CONFIRM with the coordinator. 5) THE B2 ENGLISH 'PLACEMENT TEST' IS UNDEFINED (flagged uncertain in entry_exam_or_test). Three official wordings coexist - 'a placement test', 'an evaluation procedure defined by the CdS', and 'valutazione, le cui modalita verranno indicate di volta in volta dalla CCD' - and no format, date, syllabus, scoring scale or sample is published. No list of accepted certificates and no minimum IELTS/TOEFL/Cambridge scores are published either. An applicant without a certificate cannot know in advance what they will sit. 6) COORDINATOR NAME CONFLICT ACROSS THREE unina.it PAGES. The current holder is Prof. ANTONELLO MERLINO - named on orientamento.unina.it ('Antonello Merlino, Coordinatrice Didattica, 081674276'), on the department's English and Italian programme pages ('Program Coordinator: Prof. Antonello Merlino'), and on the January 2026 study guide ('Didactic Coordinator of the Degree Programme Prof. Antonello Merlino'). But the department's own Italian ADMISSION page still says 'scrivendo una mail alla coordinatrice del corso di studi Prof. Delia Picone', and the unina.it institutional course card still lists 'Prof.ssa Delia PICONE' as coordinator. Both are stale; the shared mailbox ccdscienzechimiche@unina.it reaches the current coordinator either way. Note also that the orientamento label 'Coordinatrice Didattica' (feminine) applied to Prof. Merlino is a leftover from the previous holder. 7) THE ADMISSION-PROCEDURE DOCUMENTS ARE A YEAR OLD. 'Procedura per l'accesso_italiano', 'Admission_Procedure_LM-Chemical_Sciences' and 'FlowChart_Enrollment' are all PDF-stamped 16 June 2025 (author Paola Manini) and were produced for the 2025/2026 intake. The two Google Form URLs they publish are the only application channel given anywhere, and there is no way to tell from unina.it whether those forms have been rolled over for 2026/2027. VERIFY THE FORMS ARE LIVE before relying on them. 8) NO SEPARATE 2026/2027 TEACHING REGULATION WAS LOCATED. The governing regulation is 'in vigore a partire dall'a.a. 2025-26' (PDF last modified 30 April 2026), while the orientamento profile is stamped 'Aggiornata a.a. 2026/2027' and links a 'Piano di studi a.a. 2026/2027' that was not separately retrieved. The credit structure reported here is from the 2025-26 regulation annex and matches the 2026-stamped study guide, but a 2026/2027-specific annex may differ in the elective tables. 9) NON-EU RESERVED SEATS NOT PUBLISHED (flagged uncertain). There is no cap at all, so there is no quota to reserve; but the ministerial contingent declared for Universitaly purposes lives in MUR/Universitaly documents outside this research's unina.it-only scope. Do not read this as 'zero'. 10) NO ADMISSION BANDO EXISTS (flagged uncertain in official_call_url). There is no numbered call and no rectoral decree; the department website is the call and the application runs through third-party Google Forms linked from unina.it. Published rules can therefore change with no dated document trail. 11) 'STUDY IN NAPLES' SCHOLARSHIP ELIGIBILITY NOT CONFIRMED. LM-54 Scienze Chimiche / Chemical Sciences was NOT found among the eligible programmes in the Study in Naples calls published on international.unina.it, and the most recent call listed there is 2024-2025. Do not assume this scholarship covers the programme; verify separately. (Note this is the opposite of the sibling LM-71 ICCBE programme, which IS in Table A of that call.) 12) THE international.unina.it FEE PARAGRAPH IS STALE: it still quotes a EUR 140/year regional tax, superseded by the 2026/2027 bands of EUR 130 / 151 / 173 in the official Guida all'iscrizione 2026-27. The same page contains typos ('Iyalian Embassies'). 13) THE REGULATION CONTAINS COPY-PASTE ARTEFACTS from a sibling programme: Art. 4 opens 'Possono accedere al corso di Laurea Magistrale in Chimica' (in Chimica, not in Scienze Chimiche), and the English department page similarly calls it 'the Master degree in Chemistry (Laurea Magistrale in Scienze Chimiche, LM-54)' and 'Master Degree in Chemistry' in the commission line. These are naming slips, not a different programme - the operative title is Scienze Chimiche / Chemical Sciences. Art. 4 also contains the truncation 'di alme 30 CFU'. 14) THE 'CHEMICAL SCIENCES' NAME IS DOUBLY USED and is a real source of confusion when comparing sources: it is both the ministerial English translation of the whole LM-54 degree AND the name of the English-taught curriculum inside it. A page saying 'Master Degree in Chemical Sciences' may therefore be describing the Italian-taught curriculum. Only the curriculum-level tables (Track A-E vs Percorso 1-5) and the B1/B2 split reliably distinguish them. 15) ORIENTAMENTO PAGE ARTEFACTS: the page header still displays 'Guida dello studente A.A. 2023/2024' even though the body is stamped 'Aggiornata a.a. 2026/2027'; and the orientamento.unina.it host presents a TLS certificate-chain error on automated fetching (content was retrieved and verified, but readers reproducing this research may hit the same warning). 16) SOURCE SCOPE NOTE: per the research brief, only unina.it-domain pages were used as authorities (unina.it, orientamento.unina.it, international.unina.it, scienzechimiche.unina.it, scuolapsb.unina.it, segrepass.unina.it). Three external URLs are recorded only because the official unina.it pages designate them as the operative channels - the two Google Forms for the admission procedures and the ministerial Universitaly portal. None was used to establish a fact in this file, and none was opened.
