Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree or a recognized suitable equivalent and demonstrate adequate preparation in engineering fundamentals, biomedical engineering, and medicine. The current programme-specific requirements are: at least 35 ECTS in basic Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Statistics subjects, including at least 15 ECTS in MATH-03/A; at least 20 ECTS in core Industrial Engineering (L-9) subjects; at least 10 ECTS in LM-21 Bioengineering (IBIO-01/A); and at least 5 ECTS in LM-21 Medical Disciplines. Credits may be counted only once. The Admissions Committee verifies both curricular compliance and personal preparation. These current requirements supersede the older 39+18+6+6+6+6 CFU structure still displayed on the DreamApply record.

Dil yeterliliği

English proficiency at CEFR B2 or equivalent is required. The programme admission page says verification methods and possible certification exemptions are specified in the admission procedures. The official international checklist accepts listed B2 certificates or an eligible medium-of-instruction certificate; unofficial certificates and self-declarations are not accepted.

No competitive entrance examination is published. The Admissions Committee evaluates the academic record, curricular requirements and personal preparation; the central 2026/27 calendar describes assessment windows as interview/test periods.

  • Colour digital copy of the original bachelor's degree, translated into English or Italian; if pending under the free-access pre-evaluation route, an official expected-graduation certificate

  • Official academic transcript for the last three/four years translated into English or Italian, or Diploma Supplement

  • Accepted English B2 certificate or qualifying medium-of-instruction certificate

  • Colour copy of a valid passport

  • Major Area Form duly completed; however, the current central page does not visibly provide a Medical Engineering-specific form

  • At least one academic reference according to the programme's DreamApply record

  • Current 2026/27 central deadlines and the current Medical Engineering admission page were prioritized. A material conflict exists: the current programme page uses the reformed SSD codes and a 35+20+10+5 ECTS structure, while the older DreamApply record still displays a 39+18+6+6+6+6 structure. The current programme page is treated as authoritative. The interview format/language, exact non-EU visa-safe final deadline, reference status, and programme-specific Major Area Form requirement are not fully resolved by the official pages.
