Kampüs: Asti (A.Y. 2026/27). First year: all students of the partner universities attend classes in Asti, at the Uni-ASTISS university hub (Piazzale De Andrè), reachable by direct hourly trains from Torino Porta Nuova (about 35-60 minutes) and a 15-minute walk from Asti station. Second year: each student chooses courses at one or more partner sites - the course sheet lists Asti, Milan, Palermo, Foggia and Sassari (for the Turin seat, Asti or Alba, Ampelion complex, corso Enotria 2/c) - and also chooses where to carry out the thesis experiments and the internship; the second year can instead be spent at a partner university of the European EMaVE joint programme (double degree when the second year is spent with a foreign EMaVE partner). A.Y. 2026/27 (no 2027/28 dates are published yet; checked 28 September 2026). The route depends on where the bachelor's degree was obtained. (1) Holders of a foreign qualification (Italian, EU and EU-equivalent citizens, and non-EU citizens legally residing in Italy) apply on Apply@UniTo (EUR 60 fee, up to two programmes): first admission call 25 November 2025 - 29 January 2026 (open to all applicants) and fourth admission call for open-access postgraduate programmes 25 August - 8 September 2026 (reserved to Italians, EU/EU-equivalent citizens and non-EU citizens legally residing in Italy); both are now closed ('Application period has ended'). (2) Holders of an Italian first-cycle degree submit the online preliminary admission application on MyUniTo (open from 9:30 on 30 April 2026 to 15:00 on 17 November 2026) by one of three deadlines: 18 May, 28 September or 17 November 2026; the outcome of the requirements check is published by 27 May, 7 October and 25 November 2026, and the personal-preparation interviews are held on 4 June, 14 October and 1 December 2026. Enrolment on MyUniTo runs from 9:30 on 23 July 2026 to 15:00 on 14 January 2027. Students who will graduate by December 2026 may apply; to take part in the laboratory and field activities of the first semester, candidates must apply by the September session and then enrol.

The later 2026/27 calls (including the 25 August - 8 September 2026 window that applies to this programme) are explicitly reserved to Italians, EU and EU-equivalent citizens and non-EU citizens legally residing in Italy: 'This call is reserved to European applicants and non-EU applicants legally residing in Italy. If you apply without this prerequisite, your application will not be considered.' Non-EU applicants abroad also compete for the 50 places reserved to non-European applicants residing abroad (shared across all curricula of the degree).

Akademik geçmiş: A.Y. 2026/27. ENTRY QUALIFICATION: a first-cycle (bachelor's) degree or three-year university diploma, or a foreign qualification recognised as suitable
Apply@UniTo: a first-cycle degree gained after at least 3 years of university education. The degree is aimed at first-cycle graduates with a sufficient and broad knowledge of the grape and wine sector: Italian graduates of classes L-25 or L-26 (or former class 20 under DM 509) with sufficient competence in viticulture, enology and agri-food subjects are admitted, and graduates of other classes may also sit the check of the curricular requirements. MINIMUM CURRICULAR REQUIREMENT (Italian route): at least 30 CFU in one or more of the scientific-disciplinary sectors AGRI-02/A, AGRI-03/A, AGRI-06/B, AGRI-07/A and AGRI-08/A (codes of Ministerial Decree no. 639 of 2 May 2024, formerly AGR/02, AGR/03, AGR/13, AGR/15 and AGR/16; equivalent sectors accepted), documented with a self-certification of the degree and of the exams taken and, for students from a non-agreement university or another department, copies of the course syllabi. FOREIGN QUALIFICATIONS (Apply@UniTo): a dedicated committee assesses the curricular requirements; the qualification should include a sufficient number of exams in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Agronomy and Food Science/Technology. No minimum grade or GPA is published. MISSING REQUIREMENTS: on the indication of the student careers committee, the candidate may attend single courses at the partner universities and pass their exams before enrolling. Enrolment with learning gaps is not allowed: enrolment always requires passing the personal-preparation interview (see entry test). Adequate IT skills and a fluent written and spoken command of English (at least B2) are taken as already acquired. CURRICULUM: the admission committee, considering the curricular requirements and the personal preparation, assigns each candidate to the 'Fundamental' or the 'International' curriculum, and its decision is final; the International curriculum, taught entirely in English, is intended for graduates in other fields and for foreign graduates, while the Fundamental one (first year in Italian) is intended for graduates in Viticulture and Oenology. Italian-route candidates graduating by December 2026 may apply for 2026/27; those graduating in April 2027 cannot enrol in 2026/27 but may take single courses of the programme (up to 30 CFU). PLACES: no numerical limit (open access)

The 2026/27 access requirements take as already acquired a fluent written and spoken command of English corresponding at least to CEFR level B2, and the interview syllabus includes English (comprehension and translation skills); since students may complete part of their training at partner institutions abroad, the preparation check always includes English. The interview can be taken in Italian or in English at the candidate's choice, also online. ITALIAN: no Italian language requirement is published for the International curriculum, which is taught entirely in English (thesis in English). All dates and requirements shown are for A.Y. 2026/27; the A.Y. 2027/28 admission dates had not been published by 28 September 2026.
A place in the English-taught International curriculum is not guaranteed: applicants do not choose their curriculum, and the admission committee places each candidate in either the International curriculum or the Fundamental curriculum (first year taught in Italian), with a final decision. The International curriculum is intended for foreign graduates and for graduates in fields other than Viticulture and Oenology.
For A.Y. 2026/27 the programme's enrolment page gives interview dates of 4 June, 14 October and 1 December 2026, while the 2026/27 course regulation says the interviews are held on three dates in July, September and November. The Apply@UniTo course page gives no interview dates for applicants with a foreign qualification.
The second-year options at partner universities of the European EMaVE joint programme (a double degree when that year is spent with a foreign partner) and at the Universities of Padua, Udine, Verona and Bolzano are described on the programme's English overview page, last updated on 22 September 2022; the 2026/27 course sheet names Asti, Milan, Palermo, Foggia and Sassari as second-year sites.
The tuition range on the Apply@UniTo course page (EUR 156 to EUR 2,800 per year, depending on the student's financial situation) is for A.Y. 2025/26; the A.Y. 2026/27 fees, reductions and exemptions are published on the University of Turin's tuition fees page. Fees also depend on full-time or part-time status, which students choose for each year of enrolment.
