1) ENTRY QUALIFICATION: a first-cycle degree (bachelor's degree / Diploma Universitario) obtained after at least 3 years of university education, or an equivalent foreign qualification recognised as suitable under current Italian regulations. Apply@UniTo: 'You must hold a first-cycle degree (i.e. bachelor's degree) gained after at least 3 years of University education. You will also need to meet specific admission requirements and demonstrate a suitable academic preparation and a solid background.' 2) CURRICULAR REQUIREMENTS AS PUBLISHED TO INTERNATIONAL APPLICANTS (Apply@UniTo, current 2026/27 text): 'A dedicated Committee will assess candidates' curricular requirements and check the educational qualifications presented, which should include a sufficient number of exams in the following subjects: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Agronomy, Food Science/Technology.' The International curriculum is designated for candidates holding suitable qualifications acquired abroad and for candidates with suitable Italian qualifications other than a Viticulture and Enology bachelor's degree. 7) PLACES / QUOTA: the degree has no numerical limit for Italian/EU applicants; Apply@UniTo states 'This degree program has 50 available places for non-European applicants residing abroad. Per the programme's admission-requirements page, interviews are held periodically in rooms open to the public, announced on the reference departments' websites, before at least three professors of the consortium universities, and a candidate may not sit the admission interview more than twice per academic year. The interview may be taken in Italian or in English at the candidate's choice and may be held by telematic means. The same commission also decides which of the two curricula (Fundamental or International) the candidate is assigned to. For non-EU candidates who are required to sit the Italian language proficiency test, the personal-preparation assessment takes place during that same interview.
