Applicants must hold a recognised first-cycle (Bachelor / Laurea Triennale) university degree obtained by 31 July 2026 from an officially accredited institution, equivalent to at least 3 years of academic studies (minimum 180 ECTS) and representing approximately 15 years of total prior schooling, qualifying the holder to enrol in a related second-cycle programme in the country of award. Programme-specific curricular requirements: the LM-70 R degree class (Scienze e tecnologie alimentari) typically requires prior coursework in chemistry, biology/biochemistry, microbiology, food science/technology, mathematics/statistics and economics — applicants must complete the verification of curricular requirements on the iscrizioni.unicatt.it portal before submitting an application. The international.unicatt.it page states: 'Selection is based on a holistic assessment of the application profile, including academic performance, English language proficiency, and quality and alignment of the motivation letter.'
