The degree must qualify the applicant to enrol in a related second-cycle (Laurea Magistrale) programme in the country where the degree was awarded and match the requirements to enter a Laurea Magistrale in Italy. Standard Cattolica MSc English threshold applies for entry at Year 1 (Milan): Academic IELTS minimum 6.0 (B2); TOEFL iBT minimum 84 (B2); Cambridge English: First (FCE) minimum 173 (B2-C1); Cambridge English: Advanced / Proficiency accepted (B2-C2); PTE Academic minimum 46 (B2); Oxford Test of English Advanced B2. The certificate must be dated January 1, 2024 or later (2-year validity window) and uploaded at the time of application — late submissions are not accepted. Applicants are exempt from submitting a language test if they completed their previous studies in Australia, Canada (except Quebec), Ireland, Malta, New Zealand, South Africa, the UK, or the USA. The programme additionally requires French OR German as a second foreign language during Year 1 (English for Business and Finance Levels 1-2 plus French or German); this is delivered as in-curriculum language coursework, not as an admission prerequisite.
