EPOG consortium and the UNITO 'How to apply' page: 'a minimum of 24 ECTS (or equivalent) in economics and 6 ECTS in statistics or econometrics'. The EPOG page reconciles them: 24 ECTS in economics + 6 in statistics/econometrics is the standard requirement, while students with at least 18 ECTS in economics and 6 in statistics 'can be considered' for Major A / Minors C1 and C4, and outstanding candidates below those thresholds may be accepted conditionally and asked to take additional courses. Content of the 24 ECTS varies by Major: Major A accepts any basic/advanced economics and management courses; Major B requires microeconomics and macroeconomics (plus international economics for Minor B1); Minor C1 requires basic/advanced economics; Minor C2 requires micro-, macro- and international economics; Minors C3 and C4 have no specific additional subject requirements. 3) GPA THRESHOLD: 'Candidates' academic records should have a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) for the Bachelor's degree of at least 70% of the maximum scale' (EPOG selection criteria, weighted 35%). 4) NOT-YET-GRADUATED APPLICANTS: candidates who plan to graduate by 31 July may apply and be provisionally accepted; they must file a sworn statement at application stage and supply the degree certificate by 31 August. UNITO adds that requirement verification can be carried out before the three-year degree is obtained, and candidates lacking the credits are invited either to insert courses in the missing SSDs among their free-choice exams or, after graduating, to enrol in single courses ('corsi singoli') to satisfy the admission requirements. 5) QUOTA / PLACES: Apply@UniTo (a.y. 2026/27) - 'This degree program has 20 available places for non-European applicants residing abroad.' No overall number of places or EU-quota is published; the programme is listed by UNITO among the postgraduate degrees with free (unrestricted) admission. No Marco Polo quota is published for this programme. 6) MOTIVATION: 'a clear motivation for the programme' is an explicit admission requirement; applicants should highlight their interest, knowledge and motivation to engage with heterodox approaches of economics. Completed online application form. 2. Full curriculum vitae (Europass format suggested, not mandatory). 3. Scanned copy of at least one relevant diploma proving a tertiary degree of at least 180 ECTS (bachelor/master/PhD). If not issued in English, an English translation is needed (an unofficial translation is accepted at application stage; an official one is required if pre-selected). Applicants graduating by 31 July upload the official sworn statement form instead, and supply the certificate by 31 August. 4. Scanned copy of all higher-education academic records / transcripts in their original version, including all courses completed at the time of application (not only the current year), with English translation if applicable. Selected students must provide a certified (legally attested) English translation by 10 June at the latest. The transcripts must evidence the minimum ECTS in economics and statistics/econometrics and the Major/Minor-specific requirements. The diploma supplement is encouraged if available. 5. Proof of English language proficiency (by 10 June), or the sworn-statement exemption form for native speakers / holders of an English-taught degree. Non-mandatory proof of French, Italian or German proficiency. 6. Statement of purpose, max 500 words, indicating motivations, relevant academic and work experience, career plans and the chosen Major(s)/Minor(s) in order of preference. 7. Two recommendation letters from teachers/professors or job supervisors, explicitly assessing the student's ability to follow the EPOG-JM programme, each including date of issue, name, institution, position, signature, official stamp (if available) and contact details (phone and email). 8. Scanned copy of a valid passport (EU citizens only may use their ID card); applicants with multiple nationalities must use the passport of the nationality they apply with. 9. Only for Erasmus Mundus scholarship applicants: proof of place of residence issued no more than 12 months before the scholarship deadline (residence certificate, employer/institution confirmation letter, tax receipt, rental agreement or employment contract, flat owner's confirmation, or a utility invoice), plus the signed sworn statement on the applicant's place of residence over the past five years. 10. Optional: document detailing the applicant's own other funding (scholarships, funder name, value of award). The UNITO microsite adds that the admission form downloadable from the EPOG website must be accompanied by a detailed curriculum, the certificate of previous exams, the cover letter, the research proposal for the Master's thesis and any other document useful to assess the acquired skills.
