Kabul Tipi: Part of the EPOG-JM Erasmus Mundus Joint Master (Economic POlicies for the Global bifurcation): application, selection and tuition fees are handled by the EPOG-JM joint programme through its online application form on epog.eu, not by a University of Turin call. Formally an OPEN-ACCESS (free admission, no numerus clausus) second-cycle degree at UNITO - it appears in the official list on en.unito.it 'Postgraduate degrees with free admission' as 'Economic analysis and policy (in collaboration with other French Universities)'. In practice admission is by a COMPETITIVE SELECTION CALL run once a year by the EPOG-JM joint programme, not by a written entrance exam: (1) curricular/eligibility check by an appointed committee, (2) preselection by the EPOG-JM joint programme committee on the excellence of the academic record, (3) a videoconference interview (UNITO calls it the TAPP - Personal Preparation Assessment Test, a ca. 15-minute interview via Skype/videoconference), (4) a final main list plus reserve list requiring unanimity of the degree-awarding institutions. Weighted selection criteria published by the joint programme: academic records 35%, languages 30%, motivation and recommendation letters 20%, educational background/CV 15%. Applications are NOT made through the normal UNITO 'pre-application to courses with free admission' route on MyUniTO but through the EPOG online application platform. A territory quota exists on Apply@UniTo: 20 places for non-European applicants residing abroad. [uncertain - the coexistence of 'free admission' classification with a quota of 20 non-EU places and a competitive joint-programme selection is not explained on any reachable UNITO page]

Applications are made on the EPOG-JM joint programme's online platform (application.epog.eu) - the programme page says national and international students alike fill the online form on the EPOG site - in one call for all nationalities: the platform opens in October 2026; the application deadline is 29 January 2027 at 13:00 Paris time (the UniTo programme page still shows 'TBC - January 2027'); preselected applicants are interviewed by videoconference in (early) March 2027; selection results are sent by the end of March 2027. EPOG adds that a second call might be opened later for self-paying students (without an Erasmus Mundus scholarship); no dates are published. Candidates who will graduate by 31 July can apply and be accepted provisionally (degree certificate by 31 August); proof of English and certified English translations of the academic records are due by 10 June. Apply@UniTo still shows only the closed 2026/27 intake, whose notes send applicants to the EPOG form; no separate UniTo application date for 2027/28 is published.

Admitted non-EU applicants residing abroad then need the Universitaly visa pre-enrolment for the University of Turin (UniTo's 2027/28 date is not yet published; for 2026/27 it was 15 July 2026) and must file the study-visa application at the competent Italian embassy or consulate by 31 October 2027 (national deadline for A.Y. 2027/28). Proof of English and certified English translations of academic records are due by 10 June; degree certificates by 31 August for candidates graduating by 31 July. Apply@UniTo lists 20 places for non-EU applicants residing abroad (2026/27 figure; the 2027/28 figure is not yet published).

Akademik geçmiş: 1) QUALIFICATION: a first-cycle degree (Bachelor's or equivalent) of at least 180 ECTS - 'a three-year degree or other qualification obtained abroad recognized as suitable according to current regulations, respecting the criteria established in the Teaching Regulations'. A tertiary degree of bachelor/master/PhD level corresponding to at least 180 ECTS is accepted. For UNITO admission of foreign qualifications the general rule applies: first-cycle or integrated university degree obtained after at least 15 years of total schooling (EQF 6 / ISCED 6), with proof of authenticity; a same-cycle or higher-cycle qualification alone (Master's, PhD) is not sufficient - the first-cycle degree must always be submitted.
2) CURRICULAR CREDITS - two figures are published and they differ. UNITO microsite and Apply@UniTo: 'They must also have 18 CFU in economics and 6 in statistics.' EPOG joint programme and the UNITO 'How to apply' page: 'a minimum of 24 ECTS (or equivalent) in economics and 6 ECTS in statistics or econometrics'. The EPOG page reconciles them: 24 ECTS in economics + 6 in statistics/econometrics is the standard requirement, while students with at least 18 ECTS in economics and 6 in statistics 'can be considered' for Major A / Minors C1 and C4, and outstanding candidates below those thresholds may be accepted conditionally and asked to take additional courses. Content of the 24 ECTS varies by Major: Major A accepts any basic/advanced economics and management courses
Major B requires microeconomics and macroeconomics (plus international economics for Minor B1)

Sınav / değerlendirme: No written entrance examination and no TOLC/SAT/GRE-mandatory test. Selection is document-based plus an INTERVIEW: UNITO calls it the TAPP (Test di Accertamento della Preparazione Personale / Personal Preparation Assessment Test), described on the microsite as a 15-minute interview via Skype, justified by the fact that most applicants come from non-European countries; the EPOG joint programme describes the same step as an interview by videoconference organised by the joint programme committee for the preselected applicants. Interview period for a.y. 2026/2027: 4-6 March 2026 (the microsite says 'early March 2026'); for a.y. 2027/2028: March 2027. Passing the TAPP produces the authorisation to enrol. A GRE General Test score (at least 150 verbal reasoning, 4 analytical writing, 151 quantitative reasoning) is optionally accepted as proof of English proficiency, but the GRE is not an admission test. [uncertain - the UNITO 'How to apply' page quotes an older GRE scale (450 verbal, 4.1 analytical writing, 650 quantitative), which conflicts with the current 150/4/151 figures on Apply@UniTo and on the EPOG site]

The deadlines shown are for the 2027-2029 EPOG-JM cohort (academic year 2027/28), whose application platform opens in October 2026. The University of Turin's programme page still gives the deadline as 'TBC - January 2027', and Apply@UniTo and the University's catalogue still show 2026/27 information.
No official page says whether applicants selected through EPOG-JM must also apply on the University of Turin's Apply@UniTo portal: Apply@UniTo sends applicants to the EPOG-JM form, and the University's list of exemptions covers applicants enrolling within a double or joint degree project. The document list still includes the standard Apply@UniTo documents.
Official pages give two credit requirements: 18 credits in economics and 6 in statistics (University of Turin pages) or 24 in economics and 6 in statistics or econometrics (EPOG-JM and the programme's application page), with 18 + 6 considered for some majors and minors.
The University of Turin's pages ask for English at B2 (IELTS 6.5, TOEFL iBT 87), while the EPOG-JM admission page asks for C1 (IELTS 7.0, TOEFL iBT 95, PTE Academic 67). The GRE alternative is also given on two scales (150/4/151 and the older 450/4.1/650).
Apply@UniTo still describes the reduced fee as EUR 600 tuition plus EUR 400 insurance per year for students with a personal income below EUR 15,000, while the EPOG-JM tuition page gives EUR 1,000 per year (about EUR 500 of it insurance) below EUR 26,400 (the page also mentions EUR 25,800), EUR 9,600 per year above that, and a full waiver for Erasmus Mundus scholarship holders.
It is not stated whether the University of Turin's own income-based contribution applies in addition to the EPOG-JM fees.
The University of Turin lists the programme as free admission, but Apply@UniTo gives 20 places for non-EU applicants residing abroad (2026/27) and the EPOG-JM selection is competitive, with a main and a reserve list; no total number of places is published.
The free-admission list name quoted in the admission description ('in collaboration with other French Universities') is the 2025/26 wording; the University's 2026/27 enrolment page lists the programme under a paper-based preliminary admission application.
The University of Turin's 2026/27 catalogue still lists a research proposal for the Master's thesis among the application documents, but the programme's current pages and the EPOG-JM document list do not.
The interview is described as held via Skype on the programme page, via Zoom in the University's 2026/27 catalogue and by videoconference on the EPOG-JM site.
The University of Turin's 2026/27 catalogue gives the course code 0309M22 and the class code LM-56 R, the reformed code of class LM-56.
Only the first semester (and the second semester in Path 1) is spent in Turin; the other semesters are in Paris or Johannesburg, and the fourth-semester location is 'to be defined' on the programme page.
