Kabul Tipi: Open access / free admission ('accesso libero') postgraduate degree, subject to curricular entry requirements and verification of personal preparation. There is NO numerus clausus (no restricted number of places) for EU/EU-equivalent applicants and no admission ranking test such as TOLC, GRE or SAT. However, a territory quota applies: Apply@UniTo states the degree has 50 available places reserved for non-European applicants residing abroad. A.Y. 2026/27 (the 2027/28 dates are not published yet). The route depends on where the bachelor's degree was obtained. (1) Holders of a foreign qualification apply on Apply@UniTo (EUR 60 fee, up to two programmes): first admission call 25 November 2025 - 29 January 2026 (open to all applicants), and fourth admission call for open-access postgraduate programmes 25 August - 8 September 2026, reserved to Italians, EU/EU-equivalent citizens and non-EU citizens legally residing in Italy; both are closed for 2026/27. (2) Holders of an Italian degree request the check of their curricular requirements on MyUniTo ('Pre-enrolment in open-admission programmes') in one of three windows: 11 May (9:00) - 9 June 2026 (15:00), 13 July (9:00) - 3 September 2026 (15:00) and 1 October (9:00) - 12 November 2026 (15:00); the admission interviews follow on 29 June - 10 July, 21 September - 2 October and 23 November - 4 December 2026 respectively. Enrolment is confirmed online from 23 July 2026 (9:30) to 14 January 2027 (15:00); students who do not graduate before 14 January 2027 cannot enrol for 2026/27.

Non-EU citizens residing abroad (visa applicants) could apply on Apply@UniTo only in the first admission call for postgraduate programmes, 25 November 2025 - 29 January 2026 (EUR 60 non-refundable fee, up to two programmes); the later call for open-access Master's programmes (25 August - 8 September 2026) is reserved to Italians, EU/EU-equivalent citizens and non-EU citizens legally residing in Italy. 50 places are reserved for non-EU applicants residing abroad. Admitted visa applicants then had to submit the Universitaly pre-enrolment (one programme only) by 15 July 2026. The 2026/27 intake is closed for visa applicants.

Akademik geçmiş: Entry qualification: a first-cycle diploma (Bachelor's / undergraduate degree) obtained after at least three years of university education, including degrees earned abroad. Specifically: a Bachelor's Degree in Italian class L-31 (Computer Science), or another first-cycle degree recognised as suitable. Minimum grade threshold: final degree grade equal to or exceeding 7/10 of the maximum possible grade (i.e. at least 70% of the maximum mark). Credit requirements: at least 48 ECTS/CFU in the INFO-01/A (Computer Science) and/or IINF-05/A (Computer Engineering) disciplinary sectors, AND at least 18 ECTS/CFU in the MATH (Mathematics) sectors (discrete and continuous mathematics). Adequate university-level background is additionally required in ALL of the following areas: (1) programming according to the main paradigms and languages
(2) computer architectures and operating systems
(3) computer networks and security

Sınav / değerlendirme: No written entrance exam, no TOLC, no GRE/GMAT and no SAT. Admission is by assessment of the application dossier against curricular requirements, followed by an ORAL EXAMINATION to assess the candidate's personal preparation. Exemption: candidates whose degree grade is equal to or higher than 95% of the maximum possible grade are exempted from the oral examination. The same oral examination is also used to assess English language proficiency when the applicant does not submit one of the accepted English certificates.

A.Y. 2026/27, holders of a foreign qualification (Apply@UniTo): valid ID card (Italian/EU citizens and equivalent) or valid passport (non-EU citizens); non-EU citizens legally residing in Italy also upload a residence permit valid for university enrolment.
First-cycle (bachelor's) degree obtained after at least 15 years of total schooling, all pages, with proof of authenticity (legalisation, Apostille, statement of verification or an accepted online verification); applicants who have not yet graduated upload an official certificate of enrolment in the final year and their score report, and must hold the degree to enrol.
Transcript of records listing all exams, marks, hours and/or credits, with proof of authenticity, showing the final grade (at least 7/10 of the maximum) and the 48 ECTS in computer science/computer engineering and 18 ECTS in mathematics (a Diploma Supplement with the complete transcript may replace degree certificate and transcript).
Curriculum vitae (mandatory).
Motivation letter in English or Italian (mandatory).
Course syllabi of the exams taken: optional on Apply@UniTo but useful, because foreign credits are matched to the required sectors on the basis of course content.

English certificate at CEFR B2 or higher, no more than three years old (Cambridge CPE; CAE; FCE minimum 173; PTE Academic minimum 65; IELTS minimum 6 with no component below 6; Trinity College ISE II); without a certificate, English is assessed at the oral examination.
Declaration of value or CIMEA statement of comparability and the grading system: not mandatory at application but useful, and the office may require them.
Documents not in Italian, English, French or Spanish need a certified translation; incomplete applications and documents without signature, seal or stamp are not accepted.
EUR 60 non-refundable application fee, paid within the deadline of the call (same fee for one or two programmes).
Holders of an Italian degree (MyUniTo pre-enrolment): self-certificate of enrolment with passed exams or self-certificate of degree with exams; list of course syllabi (unless the bachelor's is in Computer Science at the University of Turin); English certificate, if available.
Non-EU visa applicants: Universitaly pre-enrolment after admission (by 15 July 2026 for A.Y. 2026/27); for enrolment a passport, study visa, residence-permit application receipt, Italian tax code and study documents with proof of authenticity.

All dates and requirements shown are for A.Y. 2026/27; the A.Y. 2027/28 admission dates are not published yet. In 2026/27 the only call open to non-EU applicants living abroad ran from 25 November 2025 to 29 January 2026.
The programme page gives the application windows and interview periods for holders of an Italian degree with day and month only; the year 2026 follows from the enrolment window on the same page (23 July 2026 - 14 January 2027).
Two exemption rules for the oral examination appear on official pages: Apply@UniTo and the admission-requirements page say candidates may be exempted if their degree grade is at least 95% of the maximum, while the application page for Italian-degree holders says candidates who already hold a bachelor's degree with the required credits may be exempted if they have the required language certificate. The pages do not say which rule applies to Italian-degree holders.
The interview periods shown belong to the procedure for holders of an Italian degree; the official pages give no separate interview dates for applicants with a foreign degree.
TOEFL is not in the list of accepted English certificates; without a listed certificate, English is assessed at the oral examination.
UniTo's required-documents page marks a CV as mandatory for Master's applicants, while the Apply@UniTo 'Required documentation' page lists only a motivation letter.
Fees: the Apply@UniTo page still shows the A.Y. 2025/26 range (EUR 156 to 2,800 per year); the A.Y. 2026/27 fee rules are on the linked fee page.
