Resmî Eğitim Dili

Italian and English (A.Y. 2026/27): the programme is delivered in Italian and English through three curricula - 'Applied Economics and Policy' and 'Macroeconomics and Finance' (the latter also valid for the Italian-Belgian double degree) are taught entirely in English, and 'Economia politica' is taught in Italian. Students who choose one of the two English curricula can complete the whole degree in English; the admission call gives separate routes for the English-language and the Italian-language programme.

Kabul koşulları

Akademik geçmiş
  • Summary: Either a Bachelor's degree in Italian class L-18 or L-33 (or the corresponding pre-reform classes), or, for graduates of other classes, at least 72 CFU distributed across a defined list of scientific-disciplinary sectors with a minimum of 18 CFU in economics and coverage of at least three subject areas. English at CEFR B2 is verified within the personal-knowledge assessment.
  • Prior Degree Or Diploma: Route I: a Bachelor's degree in class L-18 (Business Administration and Management) or L-33 (Economics), or in the corresponding classes established pursuant to Ministerial Decree No. 509 of 3 November 1999. Route II: a Bachelor's degree in any other class, subject to the credit requirement below. The university-wide 2026/2027 MoveIn admission-requirements document describes the same requirement for international applicants as "First Cycle Degree (EQF Level 6): at least a three-year university degree (Bachelor or equivalent) in Economics, Business Administration, Finance with adequate academic background (overall 90 ECTS)".
  • Required Credits Cfu: For graduates of classes other than L-18/L-33: at least 72 CFU in the scientific-disciplinary sectors (SSD) set out in the tables annexed to the Ministerial Decree of 19 December 2024 for classes 18 and 33, and/or in the following SSDs, respecting the minimum distribution set by the programme's academic regulations (coverage of at least three subject areas and at least 18 CFU in the field of economics): AGRI-01/A (formerly AGR/01); ECON-01/A to ECON-10/A (formerly SECS-P/01 to SECS-P/13); STEC-01/A (formerly SECS-P/04); STEC-01/B (formerly SECS-P/12); GIUR-01/A (IUS/01); GIUR-02/A (IUS/04); GIUR-03/A (IUS/05); GIUR-02/B (IUS/06); GIUR-04/A (IUS/07); GIUR-05/A (IUS/09); GIUR-06/A (IUS/10); GIUR-08/A (IUS/12); GIUR-09/A (IUS/13); GIUR-10/A (IUS/14); STAT-01/A to STAT-04/A (formerly SECS-S/01 to SECS-S/06); MATH-01/A to MATH-06/A (formerly MAT/01 to MAT/09); INFO-01/A (INF/01); IIND/D-04/A (ING-IND/16); IEGE-01/A (ING-IND/35); IINF-03/A to IINF-05/A (ING-INF/03 to ING-INF/05); GEOG-01/B (M-GGR/02). Note the divergent figure published for international applicants: the MoveIn document requires an "overall 90 ECTS" background with a minimum of 18 ECTS in economics (macroeconomics, microeconomics and similar subjects, excluding business subjects) and the remaining credits in Business, Mathematics/Statistics, Quantitative Analysis (e.g. Informatics) and Law. Applicants who fall short may acquire the missing credits by passing single examinations before enrolment.

Sınav / değerlendirme

No TOLC, no SAT, no GRE and no competitive written entrance exam (A.Y. 2026/27). Stage 1: eligibility check of the curricular requirements, requested by paying the EUR 10.00 fee on Infostud (code 33440) from 2 July 2026 by the chosen deadline; the outcome is sent by email. Stage 2: personal knowledge assessment through an individual interview or an evaluation of the academic record, with particular regard to examinations in the core subject areas and English at CEFR B2. Exempt from this assessment: graduates of classes L-18 and L-33 (or 17 and 28 under Ministerial Decree 509/99) and graduates of other classes with a degree mark of at least 90/110. English B2 is shown by an official CEFR certificate or at least 3 CFU of 'English language proficiency'; native speakers, holders of a degree taught in English at an accredited institution in the EU/EEA/Schengen area, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom or the United States, and holders of an International Baccalaureate, GCSE or equivalent also meet it; everyone else takes an English interview. Non-EU applicants are assessed through a comparative evaluation of their profile (degree, final mark and marks in the core subjects) in the MoveIn pre-selection, whose document states a minimum GPA of 85/100. No interview dates and no numeric pass mark are published.

  • All dates and rules shown are for A.Y. 2026/27; the 2027/28 call and pre-selection dates had not been published by 29 September 2026.
  • All 2026/27 deadlines for non-EU applicants who need a study visa have passed (MoveIn pre-selection 15 May 2026 for the English curricula, Universitaly 30 June 2026, eligibility check 15 September 2026); EU and Italy-resident applicants can still choose the eligibility-check dates of 15 October, 17 November or 17 December 2026, or 14 January 2027 (Sapienza graduates and graduands only).
  • This programme (code 33440) is different from Sapienza's Master's in Health Economics (code 33441), which has its own call and is taught fully in English.
  • Credits: the call and the course regulations require at least 72 CFU in the listed sectors, covering at least three subject areas and including at least 18 CFU in economics, for graduates of classes other than L-18/L-33, while the MoveIn pre-selection document for international applicants asks for an overall 90 ECTS background with at least 18 ECTS in economics and a minimum GPA of 85/100; Sapienza does not reconcile the two.
  • For non-EU candidates the course regulations describe a comparative evaluation of the profile (degree, final mark and marks in the core subjects) next to the MoveIn pre-selection instructions; they do not say whether it produces a ranking or a limit on places.
  • The A.Y. 2026/27 course regulations are published in Italian on the programme's 'Organisation and contacts' page; no interview dates or pass mark are published.
  • The call does not set its own deadline for the Google Form that applicants from other Italian universities submit after paying the EUR 10 fee.
  • No programme-specific admission dates are published beyond the call: the programme's Enrol page offers only the self-assessment Excel tool and the Google Form, and its announcements of September 2026 do not concern deadlines. The five eligibility-check dates in the call are the ones that apply.
  • The Department of Economics and Law page still lists older curriculum names ('Macroeconomic policy and financial markets', 'Competition and market regulation'); the 2026/27 course catalogue uses 'Macroeconomics and finance' and 'Applied Economics and Policy'.
  • The MoveIn requirements document still links an old catalogue address (programme code 31829) that no longer opens; the current programme page is https://corsidilaurea.uniroma1.it/en/course/33440.
  • The call publishes no single document checklist; the list shown combines the call, the Programmes in English page and the International Student Office page. No motivation letter is required; a reference letter is optional and only at the MoveIn stage.
  • The course catalogue shows a notice that its 2026-2027 contents are being updated, so its pages may still change.
  • The call gives no calendar dates for the first fee instalment; it refers to Chapter IX (Fees, ISEE, Fee Deadlines) of Sapienza's Regulations for Attendance at Bachelor's and Master's Degree Programmes.
  • Tuition: Sapienza publishes no fee page specific to this programme; its general fees page says the 2026-2027 fee information will be published after 30 September.
