Kabul koşulları

Akademik geçmiş

1) Upper secondary school diploma already obtained or to be obtained in 2026; holders of a foreign secondary qualification must follow Sapienza's rules for foreign qualifications (minimum 12 years of schooling per the MoveIn pre-selection requirements). 2) Non-EU applicants residing abroad and applying for a student visa also need a letter of pre-acceptance obtained through the MoveIn pre-selection and a Universitaly pre-enrolment application; the MoveIn document sets a minimum GPA of 75/100 for this route. 3) CEnT-S taken at Sapienza or any CISIA-affiliated university from 1 November 2025 and within the selection deadlines. 4) Registration on Infostud and payment of the EUR 10.00 selection fee (code 12952) within the window. 5) A total unnormalised CEnT-S score of more than 18 is required to be placed on the ranking, plus a ranking position within the available places. 6) English at CEFR B2 (see language_requirements). 7) A score below 5 points in the Mathematics section does not block enrolment but triggers Further Required Courses (OFA) in Mathematics, cleared within the first year by passing the first module of Principles of Mathematics (Principles of Mathematics 1) or the programme's OFA resit exam/interview; failing the OFA means repeating the first year and blocks exams beyond year one from A.Y. 2027-2028. TEST EXEMPTION / DIRECT ADMISSION: students already enrolled at an Italian university on another three-year English-taught degree do not have to sit the test if they hold at least 18 recognisable credits qualifying them for direct admission to the second year, drawn from these sectors at 6 ECTS each - MAT/01-09 Mathematics, FIS/01-08 Physics, CHIM/03 General and Inorganic Chemistry, CHIM/06 Organic Chemistry, BIO/13 Applied Biology, INF/01 Computer Science, SECS-S/01 Statistics, MED/01 Medical Statistics; eligibility must be requested by email to maria.carbone@uniroma1.it by 12:00 noon on 25 July 2026, and admission to years beyond the first is at the committee's discretion subject to places.

English at CEFR level B2. The call states the requirement functionally: the CEnT-S is sat in English, and 'taking the CEnT-S (including the @CASA option) requires candidates to have a minimum B2 level of English, as the test is conducted in English.' The 2026-2027 call for this programme does NOT contain a separate English-certificate annex and does not list certificate score thresholds. For the MoveIn pre-selection stage (non-EU / visa applicants), the published requirement is CEFR B2 with 'No certificates are mandatory', while IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge English B2 First and Trinity College London Integrated Skills in English are recommended; candidates are exempted from submitting test scores if they document English native-speaker status, an English-taught diploma/degree from an accredited institution in the EU/EEA/Schengen area, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom or the United States, or an International Baccalaureate, GCE or GCSE. No Italian language certificate is required, because the programme is taught in English (Sapienza's Italian B2 enrolment requirement applies only to Italian-taught courses).

  • CEnT-S (CISIA English Test - Sciences) is the only accepted admission test for A.Y. 2026-2027; the MoveIn requirements document states explicitly that 'English TOLC test is no longer accepted'. It must be taken from 1 November 2025 onwards at Sapienza or any CISIA-affiliated university, in either the @University or @CASA (home, remotely proctored) mode, registering at cisiaonline.it; registration closes at 14:00 roughly one week before the test date, and CEnT-S sittings run in the afternoon with check-in from 14:15 Italian time. Full structure: 55 questions in 5 sections - Mathematics 15 (30 min), Reasoning on texts and data 15 (30 min), Biology 10 (20 min), Chemistry 10 (20 min), Physics 5 (10 min)
  • ALL five sections count for this programme's ranking. Scoring: +1 per correct answer, 0 per unanswered, -0.25 per incorrect
  • Sapienza uses the unnormalised score. THRESHOLD: a total score of MORE THAN 18 is required to be admitted and included in the ranking. A score below 5 points in the Mathematics questions triggers an OFA in Mathematics. Candidates may sit the CEnT only once per macro-period per test type (macro-periods: Nov 2025-Jan 2026, Feb-Mar 2026, Apr-Jun 2026, Sep-Oct 2026); if taken more than once the highest score counts. Ties are broken by section scores in the order Mathematics, Reasoning and Problems, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, then by younger age. For MoveIn pre-selection the stated minimum is a CEnT-S 'overall converted score higher than zero'. There is no interview and the tax code entered on the CISIA portal must match the one on Infostud, otherwise the score cannot be recorded.

    • MoveIn pre-selection (only non-EU applicants residing abroad who need a study visa; registration by 15 May 2026): online application with the upper secondary school diploma or equivalent obtained after at least 12 years of schooling and evidencing a GPA of at least 75/100; the CEnT-S result certificate as a PDF conforming to the original showing the candidate's data and score (a screenshot, booking confirmation or certificate of completion alone is not sufficient)
    • English evidence at B2 where applicable (no certificate is mandatory, but IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge English B2 First or Trinity College London ISE are recommended; documented exemptions for English native speakers, holders of an English-taught diploma/degree from an accredited institution in the EU/EEA/Schengen area, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom or the United States, and holders of an International Baccalaureate, GCE or GCSE)
    • EUR 30.00 fee; the resulting letter of pre-acceptance must then be downloaded in PDF.
  • Selection stage (A.Y. 2026/27): Infostud registration (SPID or CIE credentials for Italian citizens) with the same tax code used for the CISIA registration, and the EUR 10.00 fee paid online by card via PagoPA with test code 12952.

  • Enrolment with a foreign secondary qualification (A.Y. 2026/2027 list of the Hello - International Student Office; all documents merged into a single PDF and emailed to studentistranieri@uniroma1.it with the subject line set by the call ('Ready for enrolment' followed by the programme code and name, student ID number and full name), with any CIMEA statements attached separately as the original PDF files; the office later checks the original hard copies at an in-person appointment): valid passport (or identity card for EU citizens only); the 'University Enrolment' study visa from the Italian Diplomatic Mission (non-EU applicants residing abroad); receipts of the residence permit request, made within 8 days of arrival in Italy (non-EU citizens already living in Italy show a valid residence permit card); the original upper secondary school diploma obtained after at least 12 years of schooling, with an official sworn translation into Italian or English (a sworn translation into Italian is not required if the diploma was originally issued in English); for countries listed in the ARDI database, the Statement of Correspondence downloaded from ARDI plus the CIMEA Statement of Verification or, alternatively, legalisation/Apostille of the original and translated diploma; for other countries, the CIMEA Statement of Comparability and Statement of Verification or, alternatively, a Declaration of Value from the competent Italian Diplomatic Mission with legalisation/Apostille of the original and translated diploma; the letter of pre-acceptance (non-EU applicants residing abroad only); academic transcripts, a related post-secondary qualification or an accredited Foundation Year certificate where compensation years are needed.

  • An Italian language B2 certificate is NOT required for this programme because it is taught in English.

  • Where test accommodations are requested: certification of disability or SLD, with a certified translation into Italian or English if issued abroad.

  • Enrolment is completed by paying the first instalment of the 2026/27 fees plus EUR 16.00 stamp duty and the regional tax (code 33455); the ISEE 2026 (requested from a CAF after 15 January 2026 and at least 30 days before the enrolment deadlines) is needed for fee reductions by those tax-resident in Italy, while those who declare income earned abroad pay a fixed amount based on the country of origin.

  • No admission information for A.Y. 2027/28 has been published yet (checked on 29 September 2026); all dates and requirements shown are for A.Y. 2026/27.
  • The course catalogue page states that its 2026-2027 content is still being updated, so descriptive details on that page may change.
  • The 2026-2027 call does not list accepted English certificates or minimum scores; it only says that B2 English is needed to sit the CEnT-S, which is held in English. The certificates named for the MoveIn pre-selection are recommended, not mandatory.
  • The 2026-2027 call has small inconsistencies: its heading gives the degree class as 'L-2 R' (the catalogue gives L-2), the programme name is misspelled 'Bionformatics' in the decree, and a clause on the Marco Polo project refers to the 2025-2026 academic year.
