Kampüs

Roma (Rome). Italian catalogue metadata: 'Sede: Roma'. The teaching and clinical placement site is the Azienda Ospedaliero-Universitaria Sant'Andrea of Sapienza University of Rome, which is why the catalogue title reads 'Nursing - Roma Azienda Ospedaliera Sant'Andrea'; clinical traineeships also take place at affiliated healthcare facilities in the area. The admission test is held in person at Sapienza in Rome.

Derece Sınıfı

L/SNT1 (Class 1 of the health professions degrees - nursing and midwifery professions)

Kabul Tipi

Restricted access (accesso programmato / numero programmato) with a COMPULSORY in-person written admission test - CONFIRMED. This is a nationally capped health-professions programme: places are set by ministerial decree (Ministerial Decree no. 1014 of 7 August 2026) and there is no open-access or rolling-admission route. Catalogue 'Access procedure' field: 'Admission test'. Final places for A.Y. 2026-2027: 18 reserved for EU candidates (and non-EU candidates holding a valid Italian residence permit) + 1 reserved for non-EU candidates resident abroad = 19 total. Any unfilled non-EU place is transferred to the EU quota. To be admitted an applicant must register on Infostud, pay a EUR 35.00 test fee, sit the test in person in Rome, and place within the available quota on the merit ranking. Programme code and test code are both 28614. NOTE: unlike most Sapienza English-taught degrees, this programme is NOT part of the MoveIn online pre-selection - it does not appear in the MoveIn Academic Requirements 2026-2027 document and the call makes no mention of MoveIn, pre-selection or a letter of pre-acceptance.

Resmî Eğitim Dili

English. The course catalogue lists 'Language: English' ('Lingua: Inglese'), the official call for applications carries the cover statement 'Degree programme delivered in English', and the programme presentation states 'Il Corso e interamente erogato in lingua inglese' (the programme is delivered entirely in English). The admission test itself is also set in English.

A.Y. 2026/27 (A.Y. 2027/28 not published on 29 September 2026). One calendar for all applicants - there are no separate EU and non-EU application rounds. Registration on Infostud and payment of the EUR 35.00 admission-test fee: from 5 August to 3 September 2026. Test rooms published by 15 September 2026. Admission test: 17 September 2026, in person at Sapienza University of Rome. Rankings: the ranking list published on 23 September 2026 was withdrawn on 24 September 2026 because of a technical error in matching scores to candidates; by Rector's Decree no. 2024 of 28 September 2026 the rankings approved on 22 September were annulled, the corrected rankings were approved and published on 28 September 2026 in the Enrolment section of the programme page, and the enrolment deadlines were changed. New schedule: successful candidates pay the first instalment by 1 October 2026 (candidates who have not yet obtained their qualification and expect to graduate by 30 November 2026 must instead send the precautionary statement through the Google form given in the call by the same date); first new intake from the ranking published 7 October 2026, payment by 12 October 2026; second new intake 15 October 2026, payment by 20 October 2026; third new intake 22 October 2026, payment by 27 October 2026; fourth new intake 29 October 2026, payment by 3 November 2026. A.Y. 2026/27 (A.Y. 2027/28 not published on 29 September 2026). Non-EU citizens residing abroad (1 reserved place; an unfilled place passes to the EU quota) follow the same calendar as everyone else: Infostud registration and EUR 35.00 test fee from 5 August to 3 September 2026; test 17 September 2026 in person in Rome; there is no separate non-EU round and no MoveIn pre-selection for this programme. Compulsory earlier visa step: the Universitaly online pre-enrolment application for the 'University enrolment' study visa had to be completed and submitted by 30 June 2026, more than a month before test registration opened; for restricted-access courses Sapienza validates it only if the candidate is among the winners of the official ranking. Rankings (EU and non-EU lists) were re-published on 28 September 2026 after the lists of 23 September were annulled by Rector's Decree no. 2024 of 28 September 2026; winners pay the first instalment by 1 October 2026; new intakes from the ranking on 7, 15, 22 and 29 October 2026 with payment by 12, 20 and 27 October and 3 November 2026; any further intakes by 11 December 2026. National deadline for submitting the study-visa application at the competent Italian embassy or consulate for A.Y. 2026/27: 30 November 2026.

Kabul koşulları

Akademik geçmiş

School-leaving (upper secondary) diploma obtained, or to be obtained, in 2026 - the same requirement applies to Italian citizens, other EU citizens, non-EU citizens holding a valid Italian residence permit, and non-EU citizens applying for a study visa. Applicants holding a qualification from a non-Italian secondary education system must satisfy the Sapienza foreign-qualification rules (12 years of schooling, CIMEA statements or Declaration of Value - see required_documents). No minimum CGPA, grade threshold or prior-credit (CFU) requirement is published for first-year entry; admission is decided purely by rank on the admission-test score. Applicants who already hold an academic qualification (Italian or foreign) or come from other degree programmes must follow the same procedure and sit the same admission test if enrolling in the first year. Admission directly to years after the first (transfer from another Italian or international university, transfer from another Sapienza programme, or course shortening) is handled by a separate notice published by the Health Professions Student Affairs Office at https://www.uniroma1.it/it/node/24852 and is granted subject to study-plan assessment, available places and national planning. Post-admission obligation: within 60 days of paying the first instalment, students must undergo a Mantoux tuberculin test and be vaccinated against viral hepatitis B at their local health board (ASL), with a signed and stamped medical certificate.

A.Y. 2026/27. The Nursing call sets no English-language entry requirement: it names no CEFR level, no accepted certificates and no minimum scores, and all admission-test questions are formulated in English. Sapienza's general admission rules for its programmes in English state that all students must have at least upper-intermediate (B2) knowledge of English or Italian depending on the programme (English for this programme). The same page links Sapienza's general English Language Requirements sheet for English-taught programmes: CEFR B2 (upper intermediate), with these accepted tests - FCE (First Certificate in English), IELTS Academic, a valid TOEFL iBT (including the IELTS Academic Home-Based Test and the TOEFL iBT Home Edition Test), CAE (Certificate in Advanced English), CPE (Certificate of Proficiency in English), PTE General Level 3 (B2 CEFR or higher, valid) and PTE Academic; the requirement is waived for holders of an International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma, an English-taught diploma/degree issued by an accredited institution in the EU/EEA/Schengen area or in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom or the United States, or a General Certificate of Education (GCE), and it is completely waived for applicants from the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand with English as the primary medium of instruction. This is Sapienza's general sheet: no Nursing document explicitly extends it to this programme, and the sheet leaves programme-specific scores to Sapienza's Admission requirements 2026/2027 document for the MoveIn pre-selection, which does not cover Nursing. Non-EU applicants who need a study visa: under the national MUR procedures valid for 2026/27 and 2027/28, for courses taught in a language other than Italian the course-language competence must always be certified and included in the Universitaly pre-enrolment application, and at the visa stage the Italian embassy or consulate checks it for non-native speakers relying only on certificates that attest at least CEFR B2 in all four skills (issued by internationally recognised bodies, or equivalent certificates issued by the universities). Sapienza does not state how it certifies English for Nursing visa applicants . No Italian certificate is required (Sapienza's Italian B2 rule for non-EU applicants applies only to Italian-taught courses). Graduates of class L/SNT1 must be able to use at least one EU language for professional communication (a learning outcome, not an admission requirement).

Candidates must be in the test hall at 09:00; the test starts at 11:00 and lasts 100 minutes. Test rooms are published by 15 September 2026 on the programme's catalogue page. Admission to the hall requires a valid ID and the EUR 35.00 payment receipt; bags, backpacks, books, notes, paper, mobile phones and other electronic devices are forbidden on pain of exclusion, as is communicating with other candidates. • For the admission test (A.Y. 2026/27): Infostud registration (SPID or CIE credentials for Italian citizens; student ID number and password for foreign citizens), a valid ID document and the receipt of the EUR 35.00 test fee (payable online by credit card via PagoPA only, entering code 28614), both shown at the entrance of the test room. The fee is never refunded, and registering for a different test - even by clerical error - bars participation. Non-EU citizens residing abroad additionally need the Universitaly online pre-enrolment application and the resulting study visa for 'University enrolment'.

  • For enrolment with a foreign qualification (A.Y. 2026/2027 list of the Hello - International Student Office; documents merged into a single PDF and emailed to studentistranieri@uniroma1.it with the subject line 'Ready for enrolment + degree programme code and name + student ID number + surname and first name', any CIMEA statements attached separately as the original PDF files; the office later checks the original hard copies at an in-person appointment): valid passport (or identity card for EU citizens only); study visa for 'University enrolment' (non-EU residing abroad); receipt of the residence permit request (non-EU visa holders); residence permit card (non-EU living in Italy); High School Diploma obtained after at least 12 years of study with an official sworn translation into Italian or English (a sworn translation into Italian is not required if the diploma was originally issued in English); for countries listed in the ARDI database, the Statement of Correspondence downloaded from ARDI plus the CIMEA Statement of Verification or, alternatively, legalisation/Apostille of the original and translated diploma; for other countries, the CIMEA Statement of Comparability and Statement of Verification or, alternatively, a Declaration of Value (DoV) issued by the competent Italian diplomatic mission with legalisation/Apostille of the original and translated diploma; for International Baccalaureate (IB) Diplomas specific guidelines apply (see Attachment 2 of the Ministerial Regulations).

  • Enrolment is completed on Infostud with code 28614 by paying the first instalment plus EUR 16.00 stamp duty and the regional tax; an ISEE 2026 calculation is needed for fee reductions (Italian tax residents only). Applicants transferring from another Sapienza programme use the 'Passaggio di corso con riconoscimento esami' form from https://www.uniroma1.it/en/pagina/student-forms.

  • Within 60 days of paying the first instalment: Mantoux tuberculin test and hepatitis B vaccination at the local health board (ASL), with the official medical certificate form filled in, signed and stamped by a doctor. The Hello - International Student Office may request further documentation or refuse admission if requirements are not met.

  • No admission information for A.Y. 2027/28 has been published yet (checked on 29 September 2026); all dates and requirements shown are for A.Y. 2026/27.
  • The 2026/27 rankings and enrolment deadlines were corrected on 28 September 2026; further intakes from the ranking are announced only on the programme page.
  • The English version of the corrected 2026/27 deadlines prints the third new intake as 'October 22, 2025'; the Italian version gives 22 October 2026, which is the date shown.
  • The Nursing call sets no English certificate requirement. No Nursing document says whether Sapienza's general English certificate list applies to this programme or how Sapienza certifies English for visa applicants; applicants should confirm with Sapienza's Health Professions Student Affairs Office.
  • Only one place is reserved for non-EU applicants residing abroad (final 2026/27 places set by Ministerial Decree no. 1014 of 7 August 2026: 18 EU and 1 non-EU).
  • This programme is not part of Sapienza's MoveIn online pre-selection: there is no pre-acceptance letter and no EUR 30 pre-selection fee, and admission is only through the in-person test.
  • The course catalogue lists this programme as 'Nursing - Roma Azienda Ospedaliera Sant'Andrea' (code 28614). Sapienza's other Nursing (Infermieristica) courses at other hospital sites are taught in Italian and have separate calls.
  • The course catalogue page states that its 2026-2027 content is still being updated, so descriptive details on that page may change.
  • For International Baccalaureate (IB) Diplomas, Sapienza's 2026/27 enrolment page only refers to specific guidelines (Attachment 2 of the Ministerial Regulations); an exemption from the Statement of Comparability or Declaration of Value for IB Diplomas appears only in an older (2021) Sapienza document and is not confirmed for 2026/27.
