Universitaly visa pre-enrolment: Tor Vergata's rule for programmes with an entrance exam is that it must be submitted before the test, and a copy of the pre-enrolment application must be shown at the test. Reserved places: 20 at the Rome site and 320 at the Tirana (Albania) site, filled from a separate merit ranking drawn up by Tor Vergata (score above 0 needed; the ranking date is not stated in the call). After admission, candidates with a foreign qualification upload their documents and show the originals at the International Students Office. A.Y. 2026/27: an Italian upper-secondary school diploma or a foreign qualification recognised as eligible under current rules. A foreign qualification must follow at least 12 years of schooling (a shorter school system can be completed with one or two years of university exams, a related post-secondary qualification or a Foundation Course); if the issuing country requires an academic aptitude test for university access, its certificate is also required. Admission depends only on the national admission test in English: EU and Italy-resident candidates need at least 20 points to be ranked, non-EU candidates residing abroad need a score above 0, and places are then assigned in merit order. The call sets no minimum school grade.

English: the programme is taught entirely in English and every question of the admission test is written in English; the call sets no separate English certificate as an admission condition. English certificates listed in Annex 3 of the call (for example Cambridge B2 First or higher, IELTS 5.5-6.5 for B2, TOEFL 87-109 for B2, Trinity ISE II; at least one school year at an English-medium school counts as a certificate), held by the registration deadline and declared at test registration, are used only to break ties in the ranking. Non-EU visa applicants: the national MUR procedures for 2026/27 require the university to check B2 knowledge of the course language for visa applications to courses not taught in Italian; the Medicine call does not say how this check is made for this programme . Italian: not required for admission; free CLICI Italian courses (to B1, 3 ECTS) are offered, and an Italian B2 level, certified by an exam at the end of the second semester of year 2, is mandatory to enrol in year 4 (clinical practice).

Date: Tuesday 29 September 2026; at Tor Vergata candidates report at 10:00 at the Faculty of Medicine (Via Montpellier 1) and the test starts at 13:30 (foreign venues in Table A start at the matching local time); 100 minutes. 60 multiple-choice questions with five options, all written in English: 4 reading comprehension and knowledge from studies, 5 logical reasoning and problems, 23 biology, 15 chemistry, 13 physics and mathematics (syllabus in Annex A). Scoring: +1.5 per correct answer, -0.4 per wrong answer, 0 per blank, maximum 90 points. Eligibility: at least 20 points for EU and Italy-resident candidates; above 0 for non-EU candidates residing abroad. Ties: section scores (biology, chemistry, physics and mathematics, logic, reading), then an Annex 3 English certificate declared at registration, then disability status, then the younger candidate. Registration only on Universitaly 26 August - 9 September 2026 (3 p.m. GMT+2) with the participation fee paid as published on Universitaly. Scores 8 October 2026; national merit ranking 26 October 2026.
