Rolling vs window: Window-based: two distinct intakes — an anticipated visa-track intake (Jan–Apr 2026) and a single EU / Italy-resident intake (Sep–Oct 2026). Enrolment runs 2 September 2026 – 20 November 2026 (visa-track) and 6 November 2026 – 20 November 2026 (EU / Italy-resident).
Tuition fee band (ISEE / flat): ISEE / ISEE-Parificato income-banded fees set by the Tor Vergata Board annually; first-instalment €156 at enrolment. DoV / CIMEA statement required: Required at enrolment for applicants with foreign degrees — CIMEA Statement of Comparability / Verification or Declaration of Value (DoV) from the Italian consulate (per Art. 6 of the Sport and Health Promotion Admission Notice).
Applicants must hold one of: an ISEF diploma recognised as equivalent under Law No. 136 of 13 June 2002; a Bachelor's degree in Motor Sciences (Class 33 D.M. 509/1999 or Class L-22 D.M. 270/2004); a four-year degree in Motor Sciences obtained under Art. 5 §6 of the Ministerial Decree of 15 January 1999; a four- or five-year degree in Motor Sciences or in the field of Sport Sciences. Alternatively, applicants holding other degree qualifications may apply under Art. 6 §2 of D.M. 270/2004 with admission subject to the evaluation procedure of Art. 2 of the Notice and a positive Committee outcome.
English at least CEFR B2 under Art. 6 of the draft programme regulation (June 2025): proved by a certificate of B2 or higher or, without one, at an interview (draft regulation); the programme site says foreign graduates' English is assessed by an evaluating committee. No list of accepted certificates or minimum scores is published, and the 2026/27 call itself sets no language requirement (the programme is taught entirely in English). For international applicants to English-taught programmes, the University's general rule (2026/27 admissions cycle) is an accepted B2 (CEFR) English language certificate issued by a recognised awarding body or official evidence that English was the medium of instruction for their previous studies; otherwise the Language Centre's (CLA) Online English Language Exam, whose B2 statement is uploaded to the Universitaly pre-enrolment. Italian is not required for admission, but the draft programme regulation (June 2025) requires foreign students to have basic Italian (A1) in addition to the 120 credits in order to graduate (Italian students need a second EU language besides English).
No entrance test (A.Y. 2026/27). Application on Delphi - visa applicants in the first intake through Button 1 'Application for admission to courses taught in English - APPLICATION', Italian, EU and legally resident applicants in the second intake through Button 1 'Request for verification of curricular requirements' - uploading the degree certificate with the transcript, and a EUR 30 non-refundable assessment fee via PagoPA (waived for applicants with a disability of at least 66% and for Tor Vergata graduates with at least 100/110). After the deadline a committee of the Programme Board assesses the qualifications, the curricular requirements and individual preparation; the draft programme regulation (June 2025) foresees an interview with the committee on the admission subject areas, where English B2 is checked if no certificate is presented; the 2026/27 call mentions no interview, and foreign candidates may be assessed with or without aptitude tests. Outcome by e-mail (first intake) or on Delphi from 6 November 2026 (second intake).

The interview, the way English is checked without a certificate and the basic Italian (A1) requirement for graduation come from the programme regulation of June 2025, which is marked as a draft awaiting approval; the 2026/27 call itself sets no language requirement and mentions no interview.
The programme was formerly called 'Physical Activity and Health Promotion'; the description on the English programme page and the programme website header still use the old name.
The June 2025 draft regulation lists more admissible degrees than the 2026/27 call (for example physiotherapy, biotechnology, biology, pharmacy, medicine and nutrition) and says the degree used for access must not be older than eight years; the call does not mention this limit, so it is not confirmed whether it applies in 2026/27.
The course syllabi and motivation letter listed among the documents are not named on the official pages; the 2026/27 call asks for the degree certificate with the transcript, and the draft regulation mentions a CV.
Official pages name different departments for this programme (Experimental Medicine and Surgery; Biomedicine and Prevention; Clinical Sciences and Translational Medicine); the programme website gives the teaching location as the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, Via Montpellier 1, 00133 Rome.
Fee bands, the flat-fee option and scholarship details shown are not confirmed for 2026/27; the admission notice refers to the Student Handbook 2026/2027 for tuition details.
