open access with curriculum evaluation (official access type 'Open with curriculum evaluation', A.Y. 2026/27): admission depends on the Admission Board's check of the curricular requirements and of the candidate's personal preparation; there is no entrance test and no fixed number of places is published for Italian, EU and legally resident applicants. Rolling vs window: window-based - four intakes, each with its own online application period and Teams interview period; candidates cannot re-apply for the same academic year and acceptance cannot be deferred to a later year.
Tuition fee band (ISEE / flat), A.Y. 2026/27: annual all-inclusive contribution between EUR 0 and EUR 4,250 (contribution class 4, ordinary rate that applies to first-year students), based on the family income declared in the ISEE-Università or, for income earned abroad, the Equivalent ISEE (ISEE parificato); students with an ISEE-Università up to EUR 26,000 pay no contribution. The EUR 156 regional tax and stamp duty is due in any case. International students whose family income is abroad and for whom the ISEE cannot be calculated pay a fixed annual all-inclusive contribution of EUR 2,500 (plus the EUR 156), even with a Lazio DiSCo scholarship, unless they obtain an Equivalent ISEE-Università from a CAF by 15 December 2026.
A.Y. 2026/27 (2027/28 dates not yet published on 28 September 2026). Non-EU citizens residing abroad who need a study visa can apply only in the first three intakes (Delphi application with the EUR 30 fee paid and validated by the deadline): first intake 10 November - 22 December 2025, second intake 12 January - 27 February 2026, third intake 2 March - 29 May 2026; final deadline for visa applicants 29 May 2026. 30 places are reserved for them. Eligible candidates have an online interview on Microsoft Teams; admitted students receive an acceptance letter and confirm by e-mail. They then complete the Universitaly pre-enrolment by 31 July 2026 (it also serves as the visa request), uploading passport, photo, admission letter, Bachelor's diploma with transcript, the country-specific qualification documents and the CIMEA Statement of Verification together with either the CIMEA Statement of Comparability (countries not party to the Lisbon Convention) or the ARDI Statement of Correspondence (Lisbon Convention countries). The University approves the pre-enrolment only after the documents are uploaded; the student then applies for the visa at the Italian embassy or consulate. Enrolment is possible only after graduating (window 15 July - 30 November 2026); according to the official Italian call, holders of a foreign qualification and visa applicants must complete enrolment in person at the International Students Office by 18 December 2026. The programme starts on 31 August 2026. The 2026/27 intakes for visa applicants are closed.
Non-EU pre-enrolment portal (Universitaly): www.universitaly.it - mandatory for all non-EU applicants not residing in Italy (including holders of a residence permit of another EU country); Tor Vergata deadline 31 July 2026. Not required for Italian, EU and EU-equivalent citizens or non-EU citizens legally residing in Italy.
DoV / CIMEA statement required: yes, uploaded in the Universitaly pre-enrolment - CIMEA Statement of Verification plus CIMEA Statement of Comparability (qualifications from countries not party to the Lisbon Convention) or plus the ARDI Statement of Correspondence (Lisbon Convention countries); CIMEA statements take about 60 working days. Tor Vergata's central application page also accepts, for Lisbon Convention countries, a Declaration of Value from the Italian embassy instead of the ARDI statement and a legalised (or apostilled) translation instead of the CIMEA Statement of Verification.
A.Y. 2026/27. (a) A three-year first-cycle degree in one of these Italian classes: L-08 (Information Engineering), L-09 (Industrial Engineering), L-16 (Administration and Organisation Sciences), L-18 (Economics and Business Management), L-30 (Physics), L-31 (Computer Science), L-33 (Economics), L-35 (Mathematics), L-36 (Political Science and International Relations), L-40 (Sociology), L-41 (Statistics), L-42 (History), or LMG/01 (Law) and equivalent. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Commerce does not meet the requirements. A foreign qualification must be a first-cycle (Bologna Process) / EQF level 6 degree from a higher-education institution that allows access to second-cycle studies, with at least 15 years of education in total; a special Evaluation Commission of the programme checks its correspondence with the listed classes and the credit requirements. (b) In addition, the previous university career must include at least 12 CFU in statistical-mathematical sectors (MAT/01-MAT/09, SECS-S/01-SECS-S/06) and 6 CFU in economics sectors (SECS-P/01-SECS-P/13). Missing requirements must be made up before the enrolment deadline. Candidates may apply before graduating if at most 18 ECTS credits are missing (the CV must state the graduation date and the exams still to be taken), but may enrol only after earning the degree. (c) Adequate personal preparation - adequate knowledge of the general principles of economics and good mathematical-statistical preparation - is verified in an online interview in English with the Coordinator or delegates. The call states no minimum degree mark.

The English call page gives enrolment from 15 July to 30 November 2026; the official Italian call also asks international students with a foreign qualification and study-visa applicants to complete enrolment in person at the International Students Office by 18 December 2026.
