Rolling vs window: five intakes with fixed application periods and interview weeks; within them the Admission Board evaluates applications on a rolling basis and sends the outcome of the requirements check by e-mail on a rolling basis. Only one application per academic year; acceptance cannot be deferred to a later year.
Tuition fee band (ISEE / flat), A.Y. 2026/27: annual all-inclusive contribution between EUR 0 and EUR 5,250 (contribution class 5, ordinary rate that applies to first-year students), based on the family income declared in the ISEE-Università or, for income earned abroad, the Equivalent ISEE (ISEE parificato); students with an ISEE-Università up to EUR 26,000 pay no contribution. The EUR 156 regional tax and stamp duty is due in any case. International students whose family income is abroad and for whom the ISEE cannot be calculated pay a fixed annual all-inclusive contribution of EUR 2,500 (plus the EUR 156), even with a Lazio DiSCo scholarship, unless they obtain an Equivalent ISEE-Università from a CAF by 15 December 2026.
A.Y. 2026/27 (2027/28 dates not yet published on 28 September 2026). Non-EU citizens residing abroad who need a study visa can apply only in the first three intakes (Delphi application with the EUR 50 fee paid and validated by the deadline): first intake 10 November - 17 December 2025 (17 November - 17 December 2025 in the updated Italian call), second intake 7 January - 16 March 2026, third intake 23 March - 29 May 2026. The official Italian call and the English application schedule end the third intake on 29 May 2026, while the English deadline list gives 28 May 2026 for visa applicants. 30 places are reserved for visa applicants. Eligible candidates have an online interview (waived with a final mark of at least 70% of the maximum and the language requirement met); admitted students receive an acceptance letter and confirm by e-mail. They then complete the Universitaly pre-enrolment by 31 July 2026 (it also serves as the visa request), uploading passport, photo, admission letter, Bachelor's diploma with transcript, the country-specific qualification documents and the CIMEA Statement of Verification together with either the CIMEA Statement of Comparability (countries not party to the Lisbon Convention) or the ARDI Statement of Correspondence (Lisbon Convention countries); they must graduate by the pre-enrolment deadline set by the Italian embassy in their country. The student then applies for the visa at the Italian embassy or consulate. Enrolment window 15 July - 6 November 2026; according to the official Italian call, holders of a foreign qualification and visa applicants must complete enrolment in person at the International Students Office by 18 December 2026. The programme starts on 31 August 2026. The 2026/27 intakes for visa applicants are closed.
Non-EU pre-enrolment portal (Universitaly): www.universitaly.it - mandatory for all non-EU applicants not residing in Italy (including holders of a residence permit of another EU country); deadline 31 July 2026 (EEBL call and enrolment page). Not required for Italian, EU and EU-equivalent citizens or non-EU citizens legally residing in Italy.
DoV / CIMEA statement required: yes, uploaded in the Universitaly pre-enrolment - CIMEA Statement of Verification plus CIMEA Statement of Comparability (qualifications from countries not party to the Lisbon Convention) or plus the ARDI Statement of Correspondence (Lisbon Convention countries). Tor Vergata's central application page also accepts, for Lisbon Convention countries, a Declaration of Value from the Italian embassy instead of the ARDI statement and a legalised (or apostilled) translation instead of the CIMEA Statement of Verification.
A.Y. 2026/27. (a) An undergraduate (three-year) degree in one of these Italian classes: L-5 Philosophy, L-7 Civil and Environmental Engineering, L-8 Information Engineering, L-9 Industrial Engineering, L-10 Humanities (Lettere), L-11 Modern Languages and Cultures, L-14 Legal Services, L-16 Administration and Organisation Sciences, L-18 Economics and Business Management, L-20 Communication Sciences, L-30 Physics, L-31 Computer Science, L-33 Economics, L-35 Mathematics, L-36 Political Science and International Relations, L-37 Social Sciences for Cooperation, Development and Peace, L-40 Sociology, L-41 Statistics, L-42 History, or LM-G01 Law. A foreign qualification must be a first-cycle (Bologna Process) / EQF level 6 degree from a higher-education institution that allows access to second-cycle studies; a special Evaluation Commission of the programme checks its suitability and correspondence with the listed classes and the credit requirement. At least 15 years of schooling in total are required (elementary, middle and high school plus the undergraduate degree). (b) In addition, the previous university career must include at least 12 CFU in the listed economics sectors (SECS-P/01-SECS-P/13) and/or statistics-mathematics sectors (MAT/01-MAT/09, SECS-S/01-SECS-S/06). Missing requirements must be made up before the enrolment deadline. Candidates may apply before graduating if at most 18 credits are missing (the CV must state the graduation date and the exams still to be taken), but may enrol only after earning the degree. (c) Adequate personal preparation - general principles of economics and a good mathematical-statistical background - is verified in an online interview in English; candidates who already meet the curricular and language requirements and have a final degree mark or final GPA of at least 77/110 (or 70% of the maximum for foreign qualifications) are exempt from the interview.

The interview exemption is worded differently within the call page: the entry requirements exempt candidates who meet the curricular and language requirements with a final mark or GPA of at least 77/110 (70% of the maximum for foreign qualifications), while the 'Second step' section mentions a final mark or GPA of 70% and schedules the interview for candidates who have not yet completed their Bachelor's degree.
The EEBL fee page (EUR 0 - 5,250) does not state an academic year; the range matches the university's Student Handbook 2026/2027, which also sets the fixed EUR 2,500 contribution for international students whose ISEE cannot be calculated. The call page's 'Student Guide' link still opens the 2025/26 handbook.
