Akademik Koşullar
Applicants must hold a first-cycle (Bachelor's) degree in Computer Science (Italian class L-31), Computer Engineering (L-8), Statistics (L-41), Economics (L-18 or L-33), Physics (L-30), or Mathematics (L-35), or in the equivalent classes under Italian Law D.M. 509/1999. Holders of a Bachelor's degree from another class are also admitted provided they have acquired at least 40 ECTS/CFU credits in one or more of the following scientific-disciplinary areas: Management and Economics (SECS-P/*, ING-IND/35), Informatics (INF/01, ING-INF/05), Physics (FIS/*), Mathematics (MAT/*), and Statistics (SECS-S/*). For qualifications obtained abroad, exceptions may be made only by resolution of the Admissions Committee, based on the candidate's specific background. Basic knowledge of discrete mathematics, logics, computer programming, algorithmics, and databases is required as pre-requisite. For non-EU applicants, selection is based on graduation study performance (CGPA), the affinity of the Bachelor's transcript exams with the target Master's, and any additional education or working experiences in the CV.
Dil Koşulları
Proficient knowledge of English at least at level B2 of the CEFR is required. Accepted certifications include: IELTS with score at least 5.5; TOEFL iBT with score at least 72; Cambridge First Certificate in English (FCE); B2 certification issued by any (public or private) authorised body; CLI (Centro Linguistico, University of Pisa) proficiency certificate at level B2.1; at least 6 ECTS of L-LIN/12 'Lingua e traduzione lingua Inglese'. Applicants without formal certification may be assessed by interview. Students with adequate knowledge but no certification may still be admitted under the requirement that the certification be obtained before graduation (and possibly within the first year). Italian is not required for the English-track study plan, although some Business Economics and Business Law elective courses are taught in Italian.
Sınav / Test
Document evaluation and ranking (CGPA, transcript affinity, CV); interview by the President of the Course of Study (or delegate) may be required when prior preparation needs to be assessed; English certification at B2+ (IELTS 5.5, TOEFL iBT 72, Cambridge FCE, CLI B2.1, or equivalent); non-EU applicants pay a EUR 30 application fee.
