- Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent undergraduate degree) in science or engineering equivalent to programmes offered by the University of Pisa in the aerospace engineering field. Italian regulatory minima (approximately 120 CFUs total): Group 1 Mathematics/Statistics minimum 36 CFUs

- Group 3 Aeronautics minimum 6 CFUs

English proficiency at level B2 or higher (Common European Framework). For the MSSE (English-taught Space Engineering curriculum), TOEFL computer-based score > 250 (paper-based > 600) or IELTS overall band score of at least 7 is recommended. Tests are not mandatory but serve as a preferential criterion for admission. Certified documentation may exempt applicants from verification.

No entrance exam. Selection via Admission Board review of academic record, statement of purpose, CV; English proficiency test (TOEFL/IELTS) and GRE are optional but treated as preferential criteria. For Italian L-9 graduates with weighted average >= 22/30, direct admission applies; others undergo personal preparation assessment with possible interview.
