- The degree program is free access. The general curricular requirement for admission is the possession of a three-year degree in Computer Science (Class 26 or Class L-31), or in Computer Engineering (Class 9 or L-8), or in Mathematics (Class 32 or L-35) or in Physics (Class 25 or L-30). Students with a 3-year Bachelor's degree from another class obtained in Italy or equivalent qualifications obtained abroad can be admitted if they have acquired at least 72 ECTS (Italian equivalent CFU) credits in the INF/01 or ING/INF-05 sectors or MAT* or FIS* of which at least 36 in INF/01 or INF/ING-05 and at least 18 credits in the MAT* and FIS* sectors. In addition (for the selection of foreign-qualification applicants under the official call): applicants must have a good knowledge of English, a solid background, high motivation, and hard working attitude; applicants will be selected according to their graduation study performance (CGPA), to the affinity of their graduation transcript exams with the target Master degree, and to any additional education or working experiences in their CV.
- Dil Koşulları
- A good knowledge of English at Level B2 (CEFR) or higher is required. The program is entirely taught in English. Applicants must submit a B2-level English certificate or, where applicable, a self-certification/declaration via the application portal. The official 2026/2027 call for non-EU citizens does not specify a minimum IELTS/TOEFL score; the assessment of English knowledge is verified together with the academic background, possibly through a test arranged by the President of the CdS or a delegated commission.
- Sınav / Test
- Evaluation of training curriculum (graduation study performance/CGPA, transcript affinity, CV); optional verification test on foundations of information sciences/technologies and English at the discretion of the President of the CdS or a delegated commission; bachelor graduates in Computer Science (class 26 or L-31) or Computer Engineering (class 9 or L-8) are automatically considered adequately prepared, subject to English language verification
Gerekli Belgeler
- First-level Bachelor's degree (or expected graduation) with transcripts;
- Curriculum Vitae (CV) covering education and any additional education or working experiences;
- Evidence of good knowledge of English (B2-level certificate or self-certification/declaration via the Admissionelm portal);
- Mandatory application fee of EUR 30.00 paid on the application portal (for applicants holding a foreign qualification);
- Application submitted through the UNIPI portal at https://applymscenglish.unipi.it/. (Paraphrased from the 2026/2027 non-EU call and the LM-18 teaching regulations; the call instructs applicants to use the UNIPI portal where the full document checklist is enforced.)

Belirsizlik Notları
- academic_requirements: The ESTRATTO-REGOLAMENTO PDF on the di.unipi.it site is dated A.A. 2025-2026 (the most recent regolamento extract published; the 2026/2027 extract had not been published at the source domains at research time). The 2026/2027 admission rules in the official non-EU call (bando_8_wif-lm_en.pdf) confirm that the same Bachelor's-degree-based admission framework continues to apply. language_requirements: The 2026/2027 non-EU call does not state a specific minimum IELTS/TOEFL score; the requirement is CEFR B2, verified via certificate or self-declaration and, if needed, an additional verification test by the President of the CdS. admission_type: Officially described as 'free access' (open access) per the LM-18 teaching regulations; for foreign-qualification applicants, an evaluation/selection process by the CS Department is applied (CGPA, transcript affinity, CV), but the program itself does not have a numerus clausus or a competitive selection call; 'open access' chosen as the primary admission_type, consistent with the regolamento wording. required_documents: Document list is paraphrased from the 2026/2027 non-EU call and the LM-18 teaching regulations; the exhaustive document checklist is enforced by the application portal (https://applymscenglish.unipi.it/) rather than being printed in the published call PDF. tuition_or_fees_link: 2026/2027 tuition amounts are typically published by the Board of Directors in June 2026; figures referenced are for a.y. 2025/2026 (maximum all-inclusive EUR 2,900).
