- CRITICAL STRUCTURE NOTE: IPH is NOT a standalone 3-year English-taught bachelor degree. It is a 12-month English-immersion preparatory year (60 ECTS = first year of a 3-year BA) embedded inside one of four UniPi BA degrees (BA History, BA Languages/Literature/Intercultural Communication, BA Philosophy, BA Studies in Performing Art and Communication). Only year 1 is taught primarily in English; years 2-3 of the underlying BA are taught mainly in Italian. The IPH year also includes 240 hours of mandatory Italian language classes specifically to prepare students for the Italian-language continuation. Treat 'level: bachelor' with care: the canonical IPH pages frame it as the first year of a BA, not a complete English-medium BA.
- Field-specific uncertainties:
- - degree_class: The Italian degree class code (L-10 / L-11 / L-20 / L-3, etc.) is not published on the IPH-facing pages; the actual L-class depends on which of the four host BA degrees the student enrols in. Marked [uncertain].
- - application_deadline_eu / application_deadline_non_eu: Sourced from the IPH deadlines page for the XI Edition 2026/2027. There is an additional earlier deadline of 2026-04-30 specifically for applicants from Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq and Pakistan (recorded in source_quotes), which is stricter than the generic non-EU deadline.
