- Applicants need a minimum three-year bachelor's degree or equivalent and must demonstrate prior preparation in mathematics, physics, computer science, biology, molecular biology, and bioinformatics. The Academic Committee also evaluates previous academic performance.

- Required Level: English B2 (CEFR) or equivalent. Only certificates obtained no more than five years before 2 November 2025 are accepted.; Accepted Proofs: TOEFL iBT with a minimum score of 80.; IELTS Academic or General Training with a minimum score of 6.0.; Cambridge English B2 First with a minimum score of 173.; PTE General 3 (ESOL International Level 1).; Pearson English International Certificate Level 3 Upper Intermediate.; Pearson Test of English Academic with a minimum score of 65.; A provisional statement of results issued by the certifying body is accepted if the final certificate has not yet been issued.; Exemption Rules: Applicants are exempt if their previous education leading to the entry qualification was completed entirely in English.; Applicants are exempt if they are native English speakers from one of the countries recognized by the University of Padua.; Deadline: 31 August 2026 for open access degree programmes.
