The programme has two study tracks. For foreign-title applicants, the official application pages require a minimum three-year bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Physical Sciences and Technologies, Computer Science and Technology, or Mathematical Sciences, with deep knowledge of Mathematics, Physics, and Statistics. The 2026/27 official admission call also distinguishes an open-access Mathematical Modelling for Engineering and Science track and a limited-access Financial Engineering track .
Curriculum Vitae (Resume) in English (application · all): Required for English-taught degree applications.
Motivational letter in English (application · all): Required for English-taught degree applications.
Transcript of records (application · all): If needed, an English or Italian translation must be uploaded at application stage. No legalized documents are required at application stage.
Academic qualification or provisional enrollment certificate (application · all): If the final qualification has not yet been awarded, an enrollment or provisional certificate is accepted.
Valid ID card or passport (application · all): EU applicants and non-EU applicants residing in Italy may use an ID card; other applicants normally provide a passport.
Residence permit (application · conditional): Required only for non-EU citizens residing in Italy.
English language certificate or accepted exemption proof (application · conditional): Required unless the applicant qualifies for an official exemption.
Bachelor's diploma translated into Italian or English and legalized (enrolment · all): A post-secondary qualification awarded by a non-university higher education institution is also accepted if it allows admission to master's degrees.
Transcript of Records translated into Italian or English and legalized (enrolment · all): The transcript should state passed exams, grades, and preferably ECTS credits and programme description.
Universitaly pre-enrolment and Study Visa D - enrolment (visa/pre-enrolment · non_eu): Non-EU citizens residing outside Italy must pre-enrol through Universitaly no later than 15 July and need a study visa to enter Italy.
Residence permit or residence-permit application receipt (Assicurata) (enrolment · conditional): Required for non-EU applicants after arrival in Italy; the residence-permit application must be filed within 8 working days.
