Kampüs

Udine (Department of Engineering and Architecture / Dipartimento Politecnico di Ingegneria e Architettura – DPIA, Via delle Scienze 206, Udine). The manifesto lists "Ingegneria Gestionale *** (LM-31 Ingegneria gestionale) – sede di Udine". No branch campus (unlike some other Italian programmes hosted elsewhere).

Derece Sınıfı

LM-31 / LM-33

Kabul Tipi

Hybrid: the Italian-system degree itself is open access ("accesso libero" — no numero programmato, no national/local quota, no admission test in the Italian sense), BUT applicants holding a foreign qualification must go through a compulsory pre-evaluation selection call on the Elix-Forms platform, and the English-taught international track is capped at 20 slots per academic year filled on a rolling CV-evaluation basis. So in practice, for the international audience it behaves as a 'selection call' with a capped, first-come/rolling intake rather than truly free access.

Resmî Eğitim Dili

English — 100% of the teaching in this curriculum is delivered in English. UNIUD lists "Master's degree in Management Engineering" in its official list of "Master's degree courses taught entirely in English". The parent LM-31 degree also contains a second, separate curriculum ("Ingegneria Gestionale") that is taught mainly in Italian with only some English modules — that Italian-majority track is NOT covered here and requires Italian B2. In the official non-EU vacant-places table the row "MANAGEMENT ENGINEERING curriculum taught in English" shows a dash ("-") under "Required Italian proficiency", i.e. no Italian language certificate is required for the English track.

AB / AEA adayları

01/02/2026 – 10/09/2026 (Elix-Forms pre-evaluation window for applicants RESIDENT IN EU COUNTRIES holding a foreign qualification). Official wording: "Applications for admission to master's degree courses taught in Italian and in English must be submitted on the Elix-Forms platform between 01/02/2026 and 10/09/2026." WARNING: this nominal end date can be overtaken by the 20-slot cap, which closes the international track once filled; and enrolment itself must be completed by 5 October 2026 at 12:00, leaving very little margin for a 10 September application.

AB / AEA dışı adaylar

01/02/2026 – 31/05/2026 (Elix-Forms pre-evaluation window for applicants RESIDENT IN NON-EU COUNTRIES). Official wording: "Applications for admission to Master's degree courses taught in Italian or English must be submitted through the Elix-Forms platform between 01/02/2026 and 31/05/2026." This is more than three months earlier than the EU window because the non-EU path must leave time for the letter of eligibility, Universitaly pre-enrolment by 30 June 2026 and study-visa issuance.

Kabul koşulları

Akademik geçmiş
  • For applicants with a foreign qualification (the English track's target audience), UNIUD states three cumulative requirements: (1) "A relevant Bachelor's degree (Industrial Engineering or IT Engineering), obtained within the last five years" — the Additional Notice's requirements table words this as "Bachelor degree in Industrial or Information Engineering obtained in the last five years"
  • (2) "Final grade: >= 90/110 (Italian system) or >= 3/4 of the maximum (foreign equivalent)" — the Additional Notice table states "The final grade of the bachelor degree must be not less than 3/4 of the maximum possible"
  • (3) "At least B1 CEFR level of English". The foreign bachelor must additionally be an official first-cycle degree issued by an accredited institution in its own education system and must give access to equivalent second-cycle courses there; its eligibility is verified via a CIMEA Statement or a Declaration of Value (ARDI holders from Lisbon Convention signatory countries must still request the CIMEA Verification Statement). Underlying Italian-system curricular requirements for all LM Engineering courses at UNIUD (relevant if an applicant is assessed against the ordinary route): at least 45 CFU in the SSDs of the basic training activities and at least 80 further CFU in the characterising SSDs; for Ingegneria Gestionale the characterising list is ING-IND/13, ING-IND/16, ING-IND/17, ING-IND/31, ING-IND/32, ING-IND/34, ING-IND/35, ING-INF/01-07 (alternative route: ING-IND/01-28, ING-IND/31-35, ING-INF/04, ING-INF/06-07, ICAR/08, FIS/04). Personal preparation and aptitude are verified by the course teaching committee through evaluation of the previous academic career and a possible test or interview; candidates with a graduation mark of not less than 90/110 are exempt from that test/interview.
Dil yeterliliği

ENGLISH: at least B1 CEFR (programme-specific exception; see english_level_exception). The certificate must clearly indicate the achieved level and must have been obtained within the last 5 years. Recognised certifying bodies listed by UNIUD: Cambridge English Language Assessment; Trinity College London; IELTS; TOEFL; Pearson Edexcel — Test of English Academic (PTE Academic); Pearson General English; Oxford Test of English; LanguageCert International ESOL; Gatehouse Awards Classic; British Council – Aptis ESOL General; British Council – Aptis ESOL Advanced. EXEMPTIONS: applicants who have completed a school programme taught in English (IB diplomas, multilingual schools, etc.) or who are native English speakers (per the UK gov.uk English-language exemptions list referenced by UNIUD) are exempt from providing a certificate. FLEXIBILITY: "It is possible to submit the pre-evaluation application even without the required language certification, provided that the candidate is awaiting the English language test or the issuance of the certification" — but obtaining it remains necessary to complete enrolment. If no certificate at the required level is held, "the competent Academic Committee may assess English language skills through an online interview". ITALIAN: none required for this English-taught curriculum — Attachment 1 shows "-" in the 'Required Italian proficiency' column for the row "MANAGEMENT ENGINEERING curriculum taught in English". (By contrast the Italian-majority Management Engineering track requires Italian B2 via a CLIQ-system certificate: CELI / CILS / CERTIT / PLIDA.)

Sınav / değerlendirme
  • No written entrance examination and no TOLC. TOLC-I at UNIUD applies only to the BACHELOR engineering courses (including the bachelor in Ingegneria Gestionale), not to this master. Selection for the English track is by CV evaluation carried out by the Academic/Admissions Committee on the Elix-Forms pre-evaluation application. An ONLINE INTERVIEW may be used in two situations: (a) where the candidate has no B2 (here B1) English certificate, "the competent Academic Committee may assess English language skills through an online interview"
  • (b) for Italian-system candidates whose bachelor final mark is below 90/110, the teaching committee may set a test or colloquium to verify personal preparation. For master's applicants the 2026/2027 notices describe the interview as discretionary (only the outcome is guaranteed within 30 working days), whereas for the English-taught BACHELOR (MBA) the non-EU notice says the Committee "will schedule an online selection interview"
  • UNIUD does not explicitly state whether an interview is systematically scheduled for every Management Engineering applicant.

  • For the Elix-Forms pre-evaluation application to a second-cycle (master's) degree course, UNIUD requires scanned copies of: (a) foreign final or provisional university qualification (bachelor); (b) list of completed exams / transcript of records / diploma supplement of the foreign bachelor; (c) descriptions of single subjects / syllabus of the foreign bachelor; (d) valid passport; (e) updated curriculum vitae; (f) CIMEA Statements or Declaration of Value of the foreign bachelor; (g) required language certification. Items (f) and (g) are footnoted: "It may also be submitted after the online pre-evaluation procedure, but it is required for the final enrolment procedure at the University of Udine." A non-refundable €20.00 application fee must be paid (via PagoPA, or by bank transfer in specific cases) — "only complete applications will be evaluated, meaning the applications for which the required fee has been duly paid." Because selection for this programme is CV-based, the curriculum vitae is the decisive document. For non-EU visa applicants, a further Universitaly document set is required by 30 June 2026: valid passport; passport-sized photograph; first-cycle university degree; English proficiency certificate (B2 or equivalent per the generic Universitaly wording — B1 for this programme per the programme-specific rule). At final enrolment on Esse3, graduates from other universities must also self-certify the degree obtained and the exams passed, with credits, marks and scientific-disciplinary sectors. A motivation letter is explicitly listed among required documents only for the English-taught BACHELOR (Management & Business Analytics) application; the master's document list (a)–(g) does not name a motivation letter, though the Application Presentation Guide may request one in practice.

  • (1) DOUBLE-COUNTING OF THE NUMBER 20: the programme page's "20 slots per academic year" for the international master programme and Attachment 1's "20 places reserved to future students resident in non E.U. Countries" for the row "MANAGEMENT ENGINEERING curriculum taught in English" are both 20, but no UNIUD document says whether they are the same allocation or two distinct pools (i.e. whether EU-resident international applicants compete for the same 20 slots or have a separate allowance). Treat the safe planning assumption as: at most 20 international students per year in total on the English curriculum. (2) INTERVIEW: for master's applicants the notices frame the online interview as discretionary (used mainly to assess English where no certificate is held, or to verify personal preparation where the bachelor mark is below 90/110); for the English-taught bachelor (Management & Business Analytics) the non-EU notice states an interview WILL be scheduled. It is not clear whether Management Engineering applicants are systematically interviewed. (3) MOTIVATION LETTER: named as required for the English-taught bachelor application but absent from the master's document list (a)–(g); the Application Presentation Guide (a 3.1 MB PDF that could not be parsed as text) may add requirements not reflected here. (4) TWO-TRACK CONFUSION RISK: the generic Italian pages of the LM-31 degree describe the delivery language as Italian and quote only the ordinary Italian access rules (45+80 CFU, colloquium, exemption at 90/110); only the international notices and the programme's English page describe the English curriculum's specific selection (CV, 20 slots, B1, degree within 5 years). Applicants who apply through the ordinary Italian route may be enrolled into the Italian-majority curriculum, which requires Italian B2 and, if treated as partially English, B2 in both languages. (5) DOUBLE DEGREES: the manifesto footnote attaches the FH Joanneum Graz and Alpen-Adria Klagenfurt double degrees explicitly to the "Ingegneria Gestionale" curriculum; availability of these to English-curriculum students is not documented. (6) NOT AN INTERATENEO PROGRAMME: unlike some UNIUD offerings (e.g. the Udine–Trieste inter-university healthcare courses), this degree has no partner administering university — UNIUD is the sole seat for admission, enrolment and fees. Do not confuse it with the separate UNIUD English-taught master "Industrial Engineering for Sustainable Manufacturing", which is an interclass LM-31/LM-33 and requires B2 English. (7) NO PER-PROGRAMME TUITION FIGURE was published on the programme page; fees follow UNIUD's general ISEE-based scheme at the linked tuition page (per the task's scope decision, tuition amounts were not researched as a structured field). (8) TIMELINE PRESSURE for non-EU applicants: pre-evaluation closes 31/05/2026, the decision may take up to 30 working days, and Universitaly pre-enrolment closes 30/06/2026 — a late-May application may not receive its letter of eligibility in time for the Universitaly deadline. (9) ACADEMIC YEAR SCOPE: all dates above are for a.y. 2026/2027 as published in the 2026/2027 Additional Notices and the 2026/27 Engineering manifesto; UNIUD republishes these annually in the winter/July cycle.
