• Accepted Degree Backgrounds: Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree in one of the following classes: L-7, L-8, L-9, L-30, L-31, L-35, or L-41, or an equivalent class under the previous Italian system.
• Additional Italian Degree Rule: Applicants holding an old specialist degree under D.M. 509/99 or an older pre-509 engineering, mathematics, or physics degree may also satisfy the curricular requirements after review by the teaching committee.
• Foreign Degree Rule: For foreign qualifications, the teaching committee checks that the degree follows at least three years of study and that its educational objectives are sufficiently consistent with the listed backgrounds.

• Official academic transcript or provisional certification; a Diploma Supplement may be used where accepted.

• Certified translations for documents not issued in Italian or English.

• English language certificate required for the programme, where applicable.

• Any additional citizenship-specific or programme-specific documents required by apply.unisi.it, such as proof of eligibility for university enrollment in the country of origin.
