Upper secondary diploma or an equivalent foreign qualification recognised as suitable (foreign qualifications: 12 school years for non-EU candidates, see documents). Expected basic knowledge (not checked by a selective exam): elementary maths (equations, Cartesian plane, analytic geometry), basic knowledge of at least one modern foreign language, basic computer literacy, elements of logic. English curriculum 'Marketing and Finance': English level B2 (CEFR or equivalent). Regulation A.Y. 2026/27 art. 6 (point 7): a test in English is taken in the first week of classes; a score below 60 % triggers recovery activities by July of the following year; students holding a valid language certificate from a MUR-accredited certifier are exempt. The English international page states: 'For the enrollment to the English curriculum "Marketing and Finance" it is required a certified B2 English Language Level'. For non-EU applicants (university 'How to Enrol' page, A.Y. 2025/26 text): for courses held in English a B2 certificate must be submitted, or students without one sit the English test at the University Language Centre (CLA); MOI (medium of instruction) certificates may not be accepted and Duolingo is not accepted. No Italian certificate is required for the English curriculum (Italian B2 is required only for Italian-taught courses). Certificate validity period not stated on official pages.

No selective entry test. Students are invited to take the CISIA TOLC-E self-assessment (also valid if taken at another university). Thresholds: total of at least 7 (verbal comprehension + logic + maths), at least 4 in maths, at least 24 in the English section. Students who skip it or miss the thresholds can still enrol but get an OFA (additional learning obligation), to be cleared by July of the following year by passing the September pre-course test (General Maths / Language Skills; pre-courses held Sept 2026 at Pacanowski campus), or the Applied Maths and Linguistic Skills exams, or by earning 18 CFU (A.Y. 2026/27 regulation art. 6 and orienta access page). For the English curriculum an English placement test is also given in the first week of classes (score under 60 % leads to recovery activities) - see language_requirements.

• Non-EU applicants abroad (pre-enrolment on Universitaly plus the Parthenope non-EU portal, source https://international.uniparthenope.it/how-to-enrol/, A.Y. 2025/26 text): original or certified copy of the final secondary qualification obtained after at least 12 school years (with official Italian translation unless in English or French), accompanied by a CIMEA/ENIC-NARIC statement or a Dichiarazione di valore from the Italian embassy (may be shown at enrolment, not needed before arrival for the visa); English B2 certificate (or test at the Language Centre); no pre-admission letters or e-mailed attachments are accepted. EU and Italy-based applicants (orienta enrolment guide, page labelled A.Y. 2024/25, so for 2026/27): ESSE3 online enrolment with ID document, passport-size photo, tax code card, proof of the 16 EUR stamp duty and regional tax, and an ISEE-U attestation if a fee reduction is wanted.
