Matriculation is subject to verification of curricular requirements, adequate personal preparation, and English language proficiency of at least B2. Per the didactic regulation (Art. 4): at least 36 CFU in basic-science subjects (CHIM/03, CHIM/07, INF/01, ING-INF/05, MAT/03, MAT/05, MAT/07, MAT/08, FIS/01, FIS/07) AND at least 36 CFU in mechanical/industrial-engineering subjects (ING-IND/08, 09, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17). Missing credits must be made up before the personal-preparation assessment. For degrees obtained abroad or under previous Italian regulations, the Course Council evaluates the applicant's prior academic career to verify curricular requirements. English at CEFR level B2. If no certificate is held, the department administers its own English-language assessment test before/alongside the interview. No Italian-language requirement, as the programme is delivered entirely in English.
Mandatory oral interview before a commission of at least 3 faculty members (regulation Art. 4 para. 3), plus a department-administered English test if no certificate is submitted. No TOLC. The interview/assessment also verifies curricular-credit adequacy per the CFU thresholds above.
