A.Y. 2026/27. Three-year bachelor's degree in L-33 (Economics) or L-18 (Business Administration), or the equivalent DM 509/99 classes (28, 17), or a foreign degree recognised as suitable. Alternatively any other bachelor's or master's degree with at least: 6 CFU business subjects (SECS-P/07 to P/11), 12 CFU economics (SECS-P/01 to P/06), 6 CFU law (IUS/01, 04, 05, 07, 09, 10, 12, 13, 14) and 9 CFU statistics/mathematics (SECS-S/01 to S/06; MAT/05, 06, 09). Preparation check: automatic if curricular requirements are met and the degree grade is at least 90/110 (foreign grades converted). Otherwise a commission (Nucleo di Coordinamento) assesses the CV and documents and may require extra CFU or an integrative test on basic micro/macroeconomics, maths and statistics, business economics/accounting and public/private/commercial law. Candidates missing CFU may enrol only after acquiring them (e.g. single courses). Graduating students can request the assessment if they graduate by the deadlines.

English: written and oral at least B2 (CEFR) for everyone; proven by the study curriculum, a suitable certificate or a recognised attestation (native speakers deemed compliant). Accepted alternatives (Annex D): language suitability test of the university language centre (CLA), a bachelor's degree taught in English, a university English exam at B2, the Business English exam, or the Erasmus+ B2 test; certificates valid 4 years from the date obtained. An applicant without the level may still enrol but must obtain the certificate during the first year by the deadline in the enrolment procedures (regulation Art. 9.8; the assessment itself still checks English B2 evidence). Italian: non-EU applicants residing abroad need Italian C1 (AICLU-recognised certificate) or at least 61/72 in the CISIA ITA L2 test, but 'Students who are enrolling in the English-taught curriculum are exempt from this requirement' (so Environmental Economics needs no Italian). Note: apply.units.it lists 'Italian' among language requirements without details [uncertain what it demands for the English curriculum].

No standard entry exam. Candidates who meet the curricular requirements with grade >= 90/110 pass the preparation check automatically. Others are assessed by the commission from their CV and documents; the regulation (Art. 9.7 and Annex C) says a written and/or oral integrative test on the basic topics may be prescribed, with topics, format and dates arranged individually with the contact professor (Prof. Mariangela Scorrano, mscorrano@units.it); documents should be sent at least 15 days before the enrolment deadline. No fixed test date published. whether a test or only a CV review applies, because the programme page speaks of a commission assessment based on CV and uploaded documents while the regulation speaks of a test.

• Assessment of preparation (Esse3): valid ID (front and back); self-declaration of the degree with exams taken (not a certificate); self-assessment questionnaire in Excel (from the programme page, 'ITA only'); language certificate if required by the course. Enrolment: supplementary enrolment form, ID in PDF (not needed with SPID), tax-code certificate, passport photo (JPEG, no selfies), language certificate if required (uploaded in the programme-specific forms section), residence permit or proof of application (non-EU only), payment of the first fee instalment. Foreign qualification via apply.units.it: legalised/apostilled documents; transcripts in English or Italian or official translations with verified copies of the originals; EUR 40 application fee.
