Applicants are expected to have basic general culture, mathematics, IT, logic and language skills at upper-secondary level. Foreign qualifications (https://www.unimarconi.it/en/international-students-and-foreign-qualifications/): a total of 12 years of schooling (or 11 years + 1 full year of university, or 10 years + 2 full years of university); students with 11 years may enrol in the university's Foundation Course. The international site states "High school Diploma (with a minimum of 12 years of Schooling)". Checked by the university at enrolment; no minimum grade stated.
English curriculum: English language proficiency at B2 level is a specific admission requirement (regulation Annex 2, curriculum 5; English program page). Official pages do NOT list accepted certificates or minimum scores . The international site FAQ (https://www.unimarconi.com/faq/) says "Our English Language Test provides prospective students who don't have evidence of English proficiency with the opportunity to still enrol." and the international admissions page lists "Evidence of your proficiency in English" among documents (that page is worded for master's programmes). Italian is not required for the English curriculum (Italian B2 is asked only for Italian-taught courses: international-students page). Whether B2 evidence is needed at application or only at enrolment is not stated .
Mandatory NON-selective Orientation Test (Art. 2 of the 2026/27 regulation): must be taken within 60 days of enrolment and in any case before sitting any exam; it does not prevent enrolment. Common area: reading comprehension, basic IT, logic, grammar, foreign language (English and/or French); programme-specific area for L-18: Mathematics, Geography, History. Each section passed at >=70% correct answers; each failed section creates an additional educational requirement (RCI, an online remedial course with a written test; must be cleared before exams of years after the first). Exempt: students with recognised prior exams in consistent subjects, and those with CISIA TOLC-E score >= 7. No fixed test date (taken online after enrolment).
