Upper-secondary diploma obtained after at least 12 years of schooling (foreign qualifications: with sworn translation and CIMEA statement / Declaration of Value or apostille, where applicable). No minimum grade or subject prerequisite is published. Checked by the University during pre-admission (foreign qualification) or at enrolment (Italian diploma). Source years: A.Y. 2026/27 news (visa pre-enrolment) and apply portal (shown for 2027/28); A.Y. 2025/26 how-to-enrol page.

Dil yeterliliği

English at CEFR B2. Proof: B2 certificate from a recognised body (Duolingo and EF SET are not accepted, per the apply portal), or passing the University's free English test (Reading + Listening, minimum B1 level, verified by the Language Centre). Exemptions: students from English-speaking countries or with previous studies in English (English as a Medium of Instruction). Students without B2 may still enrol but must submit a B2 certificate by the end of the first year and cannot take second-year exams until they do (A.Y. 2025/26 how-to-enrol page). For A.Y. 2026/27 the non-EU pre-admission English test ran 12-16 Jan 2026 or 16-20 Mar 2026 (single attempt; Language Centre page). Candidates who passed this test need not upload English proof: the University certifies it when checking the pre-enrolment application. No Italian requirement (English-taught programme).

IECoLS-Entry Test (formerly English TOLC-E), compulsory since A.Y. 2025/26 for everyone who wants to complete enrolment: 15 multiple-choice questions on three short texts, 60 minutes; minimum passing score 9 of 15. Failing does not block enrolment: an Additional Learning Requirement (OFA) is assigned (two workshops: Laboratory of Fundamental Logics, 4 h; Laboratory of Reading Comprehension for Legal Studies, 6 h). Dates published for A.Y. 2025/26: 20 Nov 2025 (3 pm) and 24 Feb 2026 (2 pm), Department of Law, Macerata. Earlier CISIA English TOLC-E results (Feb 2024-Oct 2025) with Logic >= 3/13 and Reading >= 5/10, or TOLC CEnT-S >= 60% overall, are accepted as equivalent. 2026/27 test dates were not found on the pages I could read.
